I really like brutalblood so thanks for the update! I was curious if you would consider making a lighter version? By that i mean toning down only the on hit effects. The puddle decals are fantastic compared to vanillas tiny splodges but the on hit effects with seem a bit like whacking a tomato. Would be nice to have a little less spray on hit.
@Juniiorr The files I found are "Real Brutal Blood for W3EE Redux" but it's almost > two years old, a newer version called "Real Brutal Blood for W3EE Redux_FIXED", then a relatively recent compatibility patch for BiA that is significantly smaller in size which likely means it doesn't contain the mod itself.
Does it work (the newer 'FIXED' version) w/o W3EE Redux? It was asked like three times yet no one has ever answered. Or do I have to delete the "W3EE - Injuries" script file in the mods folder first?
Mb partially, because full mod contain modified w2ent for monsters/ monster parts/player. you can just give priority to EERedux for NG to solve conflicts, but some parts of mod cant work correctly. You moay loose some blood puddles, drops, and etc.
Sadly, but difficult to make patches to all Large Overhauls. Mb later i will do Lite version, like Ulug do, but it will be miss all features like in orginal Brutal Blood Lite version..
There is a Redux version with toned down effects and a patch for BIA available on the Wolven Workshop Discord server. Just search for "Real Brutal Blood".
Hi mate, im using the vortex launcher to use this mod, added the brutal.xml; string too as you had suggested. the mod menu does pop up in game but i cant see any of the effects acually working. im not sure what im doing wrong, the mod is cool so would love to be able to actually use it, thanks
that because not totally accurate folder structure when install by vortex, and mod not work in that case, only menu - for some reason vortex unpak "modBrutalBloodFull" in "BrutallBloodNG/mods/" folder instead of "mods" disable mod - rightclick - open in filemanager - manually move "mods" one level higher - enable, deploy and all should work
Yeah, I tried both, I'm not really a fan of the sword blood trails in Combo Blood. Also I noticed there are blood pools coming from more creatures in BrutalBloodNG (for example ghouls at the start of the game) while there are no blood pools forming under ghouls in Combo Blood. Also the blood in the water stays a lot longer in BrutalBloodNG + there is also blood forming under slashed off body parts too.
Is there any way to get this version on 1.32? I'm playing mostly 4.04 on my computer, but I also do play 1.32 on my laptop. There is an older version of Brutal Blood that works on 1.32 but it doesn't have your bugfixes. Especially the water blood doesn't work, or rotfiend explosions crash the game.
one thing should also be added in this. the blood covered max chance feature should also be added in this new version. just like how it was in the old version of brutal blood. that max chance feature is currently also not functioning and needs to be updated so that it can be added with this mod.

There is also a version for W3EE REDUX and a BIA + REDUX + Real Brutal Blood patch

Have you found out about the performance of this mod without W3EE?
