I also cannot make this mod work, neither the VRO or this version seems to be loading. The faction, ships, equipment, they are all missing. I'm starting a new game with no other mods just to try and troubleshoot this and the mod seems to be having trouble loading its content. Its weird because it looks fine on the extensions menu.
Edit: I should mention I'm on linux and if there is something capitalized in a file name somewhere that might be causing issues.
So I've done some troubleshooting and it seems like the entire catalogue is downloading in a corrupted form for me. I'm using UTF-8 as my default but when I use the catalogue tool to look at the files all of the content is just nonsense with a warning that there are invalid characters in the file.
This also seems to be true for past versions of the mod.
I found the issue! I noticed that your files are packed as .rar, whereas most other mods use .zip.
Using .rar breaks compatibility for Linux users, going forward would it be possible for you to use .zip?
This would apply for every CPSDO mod btw
Edit: For other Linux users, I'm on Linux Mint and in my case I was able to get the mod working by extracting the .rar through UNRAR. The package doesn't come by default which is why I ran into trouble with this mod.
Got problem with this mod cant make it to work got red message that i need Cradle of Humanity. I have it instaled and still getting red text in extension menu .
Interesting mod and I really like the idea of the capital ship missiles. Would it be possible to have a localized version in English for the writing on the ships?
In the current version of the game (7.5) this mod cause all the "Grand Exchange I" sector to disappear (on existing save). Not sure if other behaviors of the game have been modified, but I've uninstalled it for now.
What must I do to remove the Boron requirement for this modpack? I thought it could have been because of the docking system, but I just saw a mod that uses the same system without the need to use the Boron. I normally use one mod at a time due to computer limitations. Any help or direction is greatly appreciated.
If u want to prevent AI from using these ships, u can easily edit it yourself. Just delete the file 'shipgroups' in the mod folder (libraries folder of the mod). If the mod is packed in a ext file, then unpack it with Xtools

//the text from this file is displayed if the desired language file is not available.
///apparently it affects all your mods

I hope an update will come out soon.
:)
Do you mind to write a tiny mod/optional file to put (magically) mandatory equipment (any) in an active ship?
