Do we know if there are any plans to update this mod? It's been highly buggy after 7.5, ships on sector explore (and also the other mod, satellite service) seem to either take hour-long breaks or just stop working all together after a while.
I've messaged the dev but most of their mods haven't been updated in ~11 months. it doesn't seem that complicated so If I get a chance I might have a look and see if it's a simple fix, but no promises.
I fixed the mod, patched the freezing bugs, and everything works perfectly on version 7.50.I tested it with 10 scouts—within 15 minutes, they revealed all stations in the game, including Xenon ones, and then started searching for stations again. During 30 minutes of testing, only one scout was lost, and that was because it got stuck on debris and couldn't boost away from a swarm of Xenons in time.The test was conducted using the "Center around sector core\Skip hexagon pattern\Continue to next sector\Visit stations" mode. Do I need to install the newest version of this mod, and then install yours over the top, or do I not need this mod and I just use yours? I installed your version like any other mod, and it seems like it should work. It shows up as a default behavior I can choose. But, like someone else here said, my scouts fly to a point in the sector and just kinda spin around until moved manually to another sector.

Does this cheat and find hidden stations far from any other station? Or does it only find stations that are within long range scan distance from the locations that it has found? For example, it could be set to only find stations within 200km of the max distance from the center that the ship will travel.
edit: after reviewing the aiscript, this is a cheat. it finds everything, regardless of distance (limited to stations withe neutral or greater standing, so it wont find hostile stations no matter what distance they are).
I play Interworlds as well, but I'd ask for it as a variant mod, or figure out how to do it. Asking them to change the functionality of the mod to fit around a different mod they probably don't play is silly.
There appears to be a bug with the current version of the mod (v1.44) and the game (v7.10 hotfix 1 GOG), whereby the ships using this behaviour, either the Sector or Galaxy version, can't use Superhighways. If I manually order them to go through they can, but with this behaviour they just stop at the entrance and stay there.
They also seem to frequently get stuck while discovering stations (can't confirm nor deny other types of objects). If I delete the current order, they seem to wake up and fly closer and discover it, but it gets annoying having to micromanage them.
I was wondering the same thing, but it was actually because of mod deployment issues with Vortex. Purging all mods - then exiting Vortex completely - then reopening Vortex and deploying the mods again fixed the problem. The 'Sector Explorer' behavior now shows up under the Navigation section of the Default Behavior settings.
I am running the latest version of the game and the mod as of the the date of this post.
I have installed through steam and vortex and it does not work with either method. Please explain "purging all mods" I disabled all mods, shut vortex down, restarted vortex and enabled all mods and still no new behavior just standard explore option.
Great mod, but is there a chance that the explorer could respect black lists? I am playing X4 Reemergence, with a lot of Xenon things going on, and those explorers keep dying in hostile territory...

Even more inconvenient since I bought my X4 from GOG and can't get into the (elite) Steam Workshop :(
As of today this IS the same version: 1.35
so there is no need to install it from workshop
