I have noticed the missing icons for some Xenon fighters that BattlemanMK2 mentioned in the bugs section. Will the fix you mentioned you were working on be uploaded soon?
Sorry I haven't had much time to work on the mod and test it on x4, but I should have some time during the holidays to update and rework some of the icons. I'll try to release before the end of the year.
Would it be possible for you to make a mod that changes the hud icons for missiles to be words instead? i looked over the forums and all over and couldn't find anyone with a mod. :o you would be a life saver!
I'm not sure which asset is the missile icon, but it should be possible all you have to do is create a png or dds square with the word missile in it, add it to the library xml and replace the path to the icon in the macro file of the missile "ship".
Love the icons but some ships are showing with the wrong icon or not showing on the map at all (other than their shield/hull bars). Most of the time this happens with Xenon ships but I've noticed this happening for other factions as well. Meant to put this in the bugs
Works with 6.20 alright. I particularly like the M and S icons (differenciating gunboats and corvettes is what is the most useful for me, for now). The choice to empty the Xenon and Khaa'k ships of color is not so good though, IMO. The lines making the ships frame are not displayed homogeneously so a swarm looks like a pile of many broken sticks. Edit: Only Khaa'k ships are 'color empty', actually.
Suggestion: Since the mods that are announced in the download page to be required for this mod to work are not needed, you should remove them from there and put the info that this mod is compatible with them in the description page. As it is, it is confusing! When I saw the "requirements", I passed my way, then I came back and read the posts. I am sure that quite a few people don't bother to check the details in the posts page...
The empty Khaak icons bug is actually a feature. When I tested the icon I saw that the Khaak were displayed messily and I liked it since it make canonical sense that your ship can't make sense of them. The Khaak and Xenon ship icon being hard to read is a design decision.
Again, real improvement from the unimaginative Egosoft icons! Everyone should try this mod.
Just to say: - The Irukandji is a scout but its icon is the one of a fighter. - The Cormorant (MIN) is the only ship with a special icon meant to show it is a Transporter/Fighter. Wouldn't it be appropriate to give the same icon to the Prometheus (BUC), which is the best Transporter/Fighter of the game? A small suggestion: Wouldn't it be better if the triangle pointy side was directed towards the bow of the ship? It would suggest more intuitively that it is a fighter type of ship.
I'll see for the Irukandji, if I remember well the Boron ship are kinda multi-role, but maybe I forgot to change the icon for vanilla. I kept the Prometheus normal because it is a smuggling ship. And the triangle being inverted is for better recognition. Two triangles in the same direction are hard to tell apart, and being inverted makes the icon more spiky=dangerous.
Hi, thanks for your work, I love it but there is en inconvenient problem. The non-steam-dependency version shows some icon as rectangles (spear of the Patriach gamestart). The dependency version does not, "it just works", but it messes the Extensions list a lot.
Is there any chance you could review the the non-steam-dependency version?
I'll check this out, I'm in the process of starting a new game and updating the mod. Edit: There's a problem with the way the new version of the game loads my textures, I'm investigating the packed version on steam seems to not have that problem.
I'll try to update my mods in the next 3 weeks now that VRO is released. In theory, the mod shouldn't mess up any save, but I haven't tested with the latest version.

Anyway, it is a fine mod. Thank you, Grandsome.

It just a List of Compatible Mods that can benefited from this Mod
BUT i got a Strange Behavior from Workshop... And im sure its This Mod causeing it
My Problem: I had this mod and my other selected Mods from Nexus/Workshop and all fine.
Then i first time restart the game after change some setting and enable a Mod i restart again....
and now there is a Bunch of Out of Date Workshop Mods that not is Subcripted with Message "Workshop Update needed"
First i dont notice the Mod and thought it was a random bug or Issue....
No its literally all Mods that you List in your Mod as Requirement.
Its looks like its all Dumbfiles cause they had all a 0.01 Version not Date and only the ws Id on it...
How do i prevent that Your Mods ads them there? im not sure what happen when i now delete those Placeholders and restart it...
I've all the DLCs, but not all the other mods.
Then I misunderstood!
I get this, if I download the mod.
