The mod has been working for me, but for 2 full playthroughs now, my game gets stuck at a certain point. Not 100% sure it has to do with the mod (maybe just a bug with the game itself), but I seem to get stuck at about the same point, when in Sept 2035 when the Avatar project *would be* at 10 pips. (I counted the facilities and any avatar progress updates together)
EDIT: And just as I posted this, I tried one final thing before restarting my campaign - which was temporarily switching the graphics over to Minimum (from High) and my resolution to potato-mode, and it fixed it. I'm a pleb. Also, don't know how to remove the post, but just know that with this fixed the mod has worked 100% fine for me.
Glad to hear it's working properly. I've done a test playthrough without any problems on a fresh reinstall because of everyone saying they can't get the mod working, and I honestly think they're having the same problem I had months ago with the base game, where mods I installed and then deactivated didn't completely go away.
I had to do a complete reinstall after deleting all trace of the game from my computer in order to fix that one, because I think the .ini files stayed changed somehow. I recommend anyone who can't get this mod to work (remember, this is the WotC version) to do that, if only to restore your game to its default state.
I've had a report that this mod does exactly the opposite of what I intended it to do, spamming Avatar progress at a rapid pace. I'm doing a fresh download and reinstall of the game so I can test, but in the meantime has anyone else encountered anything like this?
Is there any mode for deleting Avatar but in XCOM2 after WotC DLC? Like a can start 2 games XCOM2 and XCOM2 WotC. So is there any mod for the first pick? Or latest mod still works?
I'm sure people are gonna poo-poo this, but I like the idea of this mod. Creating a sort of "xcom sandbox" yeah? Why's the fun gotta eventually stop. I can dig it.
I recommend pairing this with a mod that slows down the force level increases or makes SITREPS more common; constantly fighting Sectopods gets old fast.
