i actually did make a Y4 version, but it's only been released in the Yakuza Modding Community discord since it's very unfinished and my motivation kinda died if demand is enough maybe i could keep working on it, but i've been kinda busy with school anyway
I know you said you were pretty much done with the mod but any chance you could increase the walking speed? Indoors disable running, which is quite frustrating given how slowly Kiryu walks. This is specially annoying during the hostess minigame. Either way; thanks for this great mod.
Can this mod be edited so that enemies are not nerfed and Kiryu does more damage and gains heat faster? There are too many files and I don't know if it's possible for any of those files to do those things.
I didn't make any drastic nerfs to enemies other than fixing unfair/unreasonable things like big wind-up attacks having no endlag at all and that sort of thing, but maybe I could do an add-on for the increased DMG and heat gain
hello i have a problem when doing running sequences where the camera keep bobbing front and back while running and kiryu's running was affect. What is the cause of this?
honestly no clue, i thought it was a problem with the animation but i edited it and it looks fine both in blender and Y5 (since I originally made it for that game, and animation files are cross compatible between 3, 4 and 5)
to fix it, go into the mod's motion folder, then delete p_dash.gmt from all the subfolders
Wait, what did the update change? and is the installation different this time instead of using the shin rrg mod manager? I ask because you state that you have to drag the game files into the game's directory for it to work.
oh, sorry, kinda pushed the update without giving it much thought no, you don't have to drag files to the game's directory anymore, you only install it to the mods folder and enable through SRMM changes are basically this:
fixed chase running distance so it matches 1:1 with Y3
made it possible to wall bound enemies with the grab combo like in Y5
gave mine and lau ka long's unarmed moveset smoother animations from Lost Judgment
I removed OgreCommander and the bonus running attack add-on, so the improved reversals from the showcase have been lost, but OgreCommander didn't work very well with SRMM anyway lol
oh ok, thanks for clarifying and that sounds cool about the mine and lau ka long moveset animations, can't wait to see them and luckily enough, Im about to fight lau ka long right about now.

Edit: I figured out why it wasn't working, I had only put additional health to load when booted up for some reason. It still works
