why does this mod feel more original than the game itself you got the whole 1988 styles and everything komaki isn't even a necessity anymore he can just move on with his self taught skills i salute you man this is a fine mod
The best way to fully enjoy this mod is to beat the normal game first and get all the skills of all styles and then install the mod, then the skill for the final fight with Majima will already be unlocked and the mod will only change it.
I've finished the first four chapters, but I can't feel much more variety in this mod than the base game. EXP gain is slow enough that I hardly have any additional options now than I did at the start of ch.2, Dragon style does as much damage as slapping a guy with a napkin, and Beast is too slow to have any use. In a street fight, Brawler has great damage and long stun; in a boss fight, Rush dodges their attacks and charges heat while doing it. For a bonus point, Majima isn't spawning, so I couldn't advance the Dragon tree even if I wanted to.Update: turns out I just misremembered how Majima Everywhere works.
It's been a few years since I played the game, and last time I played vanilla, but I don't remember it being this trivial. Pick Brawler, beat goon, pick Rush, beat boss, repeat.
Please tell me I'm doing something wrong, there's no way this is right…
Proving Grounds 8 is now nearly impossible complete to new changes and additions and Iron Fist Counter is broken - and functions most of the time like an I-Frame taunt.
I take it back, this mod sometimes straight up not functional, especially the Twist Counter for Brawler and Iron Fist Counter. Also 2 of Kiryu’s style switching voice lines are reversed.
could you tell me how did you fixed it oh nvm , i already know why now , cuz the data require some files (like 2dpar require ui_c.par and fighter require hact.chp,hactpre.chh)
