My mod that brings back almost every original Yakuza 2 music track, replacing Kiwami 2 versions.

Hi! I've made this mod in a couple of hours, cuz I was frustrated about the fact that we still don't have any good Classic Music Mod for Kiwami 2. I love OG2 OST, and i pretty much despise K2 version of these tracks. I've used almost every track from OG2 OST for this mod, not without surprises, however.

January 2024 update: All audio issues were fixed, and some new songs were added! This is probably the last version of this mod, unless something happens. Will update the "Y2 Only" file soon!

January 30 2024 update: okay, now THIS is the last one, + Y2 Only update.

Bad Fortune, Not So Bad - Bad Fortune Flower;

Rebellious Phase - Hit & Kill;

Battle Royale arena - Slyboots(also works with Esaki's first boss battle, just like in the OG game);

Update With Gunfire - Evil Itself (I needed some track in order to add to Hayashi's fight his iconic track, and since I despise Majima Saga, I've decided to use this track for this goal. So yeah, disable this mod when you want to play MS, if you don't want to hear "Evil Itself" there.)

One of the cutscenes in Chapter 5 of the main campaign now has Cutscene Version of "The Grudge" from Original Yakuza 2.

I can't replace "A Scattered, Eternal Moment", since its kinda hardcoded into the game, so deal with the fact that this track was unchanged. I don't think it's that big of a deal, since its one of the few GOOD tracks in the game, especially when you compare Kiwami 2 and OG2.

Also, before you ask as to why there are a bunch of Yakuza 3 tracks on the list, i'll answer this now: Original Yakuza 2 doesn't have that many tracks like Kiwami 2, so I've decided to pick some authentic music from 1,3 and one song from Kurohyou 2, so that new Kiwami 2 music doesn't contrast that much with original one in the same game. If you don't like this, you can download *NEW Y2 ONLY FILE*, where it's only Yakuza 2 replacements. Hope you understand.

For those playing the Japanese version, you should change the name of the "en" folder to "ja", so that Evil Itself appears in Hayashi's fight (thanks for the info mikefung2000)

Also, it's compatible with Licensed Music Patch, so I suggest that you download it as well.
