Good idea for a mod, but massive, no, MASSIVE L for not adapting it to SRMM and making people jump through million hoops to install it. Even instructions are unclear for someone who is not familiar with the tools
I can't add this mode. When I try to proceed with step 3 I have an error message that says that there isn't enough space in the directory folder. When I try to delete the original chara.par file to replace with the new one, it says I don't have the authorization. Even if I try to do that with administrator, the same message appears. I tired to change folder properties to let everyone modify the files, but nothing happens
i found a way to install this mod without the very vague description by using the Ryu Modmanager just search it on Google following those steps its pretty easy to install this mod and works on all Yakuza Games

I know that there's a mod for Ponytail Ichiban but that was just an outfit mod, not an entire mod thingy for Ichiban
I thought this shorter hairstyle is the punch perm? And the wild longer version is just some kind of afro perm...? Not sure what it would be called (the longer version). Could be wrong though... but based on what google says a punch perm is, I think it seems like this shorter one
