(A) Introduction
────────────────
This Japanese voice patch replaces the English voice files with the Japanese ones. It contains only audio files but to keep the risk of being warned or banned as minimal as possible, you should note the following while using this patch:

• Don't show your Duel Links, Steam or Google account information in videos or images that you publish.
• When you post anything regarding Duel Links mods, don't use your main Duel Links, Steam or Google account for that.

(B) Requirements for this patch

The English voice files are required for this patch. If you haven't downloaded them already, you can do so as follows:
1. Log in to the game.
2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner.
3. Click on the "Settings" button.
4. On the "General" tab scroll down to the bottom.
5. Click on "Change Settings".
6. If the white button below "VOX" doesn't say "English", click on it and choose "English".
7. Click on the "DOWNLOAD" button and let the game download the English voice files.

(C) Backing up the original files

0. This step is optional, but you have to re-download almost all game files if something goes wrong
1. Close the game if it's running.
2. Go to your Steam library
3. Right-click "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links"
4. Go to "Manage → Browse local files"
5. Open the folder "LocalData"
6. Inside that folder is another folder whose name varies for every account but it always has 8 alphanumeric characters, for example "123abc4d".
7. Select that folder by clicking on it.
8. Make a copy of the folder by pressing [Ctrl] + [C] and afterwards [Ctrl] + [V] on your keyboard and let the process finish.
9. After that you should see the original folder and a copy of it.

(D) Installing the Japanese voice patch:

01. Close the game if it's running.
02. Open the folder "Japanese voice files" from this 7z archive.
03. Select all folders by pressing [Ctrl] + [A] on your keyboard.
04. Copy the selected folders to the clipboard by pressing [Ctrl] + [C].
05. Go to your Steam library
06. Right-click "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links"
07. Go to "Manage → Browse local files"
08. Open the folder "LocalData"
09. Inside that folder is another folder whose name varies for every account but it always has 8 alphanumeric characters, for example "123abc4d", open it.
10. Paste the folders from the clipboard by pressing [Ctrl] + [V].
11. Choose the option to overwrite/replace all files.

(E) Uninstall:
──────────────
0. These steps can only be performed if you made the backup described in section (C), else you have to re-download all game files by clicking "Data Redownload" on the title screen.
1. Close the game if it's running.
2. Go to your Steam library
3. Right-click "Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links"
4. Go to "Manage → Browse local files"
5. Open the folder "LocalData"
6. Inside that folder is another folder whose name varies for every account but it always has 8 alphanumeric characters, for example "123abc4d".
7. Select that folder by clicking on it.
8. Delete the selected folder by pressing [Del] and confirm.
9. Rename the copy of that folder to its original name by doing the following:
a) Click on the folder
b) Press [F2] on your keyboard
c) Delete every character in the folder name except the original 8 characters.
