Before reporting issues, make sure that you run GMLoader without any mods loaded, if it loads fine then it's not a GMLoader issue. Also make sure that you're recompiling from the backup.win to ensure that you're recompiling from vanilla data.

When you start GMLoader, it says "Error, game data hash does not match supportedDataHash. If not, the Modloader hash data is out of date and you need to wait for an update. If you are using MO2, check your overwrite folder and delete data.win if it exists." and the game won't start.
the game recently updated to version 1.12.3 and now gmodloader shows an error about game data hash not being equal to supportedDataHash, reinstalled the game several times and still shows the same error
Not sure if it's because I'm using "Hardlink Deployment" but the GMLoader tool button when used from vortex doesn't work, but manually running it from the game folder does.
I am having the same issue, I have a 100% fresh game install and this was the first thing I downloaded. I ran the game once before downloading & installing the mod but the tool button doesn't work for me either. All things considered though its not a big deal at all for me and launching via game folder like you said works perfectly fine.
Hi Senjay, tried installing Escape from Zakov and dependencies entirely via Vortex but the resulting game had no changes after loading in and when I check the modding menu it shows this:
The automatic installation in Vortex is not working properly The Button in the Dashboard is created but doesn't work, have reinstalled the mode at least 10 times with the same result
Only the manual installation works, the bad side is that i lose the cute cat icon.
I've pushed an update to the vortex extension to fix this, should be in effect tomorrow. I'd assume this is caused by some api changes on the vortex itself because previously it worked fine.
Most say use manual installation or other installations because Vortex isn't supported, and rarely the best option. Its not the modders being assholes, its simply them letting you know that you didn't follow instructions and you're using the wrong tool for the wrong game/mod. (A hammer doesn't work for every job, you don't use Vortex tool for every game.)
This is to emphasize how Senjay deserves double the appreciation for going the extra mile to support Vortex's extension. Not to demand it from modders, and attack the ones who don't/can't go that unnecessary extra mile because of Vortex.
This isn't saying /you/ are attacking anyone, this is to clarify why they tell you sometimes to manual install, and why other vortex users behaviors are unacceptable with how they treat modders.
If you read the Description Carefully, you will see that Vortex it's fully supported, the issue was on the Nexus side i never blamed the author. The only point where the post recommends installing the tool manually is when using MO2, for Vortex the manual installation is never even mentioned
I know that Vortex is not an omnipotent mod manager, HOWEVER it's really powerful and will work on most games with the use of the extensions. I know that supporting mod managers it's not an easy task, i never said that, i was just reporting a genuine issue with a feature that is featured by the author him self.

Not entirely sure if it is related to that automatic installation with Vortex issue mentioned below, hope you could advice, I appreciate it
Edit: I ran the GMLoader tool in the game file and it worked. All is good, thanks!
pero como hago si quiero eliminar un mod?

All mods disabled when doing the testing BTW

Thanks for reporting.
Really appreciate the effort

I really don't see a point to your comment
