Fixing Flickering Issue in Assassin’s Creed II
Step 1: Add a Launch Parameter
Open Ubisoft Connect.
Go to Properties of the game.
In the Launch Arguments section, add:
-windowed
Save the changes.
Step 2: Modify Compatibility Settings
Navigate to the game's installation folder.
Right-click AssassinsCreedII.exe, then select Properties.
Go to the Compatibility tab and check:
✅ Disable fullscreen optimizations
✅ Run this program as an administrator
For AssassinsCreedIIGame.exe, only check:
✅ Disable fullscreen optimizations
Apply the changes and close the window.
Step 3: Install DXVK (Version 1.3.3)
Download DXVK v1.3.3.
Open the archive and go to the x32 folder (since the game is 32-bit).
Copy dxgi.dll and d3d11.dll from the x32 folder.
Paste them into the game’s installation directory (E:/Jeux Ubisoft/Assassin's Creed II).
Step 4: Relaunch the Game
After applying these changes, restart the game.
The flickering issue should now be gone! 🎉
