Man , I like this mod very much. But so many spells need concentration ... it is a bit clumsy. Then people have to pick a most useful one , and waste so many other interesting spells. Such like : +1d4 melee dmg , or attack advantage Same price , and almost everytime I would choose the 2nd one ..
Hate to be making a duplicate report, but the double resource patches (both the normal and compatibility framework version) are not working in their current state.
Been a longtime fan of this mod, and I want to say that I think it's incredibly well designed (barring the duration of some buffs/debuffs). I just like to be doing my psychic shenanigans more often without full-on cheating with the god mode patch.
Good day. Could you please tell me if it's just me having an issue with the Psychic Double? It appears with an appearance different from my character's, and on top of that, the additional abilities of the double, like teleportation and swapping places, don't show up.
Having a small bug with Temperance card using Clairvoyant subclass, basically the Temperance didn't worked at all, I used on my sorcerer and made it cast spell but the spells still costed spell slot ! Btw the Clairvoyant subclass is giga cool ! I just wish there was more way to deal damage using cards :(
I assume you're talking about the Archwizard card? It works just like Freecast does, and it's been working for me with spell slots on a current playthrough so that's odd. Glad you're enjoying the subclass though! I made the class to be mainly a buffer/debuffer so that's why there's only one damaging card, unless you count the various damage buffs you can hand out.
Yeah the Archwizard card, maybe it simply doesn't work with modded spell ? Because I used "Ignite" a modded lv 1 spell and I still lost a spell slot. Yeah the subclass is dope as fock, I reaaaaaally wish there was more damage tho. Its sad it doesn't have a special discipline mixing some heal card & damage cards in it.
hello! i have gale respec'd to clairvoyant and its very fun, i just have one question. are the card abilities supposed to appear on the hotbar for use? i am using the 'better hotbar' mod by caites, so maybe that's why, but the cards aren't appearing there for me and i'm having to open the journal every turn to drag it down from his spells list. just a small issue, mod is great otherwise! ty!
Yes, they're supposed to show up on the temporary tab. Better Hotbar 2 requires you to move all the shutters all the way to the left to access it, so that's why you're not seeing them. Personally I use Vova's version which doesn't have this issue, and has other cool features, I'd definitely recommend it.

i´m noting some inconsistencies regarding the order of the ascetic's psionic fist. Let me know if you want this to be reported as a bug.
EDIT: just to add that any weapon that is a monk weapon is behaving the same way, i.e. it´s always Dex that is being used.
Found a page where this subclass has been adapted so that psionic fists use either Dex or Int which feels much more in line with a subclass that relies on intelligence, so i´m wondering if if ever considered changing psionic fists like this? Regarding the ingame behavior, the description says it takes the higher of either Str or Dex but that is not happening. When Str is higher it still chooses Dex. Here's an example:

Order of the Ascetic used to scale with INT, but I changed it recently for a few reasons. It was very misunderstood and I got way too many bug reports about it, and also it's probably more balanced this way (it's basically college of dance now). Now as to why exactly you're seeing these inconsistencies I'm not sure, since the class works exactly like monk in regards to unarmed damage and monk weapons.
I've recently downloaded your expansion for the mystic class and i'd like to share my idea for a specific spell that i feel is kindof a net negative currently. I'm talking about borrowed time here being a net -2 bonus action whenever you use it. maybe making it a free action to cast or last 2 turn could help lessen the quite frankly massive downside of ever using it since as it stand it would be bad to use even if it didn't cost any psionic point.
unless I'm misunderstanding the use of the spell and it was meant to be used on ennemies to cause them to go lethargic on their next turn
Honestly I disagree. Overall, Mastery of Time is easily the best discipline, and Borrowed Time is very good if you have someone who can take advantage of it. Haste also has other bonuses like increased movement speed and AC. I should mention that I'm not taking into consideration Potion of Speed because honestly, for how strong of a consumable it is, it's way too readily available.
Clocking in yet another report that the Double Resources add-on does not work. I've tried the compatibility framework version and it doesn't work -- the normal version did not work for a friend, either.
I have compatibility framework installed. It isn't working, lots of other people seem to be reporting the same, one seemed to identify that the script somewhere is targeting a UUID that the current version of the mod does not have. Might be worth a look? I hate to say this and come off "ah yes, it does not work. I will now proceed to give you no details." But I'm not sure what I could give you?

Mystic does not seem to add intelligence modifier to their saving throws. only proficiency and item bonuses? and some of them having wildly different saving throws over all, such as one ability having a DC of 12, and another of 14?

Been a longtime fan of this mod, and I want to say that I think it's incredibly well designed (barring the duration of some buffs/debuffs). I just like to be doing my psychic shenanigans more often without full-on cheating with the god mode patch.

Yeah the subclass is dope as fock, I reaaaaaally wish there was more damage tho.
Its sad it doesn't have a special discipline mixing some heal card & damage cards in it.
i´m noting some inconsistencies regarding the order of the ascetic's psionic fist. Let me know if you want this to be reported as a bug.
EDIT: just to add that any weapon that is a monk weapon is behaving the same way, i.e. it´s always Dex that is being used.
Found a page where this subclass has been adapted so that psionic fists use either Dex or Int which feels much more in line with a subclass that relies on intelligence, so i´m wondering if if ever considered changing psionic fists like this? Otherwise they are pretty much normal fists?

Regarding the ingame behavior, the description says it takes the higher of either Str or Dex but that is not happening. When Str is higher it still chooses Dex. Here's an example:

Now after increasing Str, no change to the melee attack, it should be 1d6+8
unless I'm misunderstanding the use of the spell and it was meant to be used on ennemies to cause them to go lethargic on their next turn
I have compatibility framework installed. It isn't working, lots of other people seem to be reporting the same, one seemed to identify that the script somewhere is targeting a UUID that the current version of the mod does not have. Might be worth a look? I hate to say this and come off "ah yes, it does not work. I will now proceed to give you no details." But I'm not sure what I could give you?
I'd try to present more right away if I knew of any material that would be of help.
