What do you mean why? The is 2gb so it takes quite a bit for it to load. To someone who just wants to use the weapons i imagine that gets quite tedious
There are no vibrations when deflecting bolts in slow mo or when using the perk that slow time automatically right before you get attacked (perk applies to blaster bolts aswell) hope you implement it in your future updates..
Also, will you ever update the Force Sensitive mod? There are no good force power mods for U1.0.
- A Jedi like force push/repulse (without the purple gravity fx and appropriate sounds. Luke's force push sound effect from Battlefront 2 would be perfect)
I couldn’t seem to find an answer to this in the FAQ. Everything in the mod appears as “unknown” to me. The category is there, it just appears as unknown and a question mark, so I can’t open it. Any help?
I'm sorry I did my best searching all the keywords individually and looking through pages but cannot find another person having this issue.
I can transfer all files over to my son's Meta Quest 2 except for one: theouterrim_maps_mos_eisley_scenes_all.bundle
That particular file simply will not transfer over. It gets a little more than halfway through on the progress bar, and then pauses, and then stops. There's no error message or any logs as this is purely a transfer issue.
I tried renaming the file temporarily, but it still will not transfer. I tried changing the extension to something that would be completely unknown (.bund2, as well as .123) and to one that would be known (.zip) and that didn't do the trick either. When I tried copying over as a zip, peculiarly, an error message DOES come up, but the message is something like "the device has stopped responding" despite me having just connected it for the umpteenth time.
I even tried copying the entire 2.2 GB zip file to the quest (success!) but then it won't let me extract it. I was able to get into the zip file and tried to copy/paste the one problem file to any spot outside of the zip file itself. No dice.
I had to enter developer mode just to have the device allow file transfer. Would developer mode somehow want to guard against this one specific file? That sounds unlikely.
Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks for any help!
EDIT: I should also mention that I tried to download the version of this mod compatible with the 0.11 version of the Blade and Sorcery game, and I changed B&S to that version. The same thing happened. It's just that one file and no matter how I try to get it over to the headset, it's like the headset simply doesn't want any part of it. I did google "single file will not copy to meta quest 2 from PC" but all those results were for all files not copying, instead of a single specific one. I should also mention that I checked to make sure that specific file wasn't accidentally copy-protected or anything like that. It has the same permissions as all other files of that type. I've rebooted the headset and PC several times. I've done all those usual things. I'm usually pretty good with this stuff but I'm stumped.
Well for starters this is a PCVR mod, not a Nomad mod. It is installed on a PC, not a Quest. It wouldn't have worked even if you could transfer the files.
So to be clear (and because again I'm doing this for my 10 year old Star Wars fan), there's no way he can play Outer Rim unless he does so while the VR headset is physically linked to a PC running the game, right?
(He's been saving up for a PC so we're good once that's set up, right?)
search for The Nomad Rim on nexusmods.com/bladeandsorcerynomad/mods then install something on mod.io called Nexus mods installer to then download the file and install it in game
Thanks guys! Yes I'm new to this and once Kingo64 mentioned PCVR, I looked everything up and got edumacated.
Anyhow, my kid has been saving up for a PC and we will be kicking in some money too. We will pick one out in a day or two, so something tells me he will be playing the PVCR version of the base game and then this mod on top of it because he really wants to see the SW characters and places. It seems the other one is simply Blade n Sorcery plus lightsabers so that won't scratch the itch quite the same way.

. But you could also give the option to let users upload proffie fonts for the sabers too. That would be even cooler!
just dont use them?

What can I say? I son has expensive tastes. Sigh!
