I like your mod but the AA is so horrible with your mod i actually prefer the blurrines from TAA. Is there anyway to make it better? Every edge looks aweful in the environment.
Seems like a lot of people are getting a crash in the hypogean gaol, Im having the same crash in Yahar'gul when fighting the 3 hunters, is the same map, I dissabled this mod and no more crashes, does anyone know a fix to this ?
Textures were working fine up until I got to yahar'gul then it just crashes when trying to fight the any of the enemies near the hypogean gaol, also the blood is white sometimes
edit: after a little bit of testing it seems that some files in the map>m23 folder is causing the crashes when hitting an enemy
how do I open the reshade ingame? I've tried the home key/ home button on my controller but those don't open it. Is there a way to disable the DOF. I like my game to be clear in the distance.

I just downloaded the BB PC Remaster 0.89 update but my game is still showing all breakable assets in Old Yharnam as blue. Not a massive problem but does anyone know a fix?
I found the problem, the problem is in the m21_00_00_00.mcb.dx, m21_00_00_01.mcb.dx, m22_00_00_00.mcb.dx, m23_00_00_00.mcb.dx, m23_00_00_01.mcb.dx files, which is located in the mapstudio folder. This file just seems to be responsible for the bushes, you don't have to move it to the folder if you want textures without shaking the bushes.
Certain enemies in the Hypogean Gaol cause a crash to desktop when you hit them. Most simply: from the lantern, turn around and target the Snatcher walking down the stairs. Hit him 1-3 times and you should (fairly consistently) be able to cause the crash.
I'm on the latest version of this (0.89, installed exactly according to the directions) and ShadPS4 (2025-03-29 nightly). I have an AMD CPU and an nVidia 3080 GPU. I have a couple of other mods, but I disabled them one by one and this Remaster Project is the one that makes the difference between crashing and not crashing. I tried with both a Saw Cleaver with fire damage, and a Tonitis.
I second this issue. So far I put some 7+ hrs into the game and I'm noticing 2 patterns that crash the game: - after about 90-120min of playtime the game will likely crash (not sure why), this doesn't bother me - fighting Snatchers in Hypogean Gaol reliably crashes the game everytime, which is bothersome
Also mod version 0.89. Also AMD CPU here (Ryzen 5600)... with RTX 4080 (GeForce drivers 572.83). As for emulator I'm using shadPS4 0.7.1 nightly (37d4cd0), released 2025-04-11.

It's likely a shadPS4 issue related to Bloodborne SFX: https://github.com/shadps4-emu/shadPS4/issues/908 I tried some SFX fix mods (various versions, some were AMD-specific, some targeting Intel), like this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/bloodborne/mods/41 But unfortunately I didn't find a resolution.
So... to get around this, I just ran past all the Snatcher enemies and finally killed Darkbeast Paarl, which should hopefully eliminate much of future spawns of this monster.
me too, it looks empty when i press HOME in game and go to the menu. maybe we should be installing the other preset file that was included in here? help us fromsoftserve or somebody please
You have to move the .ini files and the reshade-shader folder into the shadps4 folder first and then do the steps described in step2 in the description tab. When installing reshade it will detect the effects and might ask for an update, do any of them.
When I do this, reshade defaults to a preset called 'BBFXAA' (or something like that), that I somehow cannot locate. I do know for certain that it doesn't set to that when this mod isn't installed, so it must be involved here somewhere. I then set it to the BBPreset installed with this mod. A little confusing

ReShade is getting installed correctly tho when starting the ReShade preset does not load properly, nothing is activated and configured.
