About this mod

A comprehensive overhaul for Dragon Age: Origins, enhancing visuals, textures, and models across the game. It revamps armors, outfits, and environments, while integrating assets from Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition to enrich the world of Ferelden.

Dragon Age: Evolved (DAE) is a comprehensive mod that enhances and diversifies the world of Dragon Age: Origins. This mod breathes new life into the game by improving and expanding upon existing assets, textures, and models, drawing from the richness of the Dragon Age franchise. With contributions from Dragon Age 2 and Inquisition.

-- Part 1--

  • All Carta thugs have the proper equipment from DA2.
  • Darkspawns are less saturated and darker, plus new models and eye textures.
  • New green tint for Juggernaut armor set.
  • Ancient Elven armor set is tintable and its tier scales based on player level.
  • Hirol Defense set from Awakening uses an unused dwarven armor, making it look way more dwarvish.
  • Sigrun's Legionnaire armor set has new looks.
  • All mercenaries and bandits wear the DAI mercenary + DA2 Raider helmet.
  • Pearl bouncers and female prostitutes have new gears.
  • Many warriors and soldiers have new equipment: Denerim guards and officers, Castle Cousland guards, Amaranthine guards, Vigil's keep soldiers and knights, King and Loghain troops at Ostagar, Redcliffe guards and knights.
  • New starter armor for human noble background (in your bedroom's chest at the night)
  • Tons of weapon ports and retextures from DA2 and DAI.
  • New skin tints for werewolves.
  • Upscaled and saturated terrain and vegetation textures to make the game more alive.
  • Little fixes including: Loghain armor at Ostagar, King Alistair armor at Vigil's keep, Restoring Greagoir's shield + Magic greatsword and Ornamental greatsword, King's tent guard morph at Bann loren lands, etc.
  • Few props retextures.
  • New shield heraldries from unused resources and DA2 (Carta, South Reach, Pearl, Chantry, Templar, Dragon Peak, Highever, Southern bann, Waking Sea).
  • Many weapons blades have been thinned.
  • Anders's new robe and staff from DA2.
  • Merrill's new robe and staff from DA2.
  • Ser Isaac armor from DA2 replacing human male/female Blood Dragon armor.
  • Isabela's clothes and hair from DA2.
  • New masks from DAV for Zathrian, Marethari and Lanaya.
  • New equipment for Elves from other installments.
  • New equipment for Dwarves from DAI.
  • New equipment for Chantry NPCs from DAI.
  • New equipment for Templars from DAI.
  • Original Templar armor has new stats, red skirt and is Tintable (in case you wanna make a new item out of it) 
  • Inquisition Dragon armor for kolgrim and weapons for all the cultists, plus a new helmet from DAV. (Weapons are in a chest in the room before meeting Kolgrim, see screenshots) 
  • Stone Golem head for Shale.
  • New equipment for Deshyrs.
  • Rylock's new armor from DAI.
  • Set of new armor and shield for Teagan. 
  • new morph and clothes for Rica.
  • Guardian of the sacred ashes new morph and equipment.
  • Shabrytol Armors from DAI (looted from a sarcophagus in Dead Trenches, right before Broodmother).
  • New unique equipment for Proving fighters.
  • Robes of possession is replaced by Flemeth's robes from DA2. 
  • Genlock alpha helmet for all races, lootable from Branka.
  • DAV dagger model for Dumat Spine and Claw (Dumat spine is now dagger)
  • Some DAV ports.
  • Three new armor stands inside Redcliffe castle armory, dropping Ceremonial, Chevalier and Commander plate sets.
  • Venture, Fleet Feet, Barbed fists and Helm of Dragon's Peak have same appearance and tier to make them look more like a set as you progress through Awakening story.

  • Guards helmet has been changed to be full face.
  • Templar sword has proper model.
  • Shabrytol armors shoulder pads have been fixed.
  • Female elf warrior armor now correctly gets the NPCs skin tint
  • Jarvia bodyguards now have proper gears.
  • Many new/missing NPCs now have new gears (Mainly Fort Drakon, Mage background, Companion's Fade nightmares and Blood Mage hideout).
  • Tried my best to fix the Yellow line appearing on some areas terrain textures. (still could be more)
  • New unique dress for Anora.
  • New unique dress for Baroness.
  • New set of armors and staves for Blood Mages. (Human only)
  • New unique armor for Devera. (the female elf slaver)
  • New unique robe for sister Leliana.
  • New Light/Heavy/Mage armors and weapons for Qunari NPCs. (might add some for Sten in next update)
  • New unique armor for Riordan
  • New noble clothes for Cousland mother and Woolsey.
  • Teagan's unique armor has been completely changed.
  • New Ferelden knight armor has been added.
  • New armors and weapons for Crow assassins from DAV, Zevran and Teliesen.
  • New armor and weapons for Tevinter slavers, plus a new boss (not super easy, you have been warned :P)
  • New Tranquil tattoo has been added to all of them.
  • New robe for Uldred and Harrowing chamber.

-- Part 3--
  • More NPCs have been covered which were missed out in previous parts.
  • Many ports from previous parts have been retextured and now use proper tints.
  • Female Dwarf armors now have shorter arms and use Dwarf Proportions fix mod, you need to have that mod.
  • Blood Dragon Armor is now completely replaced by Ser Isaac's armor for all races/genders, with new stats. (Plus proper description and name for - all languages)
  • Party camp has been revamped, so you "should" not face any issues anymore while romancing Morrigan.
  • Many level layouts have been changes to make the game more vivid and fresh, no more vanilla depressing sun :P
  • Clam shell is now a complete 4 piece set, all buyable from Herren.
  • Golem Shell is now a complete 4 piece set. all pieces will be added to your inventory by completing Golem's Might quest.
  • Chantry robes now have white and red color palette just like DAI.
  • Ostagar soldiers now wear Fereldan Armors from DAI instead of DA2 armors.
  • New unique battledress for Arl Howe in Denerim.
  • New Unique armor for Duncan.
  • Pirate clothes for Ruffians in Pearl and other Pirates.
  • Unique set of equipment for BlackStone mercenaries.
  • Unique set of equipment for White Falcon mercenaries.
  • Urn cultists armor now matches their helmet.
  • New unique armor for Urn assassins.
  • Retexture of cultists' weapons from copper to golden.
  • New surfacer armor, buyable from Janar in Orzammar. (male dwarf only)
  • Amaranthine guards have been revamped.
  • Alchemist clothes for Dworkin at Vigil Keep.
  • New unique armors for Bhelen and Harrowmont, both obtainable at the end of Paragon of her kind when you choose either side. (male dwarf only) (kill Bhelen to get his, and choose Bhelen and execute Harrowmont to get his armors)
  • New unique armor for Arl Eamon.
  • New Quiver model.
  • New Elven Sentinel set of armors and weapons for all classes, lootable in both Origins and Witch hunt Cadash Thaig. search for its chest at the end of every area. (male elf only) 
  • New unique clothes for Genitivi.

  • River Dane armor now is a complete 4 piece set, and has new Orlesian appearance, based on its history and description.
  • New unique arms for Marjolaine.
  • Alienage elves and peasants have new dress from DAI.

  • Three new sets of armor for Sten: Starting set (Lothering > chest and bandit camp), Heavy set (Lake Calenhad docks > Qunari corpse) and Champion set (by completing Proving after dark side quest)
  • New armor, gloves and boots for Urn Guardian to match his helmet. plus a new Battleaxe from Veilguard.
  • New mage robe for Lanaya.
  • New Dalish weaponry.
  • Orlesian armor for Fade Blackmarsh guards.
  • New staff for Flemeth + replacing Flemeth's Broomstick staff in Awakening.
  • New Avvar daggers, same models from Jaws of Hakkon DLC.
  • New unique outfits for Bards.

INSTALLATION:
1. If you previously installed version 1.0, completely uninstall it first.
2. Extract the folder from the archives and place it in your [USER]\Documents\Bioware\Dragon Age\packages\core\override directory.
NOTE: At the end you should have only one "zzzz_Dragon age Evolved" folder, do not make the mod parts separate.


UNINSTALLATION:
I tried my best to make this mod as modular as possible, so if you don't like any part of the content, you can delete its corresponding folder and there "should" be no problem. 
for complete uninstallation simply delete the "zzzz_Dragon Age Evolved" folder from you override.
