About this mod

(DLC compatible) Free access to every item for quick build making. Like Grand Merchant, but no merging necessary to use with other mods.

Changelogs
This is an alternative to the Grand Merchant mod that doesn't contain any files that require merging or unpacking. Compatible with ELDEN RING version 1.16 downloaded through Steam.

  • Compatible with other mods without merging anything - just install a single DLL file
  • Accessible even if Kalé is dead - he will be temporarily revived and non-hostile while the mod is active
  • Auto-upgrade weapons - weapons are upgraded to the highest level you've already attained on a given character, so no need to run back and forth between Hewg and Kalé (optional - can be disabled via config file)
  • Supports all languages supported by the vanilla game. Some languages have partial English text - let me know if you'd like to contribute to or fix a localization.

Mods that add new items, such as weapons and armor in The Convergence and ELDEN RING Reforged, will also have these new items available in the appropriate shop menus.

Items from the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion are available under the "Browse Inventory" > "DLC Items" submenu. You can avoid this menu if you'd like to avoid spoilers or don't own the DLC.

Installation (Option #1 - ModEngine2)

  • Download the latest version of ModEngine2 and extract it somewhere.
  • Download the mod and extract ermerchant.dll and ermerchant.ini into the ModEngine-2.1.0.0-win64 folder (see screenshot below)
  • Open config_eldenring.toml in Notepad and look for the line starting with "external_dlls = ...". Add the mod to the list:
        external_dlls = [
        "ermerchant.dll",
        ]

    If you're using multiple DLLs, make sure they're separated by commas. For example:
        external_dlls = [
            "ertransmogrify.dll",

            "ermerchant.dll",

        ]
  • Double-click launchmod_eldenring.bat to start the game.

To add other mods, follow their instructions to add them to your ModEngine2. For example, other DLL mods like Seamless Coop can be added to the "external_dlls" section in the same way.

Installation (Option #2 - Elden Mod Loader)

If you can't get ModEngine2 to work or don't care about the additional features, you can also run the mod with Elden Mod Loader. (I don't use personally use this method, so I can't provide support for it).

  • Install Elden Mod Loader according to the instructions in the linked Nexus page.
  • Extract ermerchant.dll and ermerchant.ini into the ELDEN RING > mods folder.
  • Launch the game normally.

Installation (With The Convergence)

To use this with The Convergence mod:

  • Extract ermerchant.dll and ermerchant.ini into the ConvergenceER folder (the same folder that contains config_eldenring.toml)
  • Open config_eldenring.toml in Notepad and look for the line starting with "external_dlls = ...". Add the mod to the list:
        external_dlls = [
            "SeamlessCoop/ersc.dll",
            "Convergence/ertransmogrify.dll",
            "Convergence/ErdTools.dll",
            "Convergence/eldenring_alt_saves.dll",
            "Convergence/Scripts-Data-Exposer-FS.dll",

            "ermerchant.dll",
        ]
  • Double-click Start_Convergence.bat to start the game
NOTE: This isn't an official addon for The Convergence - please don't report issues to the convergence developers and community.

Installation (With ELDEN RING: Reforged)

To use this with ERR, follow this process for adding DLL mods instead.

  • Extract ermerchant.dll and ermerchant.ini into the dll > active folder
  • Double-click Launch ELDEN RING Reforged to start the game.
NOTE: This isn't an official addon for ELDEN RING: Reforged - please don't report issues to the reforged developers and community.

Speak with Kalé in the Church of Elleh (Kalé is always alive and non-hostile while the mod is loaded).

Choose the "Browse Inventory" option, and browse the available item types. You can buy any item for 0 runes, and auto unlock all gestures.

Alternatively, choose "Browse Cut Content" to obtain items that aren't normally available in the game. Note that going online with cut content may result in a ban.
