Some crashes have been reported when used with the Camera Offset mod. Let me know if any other mods seem incompatible with this one.
FAQ How can I use this mod without being banned? ModEngine2 automatically launches offline, so you don't need to do anything special to avoid being banned while using the mod.
If you plan on going back online, the usual warning is that anything under "Browse cut content" will result in bans. If you don't own the DLC, the "DLC Items" menu should also be avoided.
This is not my own personal research, and I don't know FromSoft's internal policies, so I'm not able to look into more specific questions about how to avoid bans. If you care about playing online, please exercise extra caution with anything that seems like it would be flagged. How can I use this with Seamless Co-op? Follow this guide.
Does this work with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC? Yes - DLC items are listed in a separate "DLC Items" submenu, in case you'd like to avoid item name spoilers.
Why isn't the new menu option showing up? Make sure you installed it exactly as shown in the mod description. Check that the file is in the correct folder, and config_eldenring.toml is edited exactly as described.
When I click run ModEngine2, the game doesn't start Some common problems with ModEngine2 are solved by moving the game to the C:\ drive, or running it as an administrator. I haven't personally run into these issues using ModEngine2, and won't be able to provide generic troubleshooting advice beyond this.
You can also try installing the mod with Elden Mod Loader, which I don't use but works better for some people.
Can I access the mod if I killed or aggroed Kalé? UPDATE: Kalé is always alive and non-hostile in the latest version of the mod, so the shop is accessible even if you killed him. If you disable the mod, Kalé will return to whatever state you left him in.
Why can't I sell items back to merchants? UPDATE: In the latest version of the mod, items can be sold back to merchants again.
Why are weapons upgraded? Can I buy unupgraded weapons? Weapons purchased from Kalé are auto-upgraded by default to the highest level you've already acquired. So, a fresh character would get unupgraded weapons, while an endgame character who already has a +25 weapon would just get fully upgraded weapons to save time.
If you want weapons to be sold unupgraded, edit the included ermerchant.ini in Notepad, and change auto_upgrade_weapons = true to auto_upgrade_weapons = false.
Another issue is occurring (e.g. missing text or icons, items not appearing in the shop, DLC content not working, etc...) If you're using other mods, try running without any mods enabled to see which one is the issue. Many other mods haven't been updated yet for the latest patch, and this can interfere with merchant items showing up.
Thanks for this mod, you have no idea how grateful i am for it.
There was this one armor (can't remember the name now) that i've wanted since release but it was blocked from me because it was located in one of the endgame areas and my gamer skills and reflexes are getting too rusty with age to even hope to survive the trip to get there.
Now i can finally attain it and i do not even care that i'll get it through more or less irregular means. Now that i'm going down this path i might as well mod the game to Hell and also add the mod to make Elden Ring easier as a way to raise my gnarled middle fingers to FromSoftware and their obstinacy to not add difficulty settings themselves.
This is caused by a different mod that isn't updated for the latest patch, most likely one containing a regulation.bin file. Try disabling or upgrading any other mods, and verifying local files in Steam.
As far as I can remember, there was an older version which you have mentioned before, that the sell price from player to NPC will be set to 0 as well, which may result the player can no longer sell items. But the newer version which you updated in September seemed removed this debuff and players can sell items normally.
Yep. Changing the sell price of items to 0 both prevented selling back to merchants, and prevented Seamless Co-op invasions because of the new anti-cheat. In the latest version of the mod, I now patch the game code that looks up item prices for shops instead of actually changing the data for each item
1st time i used this mod + mod loader all wapens was +25 then i created new char and all weapons was +0 ======= i deleted all chars, reinstall mod (2 dlls in mod folder), checked that uprgade items = true, BUT all weapons +0 again new char/reintall mod dont help. I tryed upgrade = false, then upgrade = true.. Same issue, all itemsin shop +0
Tried this mod, bought everything except cut content, went back into steam version with eac to play online, no problems. this is the mod i was looking for, absolute perfecton, comes with literally everything in the base game and the dlc, better than the grand merchant mod. I feel sorry for everyone who paid money from silent's services or other boosting services for runes, or other droppable items when you can literally safely get this mod to do all of that.
How is it possible? For example, if I start new character, get weapons and stuff needed for planned build, get stones to upgrade and then go back online (with mod removed etc), how is it not flagged? I mean, starting new character with everything in inventory while the world is not discovered looks... shady to me. Maybe I'm misunderstanding but this prevents me from using any mod, which is pity but I don't want to lose my account and I like playing online.
I've used mules in fromsoft games, I used them in ds1 and ds2 and I used merchant in ds3, fromsoft's ban system is very flawed, I literally had all the items from the beginning of the game, everything was 99 and nothing happened, and in the Elden Ring is no different, I think they make the system bad like that so they don't end up giving unfair bans,I've been using mules and that kind of thing for 1 year, and no softban or anything like that, I use mods to make invasions faster, I use a mod in ds2 to make the invasion item infinite, and I can play with friends who have never used mods nothing, absolutely nothing happened to me, don't worry, if you use it correctly and without removing removed items you are safe from bans
as long as you don't buy the cut content items and quest items you won't get flagged, quest items include the non activated great runes, or everything at the bottom of the millaneous items, you'll know if its a quest item if you can only hold 1/1. but you'll be fine because some quest items like the keys to gates will be fine, i just chose not to risk it, so i can safely say this is 100% safe as long as you know what to grab for your characters, you can get all the bell bearings too and be fine, but if you give them to the twin maiden youll be locked out of many quests
Love this mod, not working with ERR at the moment, i'd imagine its from their changing of the dialogue menus with Kale to add pledged merchants as a secondary inventory.
Sorry, this isn't enough info to guess what's wrong. Check out the pinned post for troubleshooting tips, and details to include if you're still having issues

Maybe i'll at last finish this game now.
I started with modding a few days agao and all goes well and the mod works very good.
Now Comes the but...
When i add the quest mod in the .toml the mod dont works.
Both mods seperatly works very well.
Is there a rule wich .DLL must load 1st?

Perfect mod now, thanks for the great effort!
then i created new char and all weapons was +0

new char/reintall mod dont help. I tryed upgrade = false, then upgrade = true.. Same issue, all itemsin shop +0
If you want all weapons to be fully upgraded, just buy one full set of somber stones and upgrade a single weapon at Hewg before going back to Kalé
.the only ever mod I got was "runes from kills x200".
and I don't know how to add a URL for a screenshot.
