Elden Ring - Remove Soft Caps
This mod will remove all Soft Caps to the main stats of the game, providing a somewhat linear increase in damage (catalysts included), HP, FP, and Stamina.What's a Soft Cap?
Soft Caps determine the reduction of growth of a stat the more you level it up, with various thresholds.
For example, Vigor provides a big increase of HP all the way to 40, then it gives you less HP up to 60 Vigor, and then very few HP from 60 to 99 Vigor. In this example, 40 and 60 are the soft caps, the threshold at which the increase is reduced.
What does this mod do?
This mod removes the aforementioned limitations, providing you with the same amount of Damage Increase/HP/FP/Stamina by leveling up the stats all the way to 99.
A list of changes can also be seen by looking at the graphs in the pictures section of the mod. As you can see, it gets linear, and you earn more per level. For comparison.
Overall, it's now worth it to level up Vigor, Endurance, Mind, Strength, and Dexterity all the way to 99.
How to install
Make sure to install ModEngine2 properly, then drop the regulation.bin file into the mod folder of ModEngine2.
How to merge with other mods
You can use Smithbox to import the .csv file provided in the optional files section to merge.
