About this mod

This is a car pack that adds extra cars to your game.

Permissions and credits
INSTALLATION Make sure you have 2014 build (v1.2) from steam installed first. You'll have to re-install the mod if you switch to 2014 build after installing the mod.

Drop these files into your game folder:
  • selo_1.7.bfs                                                (the mod archive)
  • patch                                                           (the file that makes the game load the archive)
  • FlatOut2.exe                                               (stock drm-free exe incase you don't have it)
  • FlatOut2_selo_1.5.6_gcp.dll                      (plugin for several features such as online avatar selections and so on)
  • winmm.dll                                                   (hook for the plugin)
  • xnya_modloader.toml                                (configurator of the hook)

When prompted to replace "patch" by windows, press replace the file in the destination.

Make sure you delete or move your entire savegame folder before launching the game with the mod installed first as you are likely to experience problems with career and grapichal options.

EVERY file in the mod is required for the mod to function. Including the provided exe and the dll.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!! winmm.dll file that comes with zpatch is not cross compatible with this dll. while installing zpatch do not copy the winmm.dll file provided in zpatch's zip.

1.5.6 changelog:
  • All 46 of Ultimate Carnage vehicles have been added to the pack.
  • 17 new skins for the evo 6 by multiple creators have been added to the pack.
  • 11 new Flatout AI portraits by twobei have replaced some of the uglier ones in the selection.
  • All UC cars have their custom co-responding classes assigned for the ai to drive with you. So when you pick an UC vehicle, so does the ai.
  • An optional folder has been added to zip for adding in UC ai when you please to do so.
  • Some renaming has been done to previously ported UC cars to alleviate confusion.
  • DLL has been updated.

1.5.3 chagelog:

  • Deleted truckernaut, c6r, fo1 roadking csl, fo1 trasher gt, splitter st/gtr, nucleon sport2, bullet gtx/dtx/ltx
  • Deleted fo1 steering in light of making use of old custom cars. now ctrx, madrash lmp1, speedevil wb and scorpion wfc have this same steering behaviour instead and are reclassed as bonus cars instead of legacy
  • Trivial fixes to vanilla and fo1 cars such as grille of the pepper, frame rail of the road king etc.
  • Reclassed vehicles across all the tiers. D, C, B and A should be more balanced now
  • Missing people added to credits
  • Some older skins that were cut due to skin limit of 7 have been added back with popular demand
  • Buick's nitro acceleration has been nerfed. it still has double the tank capacity but the acceleration is cut down.
  • Fiat x1/9 has been buffed, might be subject to further changes depending on the crowd consensus
  • Some fo1 car's nitro have been nerfed to fit their tiers.

1.5.2 changelog:

  • An updated car selector by @:) Smiley, you now enter a sub-menu when you wanna select the skin after the car, there are also now car descriptions, car authors, skin name and skin authors
  • The limit to car skins have been increased to 64 per vehicle, thanks to smiley
  • You can now change your radar color in multiplayer by smiley
  • Avatars are avaible as if you were an ai player in single race, they also show up in career selection as well as your color does by smiley
  • The list that appears ingame when you press "L" has been updated a bit and it appears automatically. Redder the color is, lower their health by smiley

  • Pipe has been fixed big thanks to @⠋Sewer56⣠ for the fix. he increased the lua memory pool from 3mb to 9mb, the fix goes into the exe
  • You are also now supposed to be able to insall add-on skins without breaking multiplayer compability for the rest of the people with my mod, you'll have to ask me later to explain and add a folder for it in the zip
  • Upscaled hud alphanumerics by @mutis and also upscaled radar blips found in the gamefiles
  • emoji chat, check mp pin for what they are
