I've tried to follow the instructions to see if this mod works and so far I haven't found any proof that it does idk maybe I'm just slow but I"ve followed the instructions and still nothing yet
this still works. just the link they have gives the wrong file. get it from here instead https://github.com/UE4SS-RE/RE-UE4SS/releases/tag/experimental after that just look for the most recent one download it then just follow the rest of the guide as stated, works great!
Does anyone have a video on how to install this mod. I have followed the instructions to a T and the mod menu still doesn't pop up when I press F2. I've tried to look back at past comments but none are helpful because all they say is "You didn't install it properly" or "try reinstalling it" Please if anyone could give me a hand I would appreciate it.
Has anyone got any success on the Steam Deck? After following the instructions to the tee and installed the Premium Costumes here, UI listed as "None". Did the exact same step on Windows 10 and works perfectly. Replacer models works, so I know modding is possible on the Steam Deck.
UE4SS: UE4SS_v3.0.1-173-gd1a5478, grabbed from directly linked as the Requirements ReGLAMOUR: v0.6.2 Original Costumes for ReGLAMOUR: 1.0 Game Version: 1.04
It doesn't work for me either. the old version of the program worked on Steamos , after updating to version 0.6, there is one "none" option in the selection list
I can get the menu open for Reglamour open on the Steam Deck, but get the 'None' option in the UI. So I can only assume UE4SS works on Steam Deck aside from that. I tried switching to the version of UE4SS on github and nothing would come up even after hitting F2.
@Koenji Seems like unofficial support for Steam OS. Searching online and some reddit threads, people had some success w Palworld. It comes to using the non-experimental UE4SS 3.0, do some renaming (UE4SS.dll to msacm32.dll) then Game Launch Options command added:
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="msacm32.dll=n,b" %command%
But didn't work (Error was something of like UE4SS.dll not found, paraphasing). :( So deadend there from me.
@LePandaMoostache Just for the heck of it I tried that command but instead putting in UE4SS.dll. That still didn't have anything show up in the Reglamour UI.
umpdc.dll is not loaded on steamos/proton/wine I have tried messing with the proton emulated windows filesystem on steamos, but didn't manage to make it work, I tried asking on the steam deck's discord, but they don't seem to have gotten far as I, you could probably get it working by manually injecting umpdc.dll per launch, but never looked into how to do it on linux since processes work differently and it's running in a sandboxed environment
I'm so curious as to why it no longer works. I had it running with ReGlamour 0.5.1 and older Lollipop game versions. But for some reason it has stopped when using 0.6.2 which makes me feel like something important must have changed there. Maybe even as simple as needing to use a specific GE Proton version. Really hope this can eventually be fixed as I liked using the old DLC costumes a lot.
Koenji wanted to add json support and he asked for my help, as such, I devised the umpdc.dll for the latest version, which will parse all the json files instead of using a preset list like the older versions
Is it possible that moving the umpdc.dll file into UE4SS and loading it from within there could resolve the issue for deck users in an updated reglamour version? Just curious personally since this seems like a super useful update for costume creators and I wouldn't want that to be lost.
use ultimate asi loader (I have it as dsound.dll), rename umpdc.dll to reglamour.asi and place it inside the plugins folder (create if missing), try it out and let me know
you may also need: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dsound.dll=n,b" %command%
I downloaded Ultimate-ASI-Loader from ThirteenAG's github. Not the x86 version. I renamed it like you said and dropped it into the binaries folder. Then I made a folder called plugins and renamed and moved umpdc into that. I added the launch command but still no dice. Maybe I moved something into the wrong folder or downloaded the wrong file. I had no idea what I was doing this time tbh.
I've eventually got it working by combining LePandaMoostache and HAWGTs steps with a bit more trial and error, after following all the normal install instructions I then had to:
Create a copy of UE4SS.dll in the same location as the original and rename that to msacm32.dll Download Ultimate ASI Loader and place that in the Win64 directory Create a copy of UMPDC.dll under Win64/plugins/ and rename it to reglamour.asi Set launch option to WINEDLLOVERRIDES="msacm32.dll=n,b" %command% Set DLL Override for dsound.dll through protontricks (may instead be able to use the launch option WINEDLLOVERRIDES="msacm32.dll,dsound.dll=n,b" %command% but I've not tried it)
I also moved any mods in the ~mods folder to LogicMods, but not sure if that was needed Was going back and forth for a while so hopefully I haven't forgotten any steps but can a least confirm it is possible to get it working and able to change costumes with GE-Proton9-21
hello. just want to check. launch game option to WINEDLLOVERRIDES="msacm32.dll=n,b" %command% and msacm32.dll in the directory lollipop/Binaries/Win64/ue4ss, NOT in the Win64 folder (where the exe file is located)?
To confirm your steps: 1. Install ReGlamour based on ReGlamour guide 2. Create a copy of UE4SS.dll in Win64/ue4ss and rename as msacm32.dll 3. Download Ultimate ASI Loader from your link to Win64/ 4. Override dsound library in protontricks to native first 5. Create a copy of UMPDC.dll to Win64/plugins/ and rename it to reglamour.asi 6. Set launch option to WINEDLLOVERRIDES="msacm32.dll=n,b" %command% 7. Set game compatibility to GE-Proton9-21.
This should make it so that the selection list will show more than the "none" option?
That's the steps I followed, but adding a costume to lollipop/Content/Paks (and json to Reglamour) does not do anything. Would appreciate your confirmation of the steps you took, thanks.
Edit: If I move contents of ue4ss directory to Win64/, and move msacm32.dll to Win64/ I get a fatal crash.
Hello. Would it be possible to have controller support? Not necessarily to summon the interface, but for navigating it to choose the outfit.
Also, I don't know if this would be fixable in the mod itself, but it seems to clash with Windows dark mode. I use it, and the drop-down menu from the mod is black text over a dark grey background, so it is really hard to read the name of the costumes.
Could something similar be done for Ninja Gaiden 2 Black? It uses UE5.. That way if modders create the variation costumes from NG2OG, NGS2 or DOA We could enable them from the re-glamour menu..
It doesn't work, No problem, I think I know what's going on. Check if you have 2 Mods folders in the Paks folder, You only need "LogicMods", move the mods you have in ~mods to LogicMods and try again, Regards (n_n)y
Try to do a "Clean" and Updated installation of the game, then follow the Mods installation step by step, first "UE4SS Experimental Version" then "ReGlamour" followed by "Lollipop Chainsaw Premium Costumes" and finally the mods you had in ~mods (preferably do not put Costumes that are not from ReGlaour") finally check that you do not have the ~mods folder Only "LogicMods" and that's it
Finally, if you still have problems, check your video card driver. The "Latest Version" is not always the best. NVidia has problems with Windows transparency, which is why I use an older version (I only skipped 2 updates that did not work well).
P.S.: Does anyone know how to enable HDR without it being disabled? In GameUserSettings.ini I set "bUseHDRDisplayOutput=True" but when I restart the game it changes to "bUseHDRDisplayOutput=False" I have an HDR+ monitor.

Does UE4SS in general work for Steam Deck?

To confirm your steps:
1. Install ReGlamour based on ReGlamour guide
