Overview:
Kaidan Gay Romance Restored is a mod for Mass Effect 3 Legendary Edition designed to enrich the romance storyline between male Shepard and Kaidan. It restores unvoiced dialogue, adjusts animations, and extends romance scenes.

Unvoiced lines have been voiced by splicing existing voice assets, allowing Kaidan to acknowledge the romance carried over from Mass Effect 1.
- Extended Romance Scenes:
Several intimate moments have been expanded by tweaking existing animations.

Compatibility:
-This mod only supports the English voice-over version of the game.
-This mod is for male Shepard romancing Kaidan. If you're playing as femShep or romancing someone else, you might want to turn this mod off.
-Since this mod focuses on specific romance scenes, it may conflict with other mods altering the same sequences. However, as the plot changes are minimal, you can enable or disable this mod at any time.
-To ensure compatibility, install other mods first, then this mod.
- Possible Conflicts:
-Goodbye Scene (Male Shepard): Conflict with mods like Gay Garrus (LE3) or Kelly Returns — they won't appear as your love interest if this mod is active.
-Casino Entrance: If you use mods like Miranda Mod (LE) and want Miranda to accompany you to the casino, temporarily disable this mod. (Poly-Romance Mod has modified both scenes.)
-Optional Flirting Mod: This mod overrides some non-flirt dialogue options from the Optional Flirting Mod for Kaidan and Ashley.
- Compatible Mods:
- Native compatible with LE3 Community Patch.
- Compatible with Kaidan Alenko Overhaul (LE3).
- Compatible with Virmire Savior Mod (LE3) — though due to a lack of saves, I haven't fully tested this. Let me know if you encounter any issues.

- Compatible with Project Variety (LE3).
Known Issues:
- This mod hasn't been tested with female Shepard, but there shouldn't be any technical issues in theory.

1. Shepard's unvoiced lines during the hospital visit scene have been voiced by splicing existing voice assets. (Due to my limited personal capacity, the cheat-related lines remain unvoiced.)
2. Kaidan now acknowledges your ME1 romance in both the Citadel date and the final kiss scene.
Here's a list of adjusted lines:
1. "Kaidan? Oh god, it's hard seeing you like this."
→ "Hey, Kaidan. It's Shepard. Scared me pretty bad back there on Mars."
2. "And I care about what happens to you."
→ "And I care a lot about you."
3. "Later? We need to get back to the Normandy ASAP."
→ "Really? Let's get back to the Normandy ASAP."
4. "I will never forget that first night we bunked together."
→ "The first night — one I'll never forget."
5. "You mean a lot to me, Kaidan. I love you."
→ "Kaidan, it's always been you. I love you."
6. "I'd like to, but my heart wouldn't be in it."
→ "I’d like to be more, but I got a lot on my mind."
7. "Thank you... but don't go yet. Stay awhile."

- If you romanced Kaidan in ME1, Shepard will carry Kaidan in his arms.
2. Citadel Date Scene:
- Kaidan will kiss Shepard's hand after the confession if you romanced him in ME1. (There might be some clipping, choose the neutral option if you prefer the original scene.)
3. Casino Entrance (Citadel DLC):
- Shepard and Kaidan will walk arm-in-arm. (My tweaked version may look a little stiff due to my limited experience with animation, but if you'd prefer, you can choose the original female walking animation instead.)
4. Citadel Goodbye Scene (Citadel DLC):
- Kaidan will lean his head on Shepard's shoulder during the farewell.
5. Before Cronos Station:
- During the romance scene, you can switch positions based on your choice:
- Renegade option "You're an evil distraction": Kaidan will sit on Shepard's lap (with an abrupt position shift).
- Paragon option "I'm glad you're here": Shepard sits on Kaidan's lap instead.
