This mod still works with the Dragon's Gambit DLC installed...Without it loaded, I wasn't able to deploy the Centurion in the 2nd Campaign mission despite having the tonnage penalties turned off, but once I loaded this in, I'm able to deploy the Centurion!
Gotcha, yeah...Like I said, this mod seems to work & override that. It also seems to override a setting in the latest version of YAML where you can have restrictions on drop weight built into your Leopard, which you then have to earn upgrade points to bring back up to being able to drop all weight classes of Mechs.
Thank you for the excellent mod, as SteelPhoenix commented last year, it's the only mod I've found to be capable of removing Campaign scripted limits (At least with YAML's dropship upgrades feature disabled)
hate to tell you this but IT doesn't' work. i know it Should. BUT it doesn't work at all. I'm using yaml. yaw. yawc all together and i haven't adjusted NOTHING in the GAME. i turned the penalties like you said. to the value of "0" and no sauce boss. nothing. i go to deploy its telling me 3 of my mechs are "over tonnage" when they are not even Near over-tonnage. i have a 40Tonner that is exactly @ 40 Tons. lol and its telling me "over tonnage" like how is that even possible. and I'm very VERY Early in the game. I'm at the Very BEGINNING. i've used this MOD before. the DLC 6. 5. 4 was dropped and i had zero issues. even with Yaml. now. this IS thee ONLY Thing thats buggn out on me. Lol if you can ACTUALLY help, or give ideas. it would be greatly appreciated. it certainly would. cause ihave no idea why its doing this with me.
That's a YAML feature about your drop bay tonnage, not being overtonnage for the mission. This is a feature you can disable in YAML settings (somewhere?), but it's part of the dropship upgrade paths that you need to unlock better bays to drop heavier mechs.
ciao i see that u Last updated on 20 1 2023 . got these mods installed and active on last version game fixed : YetAnotherMechlab, adv zoom , RemoveJumpShipAnimation, P8K_GotTheTime . will no tonnage limit work with that ? had PurchaseSalvage also but i removed cause i t gave problems . do u happen to know smt similar to PurchaseSalvage that will be ok for my mods set up ? This mod is mostly deprecated by the new custom difficulty options. You can just turn the over tonnage c-bill and salvage penalty multipliers to 0 without needing a mod. No clue if there's issues with purchase salvage currently.
I might sound crazy to you, but do you know if it's possible to LOWER the mission tonnage limits? I'm a glutton for punishment and I'm trying to add some challenge to the game. I have the editor but I'm not exactly sure how to make this happen and I was wondering if someone with experience might be able to guide me. Or if there's a mod that has this ability, I'd download it for sure!
There's a function library called MW5Tonnage Access that you'll have to override with a mod. There's a function in there that is used to figure out the mission tonnage limit. You could do some math in there to reduce the cap. Something like that, as I recall.
On v1.1.338, a friend and I were using this mod and we got the LowLevelFatalError [1308] issue. I saw this mod was last updated on January 19th, but there have been patches for the game since then, so maybe they broke this mod?
Make sure you have the latest version of the mod. It was updated for the last game update that came out with DLC 4. There are some compatibility issue with purchase salvage and some others that can cause issues.
Not sure if this is known conflict - but after updating to 1.1.338, and with conflict with 'Purchase Salvage', I'm receiving the overtonnage penalties now :( I prefer this to Max Tonnage since I want to see what the games expected tonnage is instead of 400 but maybe this mod doesn't combo well anymore.

Does this remove the tonnage limit on restricted tonnage missions? Those are the worse and I'm tried of being forced into their stupid "stealth missions" or whatever BS when I just want to destroy stuff.
