If you ask me a question answered in the description I will give you a condescending answer. I'd say "you've been warned" but if it got to that point you wouldn't have read this either so.... (Hey! A free condescending example!) (Sorry, nothing personal. Nexus users and their general ability to not read have broken me, and I don't deal well with customer service roles and people asking stupid obvious questions.)
Vortex is not supported. If it works for you, great. If not, oh well. I package all my mods with `modinfo.ini` files setup for FMM and in many cases to list as sub-menus. Vortex doesn't like the sub-menus. Either way, I don't use Vortex and am not going out of my way to reinvent everything just for it.
For anyone who can't uninstall, this is what worked for me. I only used the armor mod, and turning it off in Fluffy Mod Manager didn't remove it from the game. I also had to go into the game directory, sort by date modified, and delete all of the "re_chunk_000.pak.sub_000.pak.patch_xxx" files that were created when I activated the mod. Launch the game and material requirements should be back.
I don't know if this has happened to anyone yet, but if the game doesn't load because REFramawork is not loading after turning off the mod in Fluffy Manager, I had to delete it from the mod folder, and it worked.
Will my account get flagged or banned if I craft items that arent out yet? this mod shows me armor sets that are supposed to be coming out with the upcoming events
I'd say, to be safe, when playing in multiplayer with randoms, don't use the stuff that is not out yet. The ban can happen when people report you, so if you don't display it on multi you should be fine, capcom doesn't use these kind of detectors so you won't have any issue as long as people does not report you ^^
For some reason this mod conflicts with other mods. i've updated all my mods, any mod thats outdated and old ive removed. Max sharpness, talismans skill max, shop tweaks all updated. they work fine with no errors but when i turn this one on it gives me all errors
So it's my second time using this mod, I used it first to get a piece of equipment from and event quest I missed and it worked fine, I wanted to use it again now to get another, but for some reason I got a lot of sets that disappeared entirely from the list of the smithy... I precise that I do have up to date REFramework and the updated version on your mod so I'm quite lost on why it does that right now :/ I tried entirely removing the mod files and putting them back properly but I still have that issue
Update : Okay so, I had already crafted the Zoh Shia and Mizu sets, now everytime I try to load the equipment sets I made using these, my game crashes down, they are part of what do not appear in the smithy when the mod is active, so I guess it's related. Though it does that only for the armors, the weapons are still showing as well as the palico armors. Really weird, still trying to figure this out but I think I'll just delete it entirely, too bad for the piece I missed but I don't want to break my game
I should have foreseen that since the code looks innocent enough that it shouldn't cause any problem. It was some loose files that handle skills under "natives" folder that was crashing the game.
@Synthlight I have honestly no idea of what is causing this. From your reply I tried again with all the files cleared and only your mod on, and I still got the same issue, with still latest REFramework version, enabled loose files as well as pristine clean files... So no idea why it breaks my game, but I won't push my luck :/
I downloaded the updated mod, but it hasn't worked since the update — it says there's a corrupted file. Is there a solution for this, or do I have to wait for a patch update? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kagDdScwe2bZlj0OjjHHTycpQ2otyFfk/view?usp=sharing
Thank you for the quick update.I'm Japanese, so I don't understand English. However, I wanted to express my respect for your excellent response, so I translated it using Google. Thank you very much. I look forward to working with you in the future.
I got a weird issue that I am unsure how to fix. I got the update, then placed it in the fluffy mod manager. Before this I had the mod turned off. I confirmed that the mod was off and not working when I was in the game and it was looking like its normal vanilla self with materials and such being required. But when I went to turn on the updated mod I got this error message in the bottom. "pak mods can currently only be installed as one pak at a time with no other modded game assets". I then did the steps you listed to clear out the game and still the same error. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Same thing. I hope this is not a dumb question and I am sorry if it is.
Edit: I fixed it. Holy crap I feel dumb. I had to delete the old version of the mod then the new one popped up. I noticed the version number in the mod manager did not match the one on the site so I deleted it and it got replaced with the working one. Sorry for wasting your time and brain cells lol
