Nice wee mod! My pet peeve is free house mods without the player needing to do anything to earn them, so I'm glad to see another fellow free-house-hater 😅 The ESP needs cleaning with Tes3cmd (or similar cleaning tool, like Enchanted Editor), as there's a handful of junk cells and two duplicate records. Also I'd recommend not including the version number in the ESP name, as that can make updating the mod as a player annoying when the version numbers change 🙂 Best to just keep the ESP name the same with each new version
Thank you for your suggestions! I have cleaned using Tes3cmd, and renamed it to just 'Thurndal' to simplify updating the mod as mentioned. Unsure if I will actually make a new version besides this 2.2 update, but useful still for future projects.
I like the new addition of a quest. The dungeon is really nicely laid out. Straight away this feels more organic and integrated into the game and something would likely keep even if didn't use the house just for the quest addition.

Something I learnt from my most recent playthrough is that if you have the master polypron index (official plugins), you can go to Andasreth and levitate quickly over the mountain to the house. So you can go essentially from any Mages Guild to the house without needing a boat.

- secluded
- lore-friendly (!)
- spacious, yet not too large (no giant OP castle or cave like so many other mods)
- nice mixture of storage units
