Version 7.8
- TTW Hotfix for 7.8 to add No LOD Water flag to The Strip World.
- TTW: Addressed some inconsistencies and brightness issues with Operation Anchorage weathers and increased frequency of snow.
- Some adjustments to Lonesome Road weathers. I know they're still not perfect, hopefully someday I'll have the time to really work on them.
- Increased Tint Alpha for FriendOfTheNight IMODs to increase brightness of nightvision.
- Resaved scripts to fix possible issues coming from previous updates.
- Changed the upper layer of clouds on FalloutWeather2 to make it slightly less drab.
-
Version 7.7
- Removed rednightvisionscript due to conflict with b42 optics. The fixes for this script are included in YUP and YUPTTW anyway.
- Added missing override file for BSA.
- New Sunrise/Sunset for TTW weathers - more greenish and Atmospheric.
- Point Lookout weathers minor tweaks including thicker fog and dimmer daytime lighting.
- Sunset/Sunrise tint adjusted for NV Wasteland weathers.
- TTW Sunset/Sunrise cloudy weather tint modified.
- Increased sunlight dimmer for the Strip Night IMOD.
- Honest Hearts contrast flag in imagespace removed, increased sunlight dimmer.
- Reduced chances of foggy/rainy/overcast weathers in the Mojave.
-
Version 7.6
- Reduced bloom a bit at night in Mojave.
- Adjusted Strip Horizon glow coloring to blend better with the sky. Now also edits Sky Lower to simulate more natural light pollution across the sky. If you hated the Horizon Glow before it may be worth trying again.
- Adjusted timing of Strip Night brightness and bloom modifier to start and end exactly when the streetlights go on and off.
- The Strip Night brightness boost is primarily more influenced by scripted edits to ambient coloring now for a more Natural (Desert Natural ha ha LOL) look.
- Added scripted brightness boost to night ambient coloring in urban areas at night to make them feel more lively and lit up.
- Fixed errors with Night Sandstorm switcher script for NV version that weren't present in the TTW version.
-
Version 7.5
- Further adjusted nights for NV and TTW so they aren't so crushingly dark via raising Ambient values in the weather records and raising Sunlight Mult and decreasing Fade Alpha in the config.
- Adjusted StripNight IMOD so the Strip has greater ground brightness.
- Capped Skin Dimmer to 1.00 via add in all IMODs so Skin Brightness isn't overly dark or bright depending on the weather/time/area etc. (Credit to FireKahuna of Neutral Weathers)
- Integrated some of the texture fixes done by FireKahuna for Neutral Weathers. Fixes include noise reduction, removal of color artifacts, normalizing highlights/bright spots, and alpha channel adjustments.
- Updated Performance Textures Mid/Max files for 7.5.
-
Version 7.4.5
- This update is more of a hotfix, sorry for back to back updates.
- Adjusted Strip Night IMOD to account for changes to night brightness in the last few versions.
- Edited the Strip Horizon Glow script to fix issues that sometimes happened when the option for it was turned off in the INI.
- Fixed conflicts with Strip Lights Region Fix. That mod is still not a requirement and the conflict fixes will not affect those who don't use it. I recommend everyone use it regardless.
- Made Cloudy Weather night tint a bit more greenish blue to make cloudy nights more distinct and to fit better with the daytime tint.
-
Version 7.4
- Adjusted fog coloring on CloudyWeather1, CloudyWeather2, CloudyWeather3, CloudyWeather4 and their TTW equaivalents to blend better with horizon.
- Added new horizon clouds to CloudyWeather2 and CloudyWeather3 and their TTW equivalents.
- Adjusted cloud choices on RadiatedWeather5, NVJacobstownWeather2, DNBlackMountainWeather3, DLC04PointLookoutMarshRain, NVDLC03BigMTWeather3
- Raised night sunlight values for the Mojave and TTW in config a bit.
- Fixed rain script sometimes causing issues where there would be no visual rain (despite rain sounds continuing) when loading a save where a rainy weather was active.
- Added a new alternative stars and sunglare texture for some DLCs (mainly Honest Hearts, OWB and Point Lookout).
- Reduced resolution of some effect textures that were unnecessarily large.
- Adjusted Mojave sunrise sky and fog coloring a bit.
- Redid sunsets for TTW again because I felt like the new ones I did for version 7.2 weren't very fitting.
- Redid sunset and sunrise for Colorado River weathers.
- Various other minor fixes and improvements.
- Updated Performance Textures Full/Mid files for 7.4. Performance Textures Full renamed to Performance Textures Max.
- Redid the downscaling of textures for Performance Textures Max with a different resample method in Photoshop which should hopefully fix the cloud texture seams.
-
Version 7.3
- No longer replaces any Vanilla cloud textures except a couple from Honest Hearts and Lonesome Road - this won't affect any weathers edited by this mod, the textures are still there, just renamed. I plan to release a Vanilla Cloud Replacer mod eventually for anyone who liked the unintended feature of Vanilla weathers (which you'd only see if you use any mods that add new worldspaces) having new cloud textures.
- Added a new script that switches Ivanpah Dry Lake Dust Storm meshes at night so they that they use a different texture (fx_limestoneduststormnight.dds). This allows for more control over the visibility/look of dust storms at night while retaining the daytime style.
- Edited fx_limestoneduststormnight.dds to be more subtle.
- Edited Hidden Valley dust storm texture to be a bit more subtle (and brown rather than white).
- Reduce contrast at night in the Mojave and Capital Wasteland.
- Modified sunset/sunrise tint coloring and reduced sunrise saturation for Mojave weathers.
- Switched LR overcast cloud texture to be more faithful to Vanilla styling.
- Edited cloud choice on some weathers: dnblackmountain2, dlc04pointlookoutlighthousewthr, nvjacobstownweather3, nvdlc03bigmtweather3
- Increased night sunlight values in configs.
- Edited texture: aaurwlnvvarb6_layer00.dds
- Reduced sandstorm textures from 2K to 512.
- Updated Performance Textures Full/Mid files.
-
Version 7.2.5
- Adjusted Night Sunlight values so Neon Lights aren't blown out when using mods like Moonlight NVSE, High Resolution Bloom etc. (was mainly noticeable in Urban areas of the Mojave).
- Carried over some minor changes from the 7.2 update that were missing in the NV version but were present in the TTW version.
- Reduced Emmisive Mult in some ImageSpaces where needed.
- Increased OWB Night Ambient values a bit.
- Reduced Bloom (Blur Radius Add) in some Night IMODs to pre 7.2 values.
- Adjusted HH and OWB Ambient and Sunlight values to make lighting/coloring less dull.
- Adjusted Fog, Sky Coloring on some HH weathers.
- Adjusted Fog thickness for TTW Nights.
- Removed some unused records: nvhooverbattleweather, nvhooverdamweather, nvdlc04nukeweather.
- Reduced Fade Alpha intensity for Cloudy Weather Nights.
- Set Night Sun values to 0 where needed.
-
Version 7.2
- Important Note: Nights were Re-worked and will likely look TERRIBLE if you copy Night Sunlight values from an old config. If Nights in the Mojave appear Too Bright to you in this version, try changing the Night Sunlight values in the Config from 0.26 to 0.2. I reworked Nights in order to fix some longstanding issues.
- Nights will look a bit different with this update. I previously had Night Sunlight Color Values in the Weather Records really low, which made certain Glowing Objects (such as The Tops) appear Dim, washed out the overall image, and made the Night Sunlight Config option somewhat useless. Per advice from Doodlez, I raised the Night Sunlight Color Values to be similar to Vanilla and reduced the Ambient Coloring and Sunlight Dimmer to compensate for the increased brightness. I tried to get the overall Brightness to be close to how it was before, but Nights may be a little Brighter overall.
- Many Weathers and IMODs further Improved (where needed) via edits to Sunrise, Sunset, Day & Night Sky Coloring, Contrast, Night Lighting, Cloud Texture Choices, Cloud Coloring, Fog Coloring, Bloom Intensity, Grass Dimmer, Tint/Fade Intensity
- Daytime Sky Coloring adjusted: FalloutWeather10, RadiatedWeather5, FalloutWeather5, PleasantWeather6, FalloutWeather6, PleasantWeather2
- Edited cloud textures to Reduce Grain and/or Improve Visuals: b7_00.dds, cloudlesspano.dds, nv_sunglare.dds, sunglare.dds, test10.dds, test20.dds, FullskiesAltostratus0002_1_L.dds, HQ_Panorama_Sky_06, p17.dds, sky1.dds (transparency edited and duplicated as sky1_alt.dds for use in some weathers).
- Jacobstown Sunrise & Sunset re-worked and Sunlight values made less dull.
- Black Mountain Weathers Ambient and Sunlight Coloring tweaked to be less dull.
- Cloudy Weather Sunrises and Sunsets Redone: CloudyWeather1, CloudyWeather2, CloudyWeather3, CloudyWeather4, FalloutWeather5, FalloutWeather13, FalloutWeather2
- Rainy Weathers in the Mojave made more rare and "Volatility" of Climates reduced a bit so weather doesn't change as often.
- Reworked Saturation values in ImageSpaces & IMODs to be set by Mult rather than Add in order to fix the previously broken Saturation Boost option in the INI and allow for Saturation adjustment via custom ImageSpaces set for Worldspaces (Urban Areas and The Strip are a bit more colorful).
- Made nv_sunglare.dds and sunglare.dds textures DXT5 to potentially fix a rare crash.
- TTW: Point Lookout Nights modified to have a more cohesive and atmospheric look: Slight Overcast skies, Brighter and Less Contrasty Lighting, and Thicker Blended Fog.
- TTW Daytime Sky Coloring adjusted: TTWPleasantWeather3, TTWPleasantWeather1, TTWPleasantWeather2, TTWPleasantWeather5, TTWFalloutWeather3, TTWFalloutWeather7, TTWFalloutWeather8, TTWFalloutWeather9, TTWFalloutWeather10
- TTW: New Sunset Sky Coloring for Clear and Light Overcast Weathers.
- TTW Cloudy Weather Sunrises and Sunsets Redone: TTWCloudyWeather1, TTWCloudyWeather2, TTWCloudyWeather3, TTWCloudyWeather4, TTWFalloutWeather5, TTWFalloutWeather13, TTWFalloutWeather1
- Added Performance Textures Mid as a new option: Texture Resolutions unchanged but Uncompressed Textures re-saved with DXT5 compression. May give a mild performance boost with less Visual Degredation.
- Updated Performance Textures with fixes from 7.2 (renamed to Performance Textures Full).
-
Version 7.1
- Changed cloud choices on several weathers that had repetitive and/or grainy/ugly textures: CloudyWeather2, CloudyWeather4, DLC04PointLookoutLighthouseWthr, FalloutWeather10, FalloutWeather12, NVDLC02Weather3, PleasantWeather3, RadiatedWeather5, TTWCloudyWeather2, TTWCloudyWeather4, TTWFalloutWeather6, TTWFalloutWeather8, TTWPleasantWeather5
- Edited cloud textures to reduce grain and visual ugliness: test10.dds, test13.dds, fullskiesaltostratus0002_1_l.dds, fullskiesaltostratus0003_1_l.dds, fullskiescirrus0015_1_l.dds, p08.dds.
- Adjusted sky, fog, ambient, sun, and cloud coloring where needed on multiple weathers.
- Adjusted several of the main daytime and sunrise/sunset ImageSpace Modifiers for NV and TTW - bloom, brightness, tint, grass dimmer, contrast etc.
- Greatly increased Emissive Mult for most main ImageSpaces - windows, neon, lights etc. will be more bloomy and visible at night.
- Added the "Freeside" ImageSpace to other urban areas (slightly increases saturation and emmisive mult).
- Improved look of sunrise/sunset for cloudy weathers.
- Removed the rainy weather CloudyWeather2 from The Fort and Colorado River regions due to inconsistencies between Legion area worldspaces.
- Improved shuffle weathers script so that it won't force weathers that don't appear in region weather overrides.
- Updated Heat Haze formlist for accuracy with how weathers currently are set.
- Updated performance textures with fixes from 7.1.
- TTW Hotfix: Carried over small change from latest version of YUP TTW.
-
Version 7.0.1
- Fixed TTWFalloutWeather1 and NVDLC04HRWeatherClear pointing to cloud textures that didn't exist (thank you goshko88).
- Added small overhead moving clouds to FalloutWeather2 so it feels less flat.
- Made tint for NV cloudy weathers more blueish, less intense on the purple and adjusted some cloudy weather fog coloring slightly.
- Added cloudlesspano.dds to Tranquility Lane weather to reduce sky banding.
- Updated performance textures to fix an issue with a couple textures for heavy overcast weathers.
-
Version 7.0
- New region specific weathers for Black Mountain - 3 variations.
- Adjusted the clear Jacobstown weather and made another clear weather for Jacobstown.
- Slightly reduced "Fade" intensity in Sunrise and Sunset IMODs.
- Increased the Emmisive Mult for most main ImageSpaces.
- Further adjusted the night IMOD for The Strip (mainly bloom).
- Carried over a small change from the latest version of YUP NV for the NV file.
-
Version 6.9.1
- Brightened The strip much more
- Increased intensity of lights (Bright Scale) slightly
- Fixed TTW version config file - a lot of Mojave weathers were turned off on accident and daytime tint values were incorrect
- Performance Textures packed into a BSA like the main file. No changes were made to the textures themselves so if you don't mind the loose files from previous versions you don't need to update this.
-
Version 6.9
- Small Update With Minor Tweaks and Corrections I Had Mostly Finished a Month or Two Ago
- High Noon ambient lighting intensity reduced slightly and daytime ambient lighting values tweaked a bit where needed
- Daytime and High Noon sunlight coloring tweaked
- High Noon Sun color changed from White to Pale Yellow
- OWB Ambient made blueish instead of grey and High Noon Ambient intensity reduced
- Increased Brightness and Bloom a bit on The Strip at Night
- Tweaked bloom in some IMODs
- TTW: Tweaked Contrast and Lighting Intensity for Clear and Light Overcast TTW weathers
-
Version 6.8
- Set main worldspace water records for DN Weathers NV to Potomac instead of NVCleanWater (as used by TTW and still in DNW TTW) due to reports of visual weirdness and to maintain consistency with YUP NV/Vanilla.
- The Saturation Boost and Distant Blur features have been reworked to only run once on startup if used and should no longer hit performance. Previously they were set to run in game mode and constantly apply an IMOD. Now they make one time edits to already existing IMODS / ImageSpaces.
- Added check to the Snow Script to make sure it doesn't snow when in an interior.
- Slightly reduced sunglare intensity, but not as much as in the optional file "Reduce Sunglare Size".
- Changed Sierra Madre Grand Entrance patch to an ESP by Kiwi due to issues with the scriptrunner.
-
Version 6.7
- reduced volume for snow weather wind (Jacobstown and Anchorage)
- reduced high noon ambient brightness a bit
- reduced bloom slightly for daytime imods
- increased saturation a bit for main mojave & DC imagespaces
- increased contrast slightly for datytime imods
- improved cloud choices for cloudyweather2 and jacobstown snow weather
- add custom imagespace for Freeside areas
- updated downscaled textures for 6.7
- added climate setter ESP for those who still can't figure out how to set their load order
- moved More Visible Rain and Reduce Sunglare Scale files to the Optional Files FOMOD
- fixed missing edits to climate and imagespace for one of the TTW added worldspaces (the train station)
-
Version 6.6.6
- Adjusted daytime tint coloring for the Mojave and Capital Wastelands.
- Added config option to adjust daytime tint intensity.
- Improved Colorado River weathers fog coloring and tweaked the sunset sky coloring for them to match better with the daytime sky coloring.
- Adjusted brightness of Light Overcast and "East" daytime IMODs.
- TTW: Made the tint for heavy overcast weathers greenish instead of purple.
- Made it so the Distant Blur option won't trigger in Dead Money as it messed with performance there.
- Added missing edited Hidden Valley dust storm script which should fix issues with that area.
- Changed the version number to a Three 6 Mafia themed number: https://youtu.be/Qd176cCPJRs
-
Version 6.6
- Dead Money weathers redone based on weathers from This Corrosion - Sierra Mojave Redux: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/81453
- Dead money weathers in the main worldspaces have been made more consistent in style but with more cloud variation
- Carried over the toxic cloud script from This Corrosion - Sierra Mojave Redux which has improvements and doesn't force the Toxic Cloud Weather which messes up lighting temporarily when in the cloud
- Improved RadiatedWeather5 cloud choices and NVWastelandClearWindy cloud choices and lighting (this weather only plays when you leave Doc Mitchell's on a new game)
- Reduced chances a bit for some of the overcast weathers in the Mojave
- Adjusted nightvision IMODs to not have strong bloom (not sure why I had them like this) and changed the Cat-Eye IMOD to have a blue tint similar to Vanilla instead of yellow
- Edited the Hidden Valley sandstorm scripts (final time hopefully) to not force any weathers at all so weather isn't abruptly changed or glitchy - it seems to be that HVDustStorm weather being forced during the sandstorms is completely pointless
- Cleaned up config files a bit for readability
- Some other minor fixes and improvements
-
Version 6.5.3
- Edited the BOS bunker HVSandstormWeather to have the same lighting/style as other weathers so the transition in and out of the storm is seamless.
- Attempted fix for a reported issue regarding broken lighting near the BOS bunker. This could possibly be due to how I had the sandstorm scripts edited.
- Carried over changes from the DNW Strip Lights Region Fix patch under Vish's Patch Hub: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/77945. The region record used by Strip Lights Region Fix (Region 218) is unused in the Vanilla game so this will not have any negative effect if you don't use Strip Lights Region Fix. That patch is no longer needed.
-
Version 6.5.2
- Actually fixed snow script this time and marked it as a quest script as I had it as an object script for some reason (sorry for back to back updates)
- Redid an ugly weather (the one with the stringy furry type pano clouds and drab sky coloring (FalloutWeather4/TTWFalloutWeather4) to be cloudless except for small horizon clouds. Uses a texture with a subtle radial gradient in the pano layer to reduce banding a bit (idea by EliteBane/Texan).
- Updated performance textures again
-
Version 6.5.1
- Fixed snow script from spamming errors to falloutnv_error.txt and improved it.
-
Version 6.5
- anchorage snow, new jacobstown weathers with snow from DN Realism redux, improved LR weathers, improved strip horizon glow script, other minor fixes
- added the sandstorms placed on Route 15 from this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/78823
- Updated performance textures (no longer in a BSA), loose files - will overwrite the BSA as loose files take precedence over BSAs
- added some new cloud textures (little whispy type moving clouds that go over panoramic clouds) to make some weathers a bit less repetitive
-
Version 6.4.2
- Temporary fix for sound files packed incorrectly in the BSA which can cause them to not play, and according to Wall_SoGB crash the game with an upcoming update for Stewie's tweaks
-
Version 6.4.1
- Fixed the Horizon Glow script spamming the console, requires 6.4 main file
- Updated the 1k performance textures file for 6.4.1 and packed the files into a BSA
- Updated the modder's resource file with cloud/sky textures to resave them with mip-maps and include recent edits/improvements
- Added miscellaneous file More Noticeable Rain Texture for those who want more visible rainfall
-
Version 6.4
- Redid searchlight weathers and sunsets based on Desert Style Weathers take on them
- Resaved all textures with mip-maps (thanks Wall), adjusted a few textures, and included a couple edited textures (improve banding and close gaps) by Texan from Desert Natural Realism.
- Added a new INI option to increase bright scale for night IMODs to control light glow intensity.
- Moved main subtle light rays and beams to an optional file (but left edited meshes in that I would consider direct improvements like some effect meshes and interior meshes that are normally jank).
- Adjusted fog coloring for sunset, sunrise and daytime to blend better with the sky
- Incorporated the Desert Natural Realism redux adjustments to Legion battle weathers
- Incorporated the Desert Natural Realism redux strip nighttime horizon glow (can be turned off in the INI) and made the strip more vibrant at night
- pushed mojave fog back for most weathers (use dusty distance if you want closer fog)
- Fixed restore old ambient coloring file (in optional files FOMOD) thanks to AlienAtomz
-
Version 6.3.2
- Fixed some oversights that should have been included in 6.3.
- Added the NVDLC02RainQuest as an intentional ITM to both versions to ensure rain is able to function properly as some mods like TTW disable it.
- Fixed rain weathers not being set properly for Honest Hearts in the climate script and in region records which caused them to not show up most of the time.
- Reverted the water records set for the Honest Hearts worldspace to the default water HH records used in Vanilla. Previously I had set them to use NVCleanWater but I have realized that doing this causes odd LOD especially when not generating your own LOD.
- Added a check in the climate script to set weathers accordingly for The Fort (Caesar's tent) if the optional DNWNoRegionalWeather.esp is detected, and fixed the scripting for the weathers set previously for it.
- Bumped up night brightness a bit in the config file - if you want night brightness a little darker set the values under [Night] to the values I left in under default values.
- Adjusted the imagespace for The Strip to be more consistent with the rest of the Mojave.
- Did conflict with resolution with YUP for the NV version, and the latest TTW ESPs for the TTW version.
-
Version 6.3
- A lot of fixes and edits to visuals to make the overall look more consistent.
- Adjusted fog coloring, sky coloring, lighting, cloud choices etc. for most weathers to fix visual oddities and ugliness.
- New sunsets for the Mojave that are similar to RWL sunsets. Sunrises tweaked.
- DLC weathers improved in Honest Hearts, Dead Money, Lonesome Road and OWB.
- Fixed issues with rain visuals stopping when loading a save.
- Fixed overly bright days introduced in 6.2.5.
- TTW: Sunrises and Sunsets tweaked.
- TTW: Point Lookout weathers redone from scratch. Oversight in Anchorage weathers fixed. The Pitt lighting tweaked.
- Adjusted ImageSpaces and IMODs where needed to improve visuals.
- Added a Sierra Madre Grand Entrance ScriptRunner patch by A1ienAtomz and Seekker.
- Added back some cloud textures that were unintentionally removed in a previous update.
- Fixed climate in Caesar's tent.
- Adjusted Searchlight weathers.
- Fixed coloring and lighting of Tranquility lane.
-
Version 6.2.5
- Reduced saturation for sunrises and sunsets in the Mojave to make them look more natural and fit with the daytime coloring better (reduces sky banding as well).
- Fixed cloudy weathers for TTW being overly bright (unintentionally introduced in version 6.2). The NV and TTW cloudy weathers shared an ImageSpace adapter but tweaking it didn't work out well on the TTW side. I made a unique one now for the TTW weathers more similar to old one before 6.2 and it looks better.
- Fixed some issues with layout in the config files that would have caused some features and weathers to not toggle properly and improved their readability.
-
Version 6.2
- Included Anro's fixes for interior skies from Nevada skies for the Lonesome Road Collapsed Tunnel and Higg's Village in OWB.
- Adjusted ImageSpaces and IMODs for better lighting during daytime and sunset/sunrise for the Mojave.
- Removed the skin glare and sun glare "fixes" from the script and config as they just made things look weird.
- Fixed some inconsistent fog coloring and IMODs set for a few weathers.
- Packed the assets into a .bsa.
-
Version 6.1
- Changed sunrise sky coloring to be more vibrant and fitting with the coloring of daytime skies.
- Reduced bloom during sunset and sunrise for NV weathers.
- Improved the shuffle weathers script so it will shuffle through all available weathers (thank you Sweet6Shooter for the script). Previously it just called rcc/refreshcurrentclimate which only seems to shuffle between 5 or so weathers.
- Reduced the amount of days after starting a new game until cloudy/rainy weathers will show from 5 days to 3 days.
- Removed edits to rain activator records for better compatibility with rain mods like 3D Rain.
- HOTFIX: Fixed an oversight in the TTW version with rain Activators.
-
Version 6.0
- Improved the look of a majority of the basic weathers and for some DLC weathers that needed it - some only small changes, others adjusted more when needed.
- Improved fog brightness/coloring on weathers that needed it, and normalized fog coloring values for night.
- Changed the clouds on a few weathers that had questionable cloud textures (weird alpha or flatness).
- Redid the legion/cottonwood cove weathers to not be a weird constant pinkish red color. I gave them more of a light blue purple color (similar to colors seen in some vanilla weathers) so they will still look unique but not as harsh.
- Adjusted the size of the moon textures to 1k since having them at 2k is unecessary and because Wall bullied me about it twice.
- Adjusted some imagespaces and IMODs when needed to fix lighting issues/inconsistencies.
- Increased visibility of cloudy weathers and weathers during sunset that were overly dark.
- Reduced the intensity of the sky at night a bit.
- Removed edits to the interior rain sound for Honest Hearts because it was overly loud.
- TTW: adjusted the ambient coloring for daytime and adjusted night brightness.
-
Version 5.9.9
- Removed edits to vanilla lights and interior lighting templates for better compatibility with interior overhauls such as Atmospheric Lighting Tweaks
- As per WallSoGB's suggestion: heavy overcast / rain weathers won't appear on a new game for 4-5 days so when you exit Doc Mitchell's House or Vault 101 you aren't hit with immediate rain or darkness
- Fixed the vanilla ambient music for Honest Hearts (as seen in Altitude and Essential DLC Enhancements Merged) - I had integrated this in version 5.8, but I had missed it in one region
- Moved most of the unimportant optional files to a single file named Optional Files FOMOD Installer
-
Version 5.9.8
- Adjusted ImageSpaces so lights stand out more at night. Major thanks to Ronivader for the help with this!
- Restored bModWorldspaces option in the INI (not fully tested, still experimental).
- Added optional ESP to disable regional Legion weathers - the INI toggle for this last seen in 5.8.5 was poorly scripted and hits performance.
- Various fixes and improvements to the ESP, scripts, and config file.
- Removed some pointless records leftover in the ESP.
- Fixed minor oversights in a couple worldspace records.
- TTW: removed edits to the Pitt FX Emittance Weather.
-
Version 5.9.5
- Resaved some cloud textures that were improperly saved. Updated the performance textures to cover latest version.
- Increased skin dimmer in main imagespaces, fixed the strip imagespace having the skin dimmer set wrong.
- Reduced chance of rain and heavy overcast in the mojave.
- Increased pip-boy light fade value.
- Cleaned up INI file a bit.
- Fixed TTW version having a slightly darker heavy overcast weather sunlight value set in the INI compared to the NV version.
-
Version 5.9.1
- Minor fixes.
- TTW - Fixed one area having the wrong climate set, thanks hearsegirl for letting me know!
-
Version 5.9
- This version should hopefully resolve some lighting and performance issues people have been reporting.
- If any of the following changes are unappealing to you, and you have not noticed issues with version 5.8.5, then there is no need to update. I will be leaving it available under old versions.
- Worldspace edits to set the climate and imagespaces have been switched to hard edits instead of scripted in order to possibly fix issues with lighting breaking in certain conditions for some users. [Thank you Anro for the advice]
- For disabling/enabling weathers in the ini, the script no longer reads all the ini values every time a cell is entered. It only checks them on game load or loading a save, as reading from the ini is performance intensive. This should improve loading screen times, but if you disable a weather in game it won't be removed until a save is loaded. [Thank you Anro for the advice]
- Includes the changes from the former optional file that reduced the amount of edits to light sources, color changes for lights are still present. Their radii are same as Vanilla, as increasing it hits performance in certain areas.
- Removed the option in the ini that allows DN to take over the climates of mod added worldspaces.
- Removed the option to disable regioinal weathers in Legion territories.
- Fixed rainy weathers showing up in Caesar's tent.
-
Version 5.8.5
- Merged the main file and the update file to make things easier for future users. If you are already on 5.8.5 there is no need to update.
- Removed the SetWeatherTransitionTimeOverride line in the main script to potentially fix some visual issues in certain regions and DLCs. The transition times for main weathers should still be rather gradual.
- Fixed the NV version having an unnecessary override flag for weather in the Colorado River region.
- Set NV version WastelandNV worldspace to use NVCleanWater instead of Potomac, a fix present in TTW and the TTW version. Should fix some visual issues with the water in some areas.
- Fixed a small oversight with the IMODs in the TTW version for a couple Dead Money weathers.
- Set Honest Hearts to use NVCleanWater to reduce the effect of water glowing at night in Honest Hearts.
- Note: If you are still using the old version of Climate Control, replace it with Climate Control NVSE. It also has an optional file for longer weather transitions which should now be properly compatible.
-
Version 5.8
- Made Honest Hearts not have as much contrast, reduced saturation in HH slightly, and changed up the HH sky colors to not be so washed out.
- Made OWB a little less dim overall. Adjusted ambient coloring for the OWB weather and the imagespace used there.
- Made cloudy weathers not have as dim of ambient coloring values.
- Normalized loudness for thunder sounds.
- Made sunset horizon color a bit less intense of an orange, and made the upper and lower sky look a bit more natural.
- Attempt to reduce frequency of thunder sounds in cloudy weathers.
- Increased the scale of the atmosphere mesh a bit to potentially help a little with z-fighting with it clipping into mountains (vanilla issue).
- Adjusted nighttime IMODs a bit.
- Integrated the Zion Vanilla Ambient Music file from Altitude.
- Reluctantly zipped it up with 7zip (locked, IV'd, cracked) to reduce download size compared to the superior application known as WinRar (egged, keyed, ID'd). 7zip takes forever btw, download WinRar right now. Buy a license for it while you're at it as well.
-
Version 5.7.5
- Added config options to adjust the cloudy weather night time brightness and sunlight values.
-
Version 5.7
- Improved imagespaces and imagespace adaptors to improve the overall look. Cloudy, overcast, and sunny IMODs have all been improved.
- Adjusted nights to have more of a thick feel like earlier versions of this mod.
- Gave cloudy weathers a unique IMOD for night time.
- Lightened fog even more for most weathers, and adjusted fog distance on some weathers for some variation.
-
Version 5.6.5
- Added a new config option to make the default climate play in the Colorado River/Legion territories. Set bNoRegionalWeather = 1 if you want to remove the unique regional weathers in those areas.
- Fixed NV version not having a check for The Frontier when bModWorldspaces = 1 in the config file.
- Fixed NV version having CloudyWeather2 off by default in the config file.
-
Version 5.6
- Adjusted ambient coloring for most NV weathers. Reduces the overall intensity of the orange tint for sunny weathers, and light overcast weathers have a more neutral tone to them.
- Raised saturation in the imagespace adaptors for sunny weathers and light overcast.
- Increased sunlight intensity to compensate for new ambient color changes.
- Raised skin dimmer in the main imagespaces for mojave weathers.
- Fixed RadiatedWeather5 being unable to be toggled off with SHIFT + DELETE in game.
-
Version 5.5
- Removed Freesidelight under Lights and adjusted daytime imagespace adaptors to potentially fix the lighting issues some were having on buildings in Freeside. I wasn't able to reproduce it after these changes.
- Fixed the cell that was supposed to solve conflict with strip lights region fix. I had it as region 219, not 218 which it should be. I had previously had it 218 but switched it to 219 cause I thought it was wrong. There should be no compatibility issues with Strip Lights Region fix once again.
-
Version 5.4.5
- This update only affects the TTW version. Added a check to make sure Point Lookout doesn't have an imagespace set when bModWorldspaces=1.
- Added checks for when bModWorldspaces=1 for the TTW version for Alton, Washington's Malevolence, and AWOP FO3 to set the climate to the TTW climate. In version 5.4 it normally only had the Mojave Climate set for mod added worldspaces when this is enabled. If anyone knows of more mods for TTW that add worldspaces let me know.
-
Version 5.4
- This update should address issues where the climate/weather was broken in mod added worldspaces. There is also a new option in the INI file to make DNW's climate play in these worldspaces. Shouldn't affect The Frontier. Semi experimental, but seems to work fine from limited testing. Note: until I can find a workaround for TTW worldspaces, the climate will be the same as is in the Mojave Wasteland for mod added worldspaces when this is enabled.
-
Version 5.3.5
- Improved lonesome road imagespace and IMODs a bit.
- Adjusted mojave imagespace slightly.
- Bumped up heavy overcast brightness a bit more.
- Fixed the cell that was supposed to solve conflict with strip lights region fix. I had it as region 218, not 219 which it should be.
-
Version 5.3
- Added two new wind sounds for more variety and to better suit non overcast weathers, and reduced the overall wind volume to not be so obnoxious by default.
-
Version 5.2.1
- Fixed crash caused by TTW version.
-
Version 5.2
- Cleaned up a few weathers having odd cloud choice in my opinion.
- Made rainy weathers about 40% as frequent in the Mojave, and reduced the chance in the capital wasteland a bit as well.
-
Version 5.1.5
- Possible fix for the wireframe sort of skydome glitch some users were reporting.
- Adjusted a few panorama textures.
- Resaved all the new panoramas just in case they weren't saved properly before.
-
Version 5.1
- Resaved the uncompressed textures with the proper DDS plugin. Some were saved with the intel plugin which was causing the skydome to glitch out for at least 2 people that I know of.
- Made and implemented a few more new panoramas.
- Updated heat haze formlist to accomadate changes in weather styles.
- Adjusted a couple of the new panoramas from 5.0 to not be as bright.
-
Version 5.0
- Made and implemented several new panoramic clouds, and improved a couple of the current panoramas.
- Added a lot more cloud variation between weathers. Changed up the heavy overcast weathers a bit to not be so samey. Made them more visible during the day.
- Resaved many of the cloud textures as uncompressed to reduce noise or other artifacts. This will increase the file size but improve the overall look.
- Made fog a good bit lighter. It isn't as brown and dark now, and should blend with the sky better.
- Reduced pip-boy light intensity a bit (TTW version already had this change, I forgot to carry it over to the NV version).
- Most weathers that had heavy panoramic clouds with fake sunlight baked into the texture have been changed to utilize new panoramas I made, or other cloud choices.
- See the new images added for a preview of some of the new clouds.
-
Version 4.8.5
- Fixed an issue with a black speck that could be seen in one of the cloud textures introduced in 4.8.
- Improved a few more weathers slightly, increased cloud variation a bit.
- Bumped up cloudy weather brightness a bit during the day in the config file.
-
Version 4.8
- Improved several ugly looking Mojave weathers, and improved the Colorado River legion weathers.
-
Version 4.7.6
- Fixed Gibson scrapyard imagespace switching (issue introduced in 4.7.5). Brought back a couple worldspace edits to fix this.
-
Version 4.7.5
- Added compatibility for Heat Haze by doodlez. Requires ShowOff NVSE. Still does not require ShowOff NVSE if not using Heat Haze.
- Adjusted layers in cloud mesh to not be so low, should make the sky feel a bit less squished.
- Fixed up horizon clouds on a few weathers (these issues with them were not really noticeable before I adjusted the cloud mesh in this update).
- Thanks to doodlez advice, scripted some of the remaining worldspace edits that were only there for setting ImageSpaces.
-
Version 4.7
- Reduced daytime sunlight values in the Mojave. It's still brighter than versions 4.5 and below, but not as much as versions after that.
- Added in the scripts relating to nightvision effects like cateye, friend of the night, etc. from RWL and improved the friend of the night IMODs. Should reduce the issues it had before.
- Added in the Lonesome Road wind sounds from RWL for the Lonesome Road weathers, to make them feel a bit more unique.
- Fixed Zion rain weathers having low sunlight values at night. Made them consistent with other weathers.
-
Version 4.6.5
- Fixed climate in test worldspaces (apparently some people actually use those, I saw Hitman using it in a video and the weather was totally broken, sorry).
- Further improved sunset and sunrise coloring (clouds, sky, fog etc) overall for heavy clouded weathers for NV and TTW.
- Carried over the single record from Nehred's Strip Lights Region Fix patch for this mod (doesnt make Region Fix a master), so that patch is no longer needed. (Everyone should use Strip Lights Region Fix IMO)
- Adjusted nights a bit more, as well as brightened days in the mojave a bit more.
- Fixed nights being overly dark in heavy overcast weathers.
- TTW: fixed potential issues with the Pitt emmitance region having the main climate set instead of the emmitance climate.
- TTW: Vastly improved sunset and sunrise imagespace adaptors.
- Adjusted sky intensity to be more consistent across different times of day.
-
Version 4.6
- Added a hotkey to shuffle weathers. Default is SHIFT + BACKSLASH. The key can be changed in the ini.
- Adjusted fog coloring for sunset and sunrise on some heavy cloudy weathers to blend better with the sky.
- Raised daytime brightness overall. Things should be less dim.
- Changed the sunset IMOD tint values to those found in Desert Natural Realism.
-
Version 4.5
- Improved OWB and Zion overall look and nights. Fixed up fog, ambient, and the imagespace for Zion, and fixed up the imagespace for OWB.
- Made nights more consistent across DLCs.
- TTW: improved Point Lookout fog coloring and nights.
- Other minor fixes and improvements.
-
Version 4.4
- Fixed issues with nights being too dark, adjusted the IMODs for them and the INI settings.
- Improved a large handful of weathers to have better sky coloring and cloud patterns. Should increase weather variety a bit as well. Changed IMODs where appropriate.
- TTW: adjusted sunset and sunrise IMODs to not be so dark.
- Improved daytime IMODs for the mojave.
- Fixed rain sometimes occuring in the Lucky 38 (issue introduced in 4.2).
- Fixed ambient values being really high at night in Zion. Set them to the ambient values weathers in the main wasteland use. Fixes nights being overly bright in Zion.
-
Version 4.3.2
- Potential fix for Functional Post Game Ending (FPGE) users to prevent Hoover Dam battle weathers from playing after the battle/game ended.
-
Version 4.3.1
- TTW: Fixed L'Enfant Plaza issues.
-
Version 4.3
- Adjusted nights to be more visible.
- Fixed up lighting templates, should fix issue in the Ultra Luxe or any other interiors that had dense fog (only a couple templates had weird fog settings).
- TTW: fixed TTWFalloutWeather9 having weird sky coloring.
-
Version 4.2.5
- Fixed saturation boost option applying multiple times when moving cells, and added an option to configure the amount of saturation added.
- Made horizon colors on Mojave weathers a bit less bright, and reduced intensity of the sky in the IMODs for Mojave weathers slightly to reduce banding.
- Removed the part of the Invisible Cloud Fix that forces the current weather on game load as it was causing weather to change. Upcoming update of Climate Control will have a superior version of this implemented.
- Fixed a discrepency between the TTW and NV versions where the NV version had missing rain sounds on FalloutWeather13.
- Added cloudy flag to cloudy weathers for compatibility with Doodlez upcoming cloud shadows mod.
-
Version 4.2
- The Strip now uses the default climate, and has multiple weathers like the rest of the wasteland. The Tops lights will no longer go dim on weather transition when multiple weathers are enabled in the climate (an issue this had before, which I "solved" by only having one Strip weather). Currently semi incompatible with the Tops Prerelease Restored mod, until I can contact the author for a patch.
- Moved the saturation boost section to the OnCellEnter script.
- Slightly reduced the overall weather transition speed from 40 to 35 as I felt it was kind of long.
- FalloutWeather3 now has the sky and cloud style that the Strip weather had in previous versions, as I felt FalloutWeather3 was ugly, and didn't want to lose out on the style of the former Strip weather.
- Removed lines in the INI files relating to Strip IMODs, as the weathers use the same IMODs as the rest of the wasteland. I have offset this a bit by adjusting the Strip's imagespace, and adding an additive IMOD at night on the Strip that boosts the overall sunlight, brightness, and saturation so the lights will pop.
- Added the nightvision / friend of the night / ghost sight IMODs from RWL to improve the look when using nightvision chems, perks, armor etc. Thanks to Matt on xNVSE for the suggestion.
- Re-enabled the Invisible Cloud Fix by default, and added a check to see if the user has "Climate Control" installed by doodlez, and if so to force it off. Climate Control has its own Invisible Cloud fix by default, so this will prevent them from stacking.
- Fixed the wrong climate playing in Caesar's tent.
- TTW: fixed the Invisible Cloud Fix script having a redundant forceweather on game load I forgot to remove, this issue wasn't present in the New Vegas version.
- Moved some optional files to the misc section to clean up the mod page a bit.
-
Version 4.1
- Raised contrast for daytime non-cloudy weather IMODs for NV and TTW versions.
- Added an option in the config file to boost saturation a bit in exteriors, just turn on bSaturationBoost if interested.
- Adjusted sun values for cloudy weathers so nights aren't overbright.
- Made nights slightly brighter and have less intense fade by default.
- TTW: raised saturation a bit for daytime non-cloudy weather IMODs, and increased the intensity of the sky.
- Turned off the invisible cloud fix by default for better compatibility with the reccommended Climate Control mod. If you don't use Climate Control bCloudFix=1 is still fine to use. Using it with Climate Control will reduce some of it's functionality.
-
Version 4.0
- Added a check for the invisible cloud fix (a vanilla bug fix) to apply when loading a save, cloud fix must be on the on in the INI.
- Fixed night time IMODs in the Mojave Wasteland making scope lenses overly bright, especially when used with PSRO.
- Adjusted edited lighting effect meshes to be at 50% intensity instead of 25%.
-
Version 3.9
- Improved the exclude from climate script.
- Reduced wind volume by 30%. There is an optional file for further reduced wind volume.
- TTW: Fixed wrong weathers playing in Broken Steel DLC. Thank you TheHermit for letting me know.
- TTW: Covered the weather that plays when you nuke Megaton. Thank you Nehred for reminding me.
- TTW: Fixed horizon clouds on TTWPleasantWeather6
- TTW: Fixed climate playing inccorectly in Tranquility Lane, there shouldn't be any more issues regarding this. All DLCs and main worldspaces are covered.
-
Version 3.8.5
- Fixed janky water reflections. Thank you Balebandro for letting me know about this.
- Added a check to for the weather exclude function (SHIFT + DELETE) in game to not run if it's on a weather that can't be disabled, such as DLC weathers. It will play a message saying it can't be disabled.
- FIxed sunset fog coloring not blending well with the sky on Falloutweather5 and Falloutweather13 and the TTW variants (both of these are heavy overcast).
- Removed sky plane meshes and textures from the main files and added them as an optional file.
- Removed a few unnecessary edits in the ESPs that could have been causing issues. Fixed New Vegas version having the wrong water set for WastelandNV.
-
Version 3.8
- Nehred kindly reworked the scripts again, should no longer have any issues regarding scripts, and things should be more seamless.
- Added checks to see if the wrong weather is playing throughout the scripts, so issues with weathers from the main climate in DLCs should be resolved.
- Fixed script for the facelight feature.
- Adjusted the skydome mesh to have the upper layer be higher up, should make the skydome feel a bit larger.
- Added check to the rain script to see if the weather is mostly transitioned before showing rain. This should prevent rain from playing early into a weather transition, when skies are still clear.
- Fixed up fog coloring during sunset for heavy overcast/rainy weathers, as well as reduced the intensity of the cloud colring during this time.
- Toggling off a weather with SHIFT + DELETE switches to the next weather immediately now.
- TTW: adjusted the main IMODs to increase the intensity of the sky during the day, and boost saturation a little overall. Should make things less washed out and dull, but still retain the style.
- TTW: removed the atmosphere mesh in the TTW version. TTW already comes with the Fallout 3 atmosphere mesh included, which I find to be the superior atmoshphere mesh.
-
Version 3.7.5
- Fixed the climate script event handler being commented out for some reason.
-
Version 3.7
- Fixed fog coloring on FalloutWeather5 and TTWFalloutWeather5.
- TTW: fixed point lookout fog coloration, should blend with the sky better.
- Fixed NV version exclude from climate script and added an extra check to it for both versions.
- Resized all 4k textures to 2k, and added an optional 1k textures version.
- Fixes to some HDR values in the IMODs.
- Added wind sounds to weathers in the Mojave for both NV and TTW versions like the TTW weathers have.
- Fixed fog coloring for cloudyweather4, and pushed fog back a bit on heavy overcast weathers that don't have rain.
- Removed horizon clouds on cloudyweather1 cause they keep breaking for whatever reason, added clouds on layer 0 to cloudyweather1-3 to improve the overall look.
- TTW: fixed blown out horizon on TTWPleasantWeather5, made nights slightly brighter by default (can be lowered in the ini as always). Added option to adjust point lookout nights. Fixed the default config file coming with weathers disabled.
- Improved the exclude weathers script. It is now SHIFT + DELETE. Delete can be changed to another key in the ini. It also will only show the popup "Current Weather Disabled" if you press the keys on a weather that is actually able to be disabled (minor nitpick of mine).
- Adjusted bloom on the strip imagespace to improve compatibility with ENB.
-
Version 3.6.5
- Fixed remaining worldspaces without the right climate and imagespace set. Weathers should play across all base game worldspaces and DLCs properly.
- TTW: adjusted tranquility lane to not be vanilla, fits in better with the overall look.
- Optimized the climate script thanks to Nehred. Also thanks to Doodlez for some advice.
- Made cloudy weather sunsets less yellow.
- Other various fixes and improvements.

- Fixed the horizon cloud seams on cloudy weathers.
- Adjusted cloudy weather cloud coloring at sunset and sunrise.
- Fixed INI file reading the wrong line for TTW night adjustment.
-
Version 3.5
- Added in Marcurios meshes and new textures for sky planes so fake interior skies look better.
- Changed the removal of light rays indoors to instead tone them down instead of removing them. I will add an optional file to disable them like earlier versions.
- Fixed up coloring and cloud choices for cloudy weathers.
- Added in some clouds from Project Reality to add a bit more cloud variation.
- Other various fixes I can't remember off the top of my head.
- Replaced some thunder sounds that were too loud / jarring.
-
Version 3.3.5
- Fixed pip-boy light issue.
- Removed most edited interior imagespaces, the tint was made neutral on them previously. Interiors should be less purpleish red now. If you want to remove some interior tint use the interior color fix option, which I raised the intensity of to compensate.
-
Version 3.3
- All scripts have been reduced from 8 or 9 scripts to 3 scripts and heavily optimized by Nehred. One script was 1800+ lines and he managed to get it to be only 200 or so.
- Completely reworked nights. Lights actually show up now, and things are overall more visible.
- Extended config options. Nights can be tweaked more in terms of brightness and sunlight. Day sunlight values can be adjusted.
- Rain works properly now. It shouldn't have any issues now. It now uses the fixed Honest Hearts rain script by Panzerman instead of the script I was using.
- Changed the intense cloudy weather fallout weather 13 to have rain. It doesn't have any thunder though for the sake of some variation in rainy weathers.
- Fixed overbright skies and clouds in OWB.
- Adjusted several cloud textures to be more subtle and fitting with the intended art style.
- Adjusted a few sky colors to have less color banding and blend better.
- Removed some questionable cloud choices and fixed up a few weathers I didn't like as much as others.
- Made fog overall less dark and more of a blue grey, but still similar to old values, should blend better and make the wasteland more large feeling.
- Added a unique IMOD for Zion nights, can be configured.
- Scripted worldspace changes for Climate and ImageSpace to ensure compatibility if someone doesn't have this last in their load order. I would still reccomend keeping it very low in your load order though.
- Made sunset and sunrise skies brighter and pop more, adjusted the intensity of the tint during these times.
- Made ambient coloring a bit brighter during high noon for most clear weathers to add a bit of variation in lighting and make things pop more.
- Changed the disable weathers key to be adjusted in the INI under iExcludeKey. Default is DELETE (211). Press the key in game during a weather you want to disable. It won't show up again.
- Changed the disable weathers from climate script to an event handler so it only runs when the specified key is pressed. Thank you Nehred.
- Made distant strip lights pop a bit more. Unfortunately it is hard to get them to be intense without making nights look awful.
- Fixed night sunlight in INI having no effect. It was commented out for testing and I forgot to undo that.
-
Version 3.2.2
- Removed Inverted Daylight region edits. Behavior of lights should work properly from day to night.
- Fixed facelight being always on.
-
Version 3.2.1
- Actually fixed the moon this time. No more transparency issues or white edges at least on my end.
- Made lights at night and night skies more visible. Adjusted luminosity values for nights. They still have a similar overall vibe to them though.
-
Version 3.2
- Added ability to disable weathers in game by pressing Left Alt + Delete. It will write to the ini as well so you can reenable them if you wish by editing the ini. Only works in the mojave wasteland.
- Changed a couple weathers to look much more natural, added in the custom 360 cloud texture I made on RadiatedWeather5.
- Fixed up the duplicate cloud textures in the assets and updated file paths to match. Removed more unneeded files.
- Reduced unpacked file size from around 900 MB to 665 MB.
- Added more descriptions to ini options. Go through the ini again after updating.
- Made rainy weathers more of a heavy overcast, and the overcast non rainy weathers a bit more light.
-
Version 3.1
- Fixed up Zion weathers to be less neon and have more natural cloud styles. FIxed one zion weather having the wrong IMODs. Also adjusted other aspects of Zion weather to look better.
- Fixed Zion always having rain weather. Rain plays at the proper chance now.
- Added option to configure nighttime fade and tint alpha. Lower them if you want clearer nights. Found in the config file.
- Made looking up rain more subtle and transparent.
- Adjusted lonesome road clear clouds (used in some mojave weathers too) to be less bright.
- Made falloutweather3 have better cloud choice.
-
Version 3.0
- Added more options to the config file. Can now turn weathers off that you don't want in the main climate, and adjust night brightness. See images under config/HDRWeatherAndColor to see what the weathers look like.
- Adjust interior imagespaces to be more similar to vanilla, they should be overall less dark. Use SILO if you want to adjust interiors.
- Reduced intensity of a couple clouds.
- Removed unneeded weather records and duplicate DLC weathers in the ESP.
- Adjusted regions so proper weathers will play such as the sewer region.
- Updated climate script to remove other strip weathers as they were still showing up despite the region override.
- Further improved LR IMODs and imagespace.
- Made strip nights pop more.
- Adjusted a few lights records to be more colorful.
- Updated the reshade for the latest update.

-
Version 2.8.1
- Fixed map markers in the Big MT.
-
Version 2.8
- Adjusted cloud mesh layer positions so there is no horizon seam at certain high up areas especially lonesome road and mojave outpost. Thank you RadioAM for the advice and Marcurios. Also adjusted the postions of other layers to match. Horizon clouds should sit a bit lower now and look more natural.
- Removed some unneeded IMODs and weathers cluttering the esp.
- Removed weather references in Lonesome road and honest hearts scripts that force vanilla weathers, now the intended climate will play.
- Made cloudy weathers a bit less bloomy.
- Improved lonesome road imagespace. Normalized IMODs across most lonesome road weathers to be more visually consistent.
- Optimized the master climate script and the interior color and weathercontrol scripts thanks to Nehred's advice.
- Further improved nights.
- Camp McCarran weather issue resolved.
-
Version 2.7
- Adjusted nights so skies pop more and they aren't as thick. Fixed overbright strip at night. Made strip use a unique imagespace to emphasize lights more. Fixed dark clouds at night on the strip.
- Made the transition from the hidden valley dust storm to the wasteland seamless.
- Adjusted coloring and radius on a few light sources.
