Cass is my favorite companion in the game. It also sucks severely how much running around you have to do before you're actually able to travel with her. She won't move from the Mojave Outpost until she sells her caravan, but normally, she can't sell her caravan until you've traveled all the way to south Vegas and run an errand for Alice McLafferty. Would you believe that I used to be so desperate as to abuse my game with SetStage console commands just to bring Cass into my fold at first sight? Well, no longer! The mod that I've always wanted is finally here. If you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself (with the help of someone who shares your vision and is much more adept at the GECK than you are, of course. This is truly an indispensable quality of life mod for women like me who hate running errands but love hardass, haggard, older women who are built like a rope and have emotional problems.

- Adds a Mojave Express Delivery Order from Crimson Caravans to the owner of Cassidy Caravans, containing one (1) buyout offer letter, on the corner of the shelf behind the desk in the Mojave Express office.
- Picking up the buyout letter from Mojave Express automatically begins the quest "You Can Depend On Me" at the stage where you need to negotiate with Cass about selling her caravan.
- Successfully convincing Cass to sell will point you toward telling Alice McLafferty the news. Speaking to Alice McLafferty for the first time will have her greet you as normal, but you can tell her about Cass right away to claim your reward.
- The rest of "You Can Depend On Me" (the errand to Hildern, Jamison, and the Gun Runners theft) are completely intact and will progress as normal if you ask Alice McLafferty about any other work available. After completing the errand to Hildern, Alice just won't mention or offer the Cassidy Caravans job if you've already completed it.
- Installing this mod and going to Alice McLafferty first (for some reason) will have her offer you the Cassidy Caravans job as normal if you haven't delivered the buyout letter yet. If you never picked up the buyout letter at Mojave Outpost, it will disappear if Alice just gives you the buyout letter herself.
- Your objective will change to telling Alice that Cass is dead if Cass is, in fact, killed sometime after you pick up the letter but prior to her selling her caravan.
- Please note that despite what the excerpt from my comic might suggest, this mod does not add any kind of additional dialogue or interactions with Johnson Nash.
- It is, all and all, a very simple and very elegant quality of life mod that does not skip or remove any part of "You Can Depend On Me." It simply lets you...Hire Cass Early™!
