I literally searched "Hire Cass Early" and here it is a mod with this exact name doing exactly what I was looking for. Modding is crazy sometimes From another big Cass fan, thank you 🫡!
It's weird. Literally just this morning I was wondering if there was a mod to recruit Cass early but I dodn't get a chance to look. But when I did lo and behold there was!
So I forgot to grab the paper when I was in Primm so Cass had her regular dialogue if the mod wasn't installed so I had to go back to Primm to grab the paper and I was able to recruit her Now the reason I am typing this is because I wanted to know if this would cause any bugs with Cass' companion quest as I still have the quest objective that you get when starting Heartaches By The Number in the vanilla game as well as the objective to visit Cass' caravan I wouldn't think it would but I'd figure I'd ask just to be safe Great mod btw :]
I'm prettyyyyyyyyyy sure it won't cause any problems. Heartaches By The Number should progress as normal by the time you talk to Alice McLafferty about Cass. Let me know if it doesn't.
Update: Just completed Cass' quest with no bugs in relation to the "Cass is drowning her sorrows. Her advice? Look for work at The Crimson Caravan." objective so all clear 👍

I got an off-topic question about your webcomic you linked in the description. I have been slowly reading it and in issue #21 a ghoul tell Agnes to access the strip through the sewers. Accessing the strip through the sewers is not possible is vanilla FNV, right? So in your run did you use a sewer mod? If so what's it called?
Sorry if I'm getting ahead of myself, I haven't finished the webcomic yet. I just got to that part and was like "Damn! Now I wanna access the strip through the sewers for free" lol. I can't find my answer on Google and the small number of sewer mods on here don't tell me either.
Correct, it is not possible in the base game! When I wrote that script, I was genuinely just misremembering the existence of an alternate passage to the Strip (in my playthrough that inspired the comic, I think I just got to the Strip by passing the credit check, but that obviously didn't translate to the comic). There isn't a mod for it that I know of, but it's definitely next on my "make IKROAH real" modding to-do list, because I do think it would be a really good idea. I'd have to learn some actual cell editing, but...hey, I've been learning a lot of stuff lately.
He didn't give me the time of day on my previous playthrough because the Legion idolized me before I even joined them. I guess that's what you get for turning in like 80 NCR dog tags XD
