How did you manage to make it work? I drag and drop the .bsa files and nothing happens

    Literally does nothing.

EDIT: Using Gamepass version of Remaster. I was able to use it fine after changing permissions of the Data folder. Cheers!

The program does not start and gives out "file name hash not matching file name". How can this be fixed?

I don't know what I'm missing. But I can't get this tool to work no matter what. I even ran it as administrator. Still nothing. I located my steamapps common and Oblivion folder then try to run tool and it just flashes some blank screen for a split second then nothing. I even went into the data folder in case it needs to get to that folder and still nothing

Did it crash right after you launches it or right after hitting start?

I have the same issue, after hitting start.  If you can help I'll refer back to this, thanks.

Think you could make this work with Skyrim SE? That game does use faster compression, but it still negatively impacts performance. I decompressed the vanilla BSAs for personal use manually.

Is it safe to use this if I have used Oblivion BSA Decompressor on my .bsa files before?

it's harmless but also useless, since those bsa files are already uncompressed.

    Hello,

I just tried downloading this file and "Windows Security" reported a trojan called "Trojan:Script/Wacatac.H!ml".

    Be careful.

Looks interesting. But you may want to add a text file in the ZIP explaining what the options on the screen do & when it's best to use them. For example, would loading the BSA into memory run afoul of Oblivion's 4 GB RAM limit or can they be accessed beyond that? Such info would make the program more understandable for those people still fairly new to modding their games. Will certainly give it a try.

Those settings are just for my program to speed up, and I did put some mouse hover tool tips on those check boxes, but since you mentioned it, maybe I should write something on the description page :)

Would you consider adding support for other relevant Bethesda titles? (i.e. FO3, FNV, Skyrim) That or having versions for those games. Much as I love the Decompresser tools that came out of Zilav, having something able to quickly and painlessly do the process for custom BSAs is really useful. :)

Yes, I'll add support for those games soon, but maybe not for Skyrim SE and fallout 4, I think these new games already handle assets loading quite well. :)
