S-tier mod, I tried the first one that come out with no luck but this worked wonders. Running on medium and high graphics at 60fps outside in the day with no issues! I had to run everything on low and get 18 fps outside before this! You are the true hero of kvatch!
thank you so much works perfectly, i have a laptop with a gtx 1650, 16gb ram and i7. i am running on fsr balanced on all medium settings get approx. 33-40fps outside and 70-100fps inside. some of the lighting is a bit ugly but the game is very playable.
I don't have the last part of the string for the location in Steam (...config/windows). I've looked in other locations including through steam app itself but to no avail. Awww man, I wanted to try your mod too. ***I downloaded it and now it works! Thanks so much for this amazing mod. I can play it on Medium setting and still pull 30-57fps. YES!
copy this but replace administrator with your name C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\Windows if you still dont see it verify the files on steam
I'm such a goof ball. I went your route and found it. I forgot about the "users" folder. Ah, it's an off day. Anyways, thanks bunches! I downloaded the mod and followed the instructions. It works now :) I can play at medium graphics and still pull in 30 fps. I love this mod!
This works great for me as I also have a 3050rtx 4gb. Its not perfect but I can run the game on medium settings and get an avg of 30fps. Lowest 25fps, highest 70fps. Before installing this mod I was getting 15-20fps on low setting and almost unplayable in the outside areas.
I am chugging on an Asus TUF F17. Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 4gb of vram.
So far this has been the only engine modification that has made real improvement to my game play. I noticed that it may take the game a few minutes to load new areas, but all indoor and villages run at a consistent 30 fps, while the outdoors sometimes hits 30fps when it's not raining. It's not the best and my setup is a little under powered, but at least the game is playable. Ironic that I can run Skyrim GOTY at ultra on this laptop, I know it being a 10 year old game and all but still. Thank you very much!
I will also recommend this mod. It's not a perfect cure, but I do think that it helps load areas a bit faster: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivionremastered/mods/79

i honestly don't know how to check the version on Xbox game pass store for pc. but since it updated as of today I'd say the latest one, because I don't wanna leave you with no answer.
Look, I don't know if you're a Wizard/Witch/Spell-caster or just not even Human but THANKYOU! I was barely getting 30fps outdoors and now I'm hovering around 65-88fps. Caves is 120+

You are my HERO. Base game running on my 4GB PC was 10-15 FPS on low settings in the overworld now it's 50 FPS on low and up to 30-40 on Medium. Much better gameplay experience. THANK YOU!
