NBCoo ULTRA BLOODBATHDescriptionNBCoo ULTRA BLOODBATH is a simple but powerful INI tweak for Oblivion Remastered that massively enhances the blood effects during combat.
Greatly increases the number of blood decals.
Blood splatters remain visible for much longer (up to 1 hour).
Blood is visible from extreme distances.
Designed to create a brutal and immersive battle atmosphere.
No ESP/ESM files – only a safe .ini tweak.
Tested on RTX 3060 Ti and Intel Core i5 12600K – stable performance at high settings.
Note: Due to the original Oblivion engine limitations, some blood decals might still disappear after a while. This is a technical limit, not a mod issue.
1. Download the file Oblivion_Bloodbath_Ultra.ini.2. Rename the file to Oblivion.ini (capital "O" is important).3. Where to put the file?You have two possible locations, depending on how your Remastered version is set up: ✅ First option (most common): C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Config\Windows or sometimes: C:\Users\YourUsername\Documents\My Games\Oblivion Remastered\Saved\Config\Windows
If you see files like Engine.ini or DefaultEngine.ini in this folder, you are in the right place.
✅ Second option (if Documents is empty): C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Oblivion\Saved\Config\Windows
(Remember: the AppData folder is usually hidden — you may need to enable "Show hidden files" in Windows.)
4. Important notes:
Do not replaceEngine.ini or other system files.
Just place your Oblivion.ini alongside the existing .ini files.
If the mod doesn't seem to apply, open DefaultEngine.ini or Engine.ini manually and copy/paste the following lines under [Display]:
