Hey its 2024, and this mod gives a, dead error, whenever you try to load a game with this mod, it gives a error and referance to camera rotation. I cant play the game with this one. Fair warnings to everyone!
The mod settings are never in-game for Kingmaker (and most Unity engine games). The description here says "in game" by mistake, but the modder meant you can open the Unity Mod Manager window while in-game...
Control F10 should open the UMM window. Click on the Camera Rotation... I forget the exact clicks, but you should see were you can change the keys. I used q and e to rotate the camera and z to reset it (ideally before a cut-scene).
Why : the game was designed with the isometric view. For example, most assets do not have detailed textures for some view angles. For example, grass disappears in most camera angles; though I never noticed it until Owlcat explained it in a video today :P So Owlcat did not apply this mod as default because they wanted the graphics to be perfect in all angles.

Where are the in-game settings for camera controls? Mod manager says they were moved in-game, but I can't find those options in the control settings or any other options
I installed Unity Mod Manager and use that to access the mods listed controls. You can open Unity Mod Manager with Ctrl+F10 Options include: Camera Turn Rate with a slider As well as the actual Current Rotation The actual controls are listed right in Mod Manager and are: Rotate Camera Left: , Rotate Camera Right: . Reset Rotation: /
