Swift and Easy - Mooncrash v1.0 by AltheaR


This mod makes DLC"Mooncrash" of "Prey" easier to play and explore.

what this mod does:

more time
- Corruption timer is slower.
At level1, the timer is twice longer than vanilla Mooncrash.
At level2, it is 3 times longer, level3 is 4 times, level4 is 5 times, and level 5 is 6 times longer.
- (Optional)You can stay at the level you want 1000 times longer.
In vanilla, I mean "by default", one corruption level is about 15 minutes. This mod changes it to 250 hours or so.
5 seconds needed at each level before you reach the particular level you want, so just wait for the seconds.
These changes may not be applied in current level, just wait until next level, or restart the simulation.
- It is defined by Ark/DoomClock.xml

more ammo
- You can fabricate ammunition of guns 3 times more than vanilla Mooncrash.
- You can fabricate grenades(EMP, Recycler, Nullwave, Lure, Gloo and Spore) 5 times more.
- It is defined by Libs/EntityArchetypes/ArkPickups.xml

more items
- You can acquire ammo and consumable items(MedKit, Psi Hypo, Spare Parts, Suit Repair Kit, and TraumaPharmas) more, and the amount of them is randomized(1x~3x).
- +1 more Spare Parts can be acquired from weapon, and Suit Repair Kit can be dismantled.
- It is defined by Ark/Items/LootSpawns.xml and Libs/EntityArchetypes/ArkPickups.xml

more loot
- You can get decent amount of ammo from enemy defeated.
- Artax Propulsion System and grenades can be found (probability is 15%) in Security and Engineer body and supply case.
- Volunteers have one more food in 50%.
- It is defined by Ark/Items/LootSpawns.xml and LootTables.xml

more capacity
- You can bring more items, their maximum number is 30000 in one stack.
- But you can bring only 20 spore grenades(2 times more than vanilla) in one stack.
I changed the number of spore produced by Tentacle nest to 6~10, so you can acquire spore grenades after 3 or 4 times loading of the cell without Necropsy perk.
Tentacle nests drop extra spores around them. Because they have only one stack in their inventory but they seem to continue to produce spores.
- It is defined by Libs/EntityArchetypes/ArkPickups.xml and Ark/Items/LootSpawns.xml

easier hacking
- Level 1 hacking has no stun blocks.
- From level 2 to level 4, you need to reach goal just one time to finish it.
Ark/HackingPuzzles

more recovery from water and foods
- You can recover your HP from sink water and food more. 20 points from water, and 10 points from foods.
- Metabolic Boost perk will 5 times more effective.
- It is defined by Ark/SignalSystem/Packages.xml & Modifiers.xml

more useful typhon abilities
- You can fire Electrostatic Burst, Kinetic Blast, and Psychoshock 2 times far ahead.
They have very short range in vanilla, almost the same as maxed StunGun. It was inconvenient especially in exterior.
- You can summon Pet Turret in 2 times wider range.
- It is defined by Ark/Player/PsiPowers/
ElectrostaticBurstPowerProperties.xml, MindBlastPowerProperties.xml, KineticBlastPowerProperties.xml and SummonPetTurretPowerProperties.xml

Nightmares will not spawn in 20 minutes after defeating.
In vanilla Mooncrash, they will spawn in every 5 minutes.
It is defined by Ark/NPC/NightmareManager.xml



Installation and Uninstallation:

Put "patch_Swift_Mooncrash.pak" in "STEAM/steamapps/common/Prey/Whiplash/GameSDK/Precache" folder.
Or remove it.
Using optional file, choose one and put "patch_zzTimer_levelxx.pak"(xx is each level number) in the same folder.


Permissions:

You can use these assets for PREY(2017) only with proper credit for me(AltheaR), and Sir Kane.
But you are not allowed to upload this mod to any other site than Nexus (https://www.nexusmods.com/prey2017).
You are not allowed to use this file for any commercial usage or paid things.

Tips:

If you want to make your own . pak file, convert Arkane's original .pak to .zip, empty it(not unzipped), and then put your file in it.
And then rename it to .pak.
