If you are experiencing a crash, especially in tutorial(Volunteer/Andrius stage with no corruption timers), please try v1.1alt in misc section. Error message like this:
And, I added an optional file, which adds 100 "Delay_Loop.Time" as default items, for the people who want to stay at any level much longer. But, please remember, the file must not be used in a tutorial stage. It may cause the error I wrote above.
As far as I confirmed, my mod works with the latest patch. So, enjoy the Mooncrash. :)
it makes my character invisible to me, as in my characters hands and body are not present in animations and renders, which isnt terrible just makes it feel like a cheap game. thank you for the mod, though! nevermind, i fixed it. in case someone else has this issue, remove the mod from your files and go back to the tutorial, and it seems to fix itself. have not tried to reinstall the mod. will be back soon. nevermind it was a conflict with better scope, i think
the description tells: - Corruption timer is slower. At level1, the timer is twice longer than vanilla Mooncrash. At level2, it is 3 times longer, level3 is 4 times, level4 is 5 times, and level 5 is 6 times longer. AND - (Optional)You can stay at the level you want 1000 times longer.
I played at level 3, I've installed your mod and waited till game switches to level 4. Still I see the timer progress slowly advances, slowed rather 5x than 1000x.
Question: How can I enable this "optional" 1000 times longer? If I could I'd opt for 10000000 times longer actually :) Can I enable it without restarting simulation like I do (waiting till next level)?
Please download swift and Easy - optional Timer tweaks from optional files section, and install patch_zzTimer_level04.pak one. If you stay at level 3, no need to reset the simulation I think.
THANK YOU! for quick reply and for the solution. It worked just as you advised - I installed level04 patch, then waited till level 3 changes into level 4 and then the level progress just stopped dead.
if I want to cap the level to 3 for all further play, should I install only patch_zzTimer_level03.pak after I finish the part for current character?
If someone wants to enjoy AltheaR's tweaks to the corruption timer system, but prefers to do without the other changes from her mod: I have something for you :-) https://www.nexusmods.com/prey2017/mods/100
*update* After starting an entirely new game, this hack worked. Thanks.
Hi. Thanks for making this mod.
It doesn't seem to be working for me. I am only using the patch_zzTimer_level01.pak file, and placing it in my F:\PREY\Whiplash\GameSDK\Precache folder (this is the Epic version of the game).
I stop and save my game, drop in the file, then start the game again which loads the saved game. I stand around and wait for the Corruption Timer to count down, but it just moves to the next level.
Am I supposed to start a completely new game of Moon Crash for this to work? I don't think so because you say in your notes not to use this during the Tutorial section, so I assume you mean drop in the file later in the game right?
Just want to confirm, I was already using Swift and Easy for the main campaign, in order to use this version for Mooncrash I should remove the other version first, right?
I believe i've just realized they are 2 separate install locations
I can't imagine how hard vanilla Mooncrash is, if with this, it's still hard, but at least gave the players decent fighting chance. Also a general tip. Don't hoard, because the other characters will not having supplies and you're forced to reset the simulation.
Running GOG version of the game v.10966486 (38551). Nothing changed after installing. Tried different options like separate timer file or delay loop. Seems it doesn't work, unfortunately. Can someone confirm if it work with the latest GOG version v.10966486 (38551) ?

Because main campaign and Mooncrash use different directory for the data.
Can someone confirm if it work with the latest GOG version v.10966486 (38551) ?
