I think I mentioned on the main page, she about the style of my Elana follower, so more of a fun, lighthearted take but I try to wrap some lore around it. Also, compared to Elana, less complicated with the discovery game element.
I'm looking at the various issues and should be able to upload some relief this evening, from into quest to bodyslide (will include prebuilds).
This is difficult to sort out as it working for some people zero problems, not as much for others. The video is me going in with a pretty low loadout, just some combat mods with the difficulty set pretty low to cakewalk to not waste time. But I have had zero issues and nothing in this mod is truly mind-blowing complex, it's very simple kill guy, talk to gal, fetch item stuff.

I have had multiple people testing this throughout the entire day. Some never had an issue. Some didn't have an issue on a new game but otherwise did in an existing game. I never had an issue and I tried: Existing game rolling back to an older save prior to meeting her, new game, existing save I downloaded from Nexus level 25 character with Serana and legendary skills - zero issues in all cases.
Regardless, I am uploading a new version that should tighten up some issues.

REQUIRED for Intro Quest fix if it wasn't working for you: You must NOT be starting or loading your game while inside or near Mzinchaleft, however you can travel away and back to it. NOTE there may be additional corrections based on feedback before this goes live.
General: - Ninara now set to sandbox current location, 256 units, if no other packages or quests affect her. Installer: - Seq is now installed loose. - Updated dialogue corrections (below) to EFF patch. - Prebuilt 3BA meshes to remove confusion by not running bodyslide. - Prebuilt BHUNP meshes to remove confusion by not running bodyslide.
Dialogue: - Corrected flags on shared dialogue that might have created an issue in some cases. - Removed Invisible Continues in the event that they might not be executing follower type commands.
Intro Quest: - Intro now marks sandox marker alias as optional. - Attempt to spawn enemies at Ninara instead of the marker. - If enemies aren't in the cell for some reason, they are moved to the marker. If the marker doesn't exist, they are moved to Ninara. There is a 2 second delay to account for various script engine speeds. - If trigger isn't working to start quest, player receives a tracking spell when entering the location, which starts the quest within 2200 units of Ninara. Spell is removed once the quest starts.
Added a Misc Patch to have Ninara start right outside of Mzinchaleft, in the first hallway after the lookout area. It is esl-flagged, overrides only. Will work as long as her reference 3D has never been loaded in your game before and you haven't yet gone into Mzinchaleft to look for her.
Patch is version independent of the Main mod as it just moves Ninara's Ref and a Marker Ref.
This should help for those that have already cleared Mzinchaleft in existing game (and having issues) OR if you would simply prefer her start outside to get to her easier.
I'm having an issue getting Ninara's intro quest to start. I load a save game as far as away as Dawnstar... run to Mzenchaleft (sp)... hack my way through to her location... and let her join me....
She repeatedly says "Oh no, I'm missing a piece of crucial equipment" every 15 seconds or so -- but the quest "This is my Boomstick" never starts.
I have even tried to setstage and startquest from console, and nothing activates it.
Not sure if it's relevant, but if I startquest, then setstage = 100, then getstage, getstage reports 0.00.
Any help to be had? I really want to do a run-through with her. I love her side commentary so far.
Thank you for this great mod - endorsed. It works really well generally but has one bug which is that she sometimes disappears into the floor during combat, or freezes (my character can then walk through her). Usually fixes itself when I change cells though. Another issue is that after running with her for about 10 levels the dialogue options disappeared (so no way to communicate with her). May be a conflict at my end though. Still a great NPC mod in any case.
Yep, same issue here where there are no dialogue options. I've disabled and enabled her via console but sadly to no avail. I've reinstalled her and it's still the same.
I have an issue where her signature weapon, the gun, has the quest marker but no gun to pick up. Will using the console command to complete the quest put the gun in her inventory? So i used setstage nwsninaqboomstick 200 to finish the quest since I also used console tcl to clip and see if the gun was under the world, but it was not. Like I mentioned, the quest pointer pointed to an empty spot on the floor. No gun nada. Using the console also did not place the gun in my or Ninara's inventory. So how do I get the gun now?
By the way, Ninara is by far one of my favorite mods. Thank you very much! Edit: Second fresh install and second time getting Ninara and getting to the point to pick up gun from the ground. No gun just a quest pointer where the gun should be. Anyone know the code to spawn her gun in? Now she keeps walking away. As much as I like her she is glitched to all hell.
So far love her voice and design. She's cute, w/o immediately reminding me of a "skyrim barbie doll" like the vast majority of female followers here.
Minor bug to report: When i first saw her, the lower part of her legs/feet were invisible. Removing her boots thru console command fix'd that (though now she's walking around barefoot for the time being)
I'm aware that she has her own build-in "home" command, but thus far i've been able to assign her to my home thru the MHIYH mod, and she seems to be meshing with the followers-can-relax sandboxing mod as well.
I know that you've stated you wanted her to be more of a light-hearted take on a companion, but unsure if you meant her personality or her presence in our game as a whole. So far her personality is fantastic (though admittedly thus far she's only been with me thru the area you find her in). Her figure/body is fine (again, a nice break from what we usually see from the majority of nexus female companions/followers)
If it doesn't conflict with your vision for her, i'd love to see her dialogues eventually updated to cover most of what we'll encounter in-game (enemies, locations, quests, artifacts, the civil war, ect), making her a companion on par with F4's heather/ivy. Also maybe adding diff wig colors/hairstyles for us to discover or craft as well.
First off, Ninara is definitely my favorite follower. Someone finally bumped Serana out of the #1 spot. ;)
However...there is a problem. I go to marry her, and everything seems to be working fine, except after the proposal, I can no longer interact with her at all. This continues even after the wedding. This is more than a little irritating. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, anyone have a fix for it?
