Testing some moves and aesthetics
In this video I tested some animations (movement and in combat), had a peek in this BEAUTIFUL Whiterun, tested the smoothcam setting with the alternate conversation camera and had a fight with a giant with some nice moves (I mean the animations, not my gameplay lol)
Skyrim 2021 - Lightweight Combat Mod Showcase
This is a showcase of a combination of mods for combat, visuals, animations, and behaviors.This set up uses no major combat overhauls, but instead a collection of lightweight, highly compatible mods, to create a heavier and more fluid combat experience.The goal of this set up is to change the combat experience to focus more on moment-to-moment combat decisions, without having to worry about "aiming" melee weapons. Combat progresses in a rock-paper-scissors fashion, replacing manual aiming for a hard-lock that will let you instead manage your distance from the enemy, as well as your lateral angle of attack. Your character can now attack at all angles on-screen as opposed to watching the character's back the whole time.How it works:1. True Directional Movement has an excellent lock-on system with UI additions such as the boss bar. 2. TK Dodge provides the framework for dodging and counterattacks. 360 Walk and Run Plus enables full 360-degree movement. 3. Mortal Enemies tweaks player and NPC combat behaviors and movements to be more realistic: stronger attacks are less maneuverable, and characters have a more natural turning speed so they don't move like robots tracking a target. 4. Smoothcam brings the best third person camera experience found in any game ever made. Every inch of it is customizable, but it's difficult to not just use the superb default preset it comes with.Note:The mod page for True Directional Movement lists an incompatibility with TK Dodge. It is only partial. While locked on, the dodging functions normally. 360 Movement is the default movement type, so you cannot strafe unless locked on. Performing side dodges while in 360 movement will make the character dodge to the side they normally do, referential to their direction. So performing a right dodge while running right, will make your character dodge towards the screen.
