    I  have a problem. When i installed i get ASO command minions but not the raise dead slave spell in my inventory. I tried loading different saves and still the same. I also tried using other mods made by this same guy using the aso minion system but even over there its missing. Am i supposed to enable it somehow or something? Please Help.

      This is because the spells are from my other mod.

    How do you command type1 minions as a group?

      You dont command a type of minions but you can command a certain group of any type of minions.

    Please can you do the system like the oldrim version when i activate summon they do order i would be much easier,a mcm menu for define the number off minions i can have because sometimes like when i install the overlord anime mod and want to have guard protect nazarick it's not enough for me 25 patrol  area limit and for finish can you explain better how to make the patrol area,because i d'idnt understand how to do that.Thanks for reply(Sorry if i writings bad i'm french and understand english fully well.)

      Hi, sadly I have made a long break from moding and I do not plan to revisit the minion system. Alchemy yes, but not this. You have to rely on the description of the mod for details because I have not used it for a very long time myself and in practice I would do exactly the same thing myself :(

      Ok, thanks for reply i try to do it myself.But it's difficult because the tuto for script is really hard to find on the creation kit website.But have any site that explain how to modding(script,create,etc..).Like A to Z,and not just some base.

      I have used the site as well. You have plenty of examples of scripts in my mod. The catch is to locate appropriate place to change the code.

      hey, sorry to hear that you have no plans to revisit the minion system, while I do hope you will change your mind at some point, I still thank you for at least giving us the minion system in some form

      If I recall correctly approach the minion activate it and order it to patrol.

    How do I remove a follower from the minion system? I don't want my followers walking ahead of me like Dogmeat.

      I do not understand. If you dont want to send your followers forward then dont use the feature.

      I wanted to use it for the minions only, summoned creatures etc.

      Then sign out the followers in squad one and just command the unassigned :)

    Hi
    thanks for your work on this mod. I was having a lot of fun in my summoner playthrough with it.

    However, I seem to have run into a problem - the summons dont seem to reset on the minion count after they are dispelled or die or whatever. It seems to be stuffing up things. Also, the other followers I have guarding my home base seem to have been drawn in to this mod (despite the fact i never used any ASO commands or dialogue options on them).

    The result is my summoned creatures no longer seem to obey the go foward or wait there commands. Also, I am noticing that the ASO power greys out after I try to issue a command.

    Is there any way to reset the follower count?

      Hi,

      When it comes to the problem with minion count you are the first person to report it. There is no way to reset the count to my knowledge. I propose to kill all summons and send away all followers and then try again.

      When it comes to the followers the minion system covers them as well. In fact with followers you can use the full potential of the minion system since followers can do much more like activate items, open doors, bash locks etc. It is not a bug. In fact you can order the followers to patrol the house using the minion system if you want it.

      I resolved the issue by simply deactivating the mod in vortex then waiting a bit and then restarting it. It would be better if there were some in-game way to reset.

      I don't think killing the summons will help because the sometimes don't get removed regardless of how the die or are dismissed.

      I've noticed it seems to work better with some summons and not others. I've only rarely managed to get famaliars to walk forward but atronachts work well.

      Overall really great mod - obviously works better for a necromancer using thralls and raised dead rather than a daedra summoner like me. But it still works.

      Have you seen the "Minionz" mod in Oblivion? Similar concept.

      Indeed. The mod works best for necromancers or people using followers, because they can do more than summoned creatures. Still the mere ability to send summons forward is literally a game changer for me :)

    Getting no minion available even when using the ASO Magic spell. I think it must be a mod incompatibility.

      Created a new vortex profile, enabled only SkyUI, USSEP, ENAIRim, and LAL along with ASO Minions and Magic. Started a new game as a vigilant of stendarr. I added the raise dead slave spell book, learned it. Console killed a vigilant, used the spell on him, it showed the minion being registered, but the ASO Command Minion still says no minion availalbe. Hmm.

      Disabled all mods except ASO, started a new game, rezzed a stormcloak, and same thing, No minion available.

      Have you tried with a normal follower or an actor summoned by vanilla spell?

      I tried with a flame atronach, your ghost minions, and Marcurio, all still giving the No minion Available message. I wonder if my game files themselves are the problem somehow. It obviously works for you or you wouldn't have been able to make the demo videos... hmmm... anything else you want me to test?

      Very strange. Have you read the readme carefully? Perhaps you try to command a group of minions/squad that is empty? Have you tried commanding all minions? I am not talking about commanding all minions in squad but all squads? Can you assign raised dead slave to another group/squad? Can you make it patrol the area? Do you have access to its inventory?

      It seems to be working now, I think it must have been operator error. I edited the bug report I put in and reported it for hopeful deletion. Many apologies for unnecessary headache I may have given you. Your mods have been so fantastic over the years!

      Don't use minion system with vanilla dead thralls or revenants. I haven't tested them because from what I know you cannot override their ai packages. This mean the minion system will not work with them. It a Skyrim issue. I am surprised though about the CTD.

      Gotcha, very interesting. A vanilla flame atronach will for example give the notification that it can't do a favor if you try to have it loot a chest, but it will indeed move forward or wait. I'll avoid mixing vanilla summons and zombiez with your mod though for maximum stability. I also noticed that when there are non hostile summoned atronachs around you they will be put under your control. Like if a follower summons one.

      Only actors with human animation set can do favors. That's why atronarchs are excluded by the mod. As for the non hostile atronarchs that may be true. I cant do anything about it.

    Using the ASO dead slaves works great! Mercurio, and Atronachs will also obey. Dead thralls and revenants though will CTD when asked to loot a chest or wait somewhere7. I'm guessing this is another operator error? hahaha Sorry for being a noob, but I thought I'd mention it in case it was something you'd be interested in. By no means a game breaker for me as I plan on using the Dead Slave spell primarily anyway, was just testing.

      I think they should be compatible as long you do not use commands from both mods at the same time. Why don't you try? I will try the mod as well.
