After selecting the King Among Kine perk and starving for long enough to get Flaywind I noticed I also unlocked all the hemomancy spells. I didn't really drain anyone since I was trying to be a good guy and bandits don't really sleep. Also the quest telling me get these spells unlocked was not updated or anything.
Not the most experienced modder but I've been modding my Skyrim for a couple of years now.
I cannot get this mod to work with my load order (same with Sacrilege) I have no other mods that change anything about vampires, except Fangs and Eyes. I know it's this mod because my load order works absolutely fine without it, but this causes CTD. The mod seems to CTD my game randomly, but usually within the space of an hour or two, too much that I can just ignore it. I think it's something to do with the USSEP thing, but I'm unsure of how to fix it.
I use Vortex, and it says that USSEP is load number 11, and Sacrosanct is 68. I've also tried the loose files version of Sacrosanct, and that gets rid of the error message but still ends up causing random CTD.
I've tried a complete fresh install of the game, reinstalling all my mods, trying to move mods in the load order (so Sacrosanct always loads last). Really pulling my hair out cause I wanna be a vampire with Serana but there's just no point with vanilla vampires.
Is there a video or something that explains how I can fix this? I think I need it dumbed down.
Hey, I had this problem. Try going into your SKSE folder and searcing for PlayerVampireQuestScript. Delete any psc files that show up. Worked for me (though I have more interesting problems currently).
I can't understand why author hates bosmers? Every race got some buffs and useful features, but bosmers got debuff and weird feature. I mean, why to eat raw ingredients at all?
I would say, based on how the description words it, having the effects reverse and stronger would mean poison heals you? why would you want to say be immune to a free heal? if that is how the mod works anyway, then bosmer is actually pretty op against falmer as most of them have pre-poisoned weapons meaning the first strike does less or heals you. EDIT: I think i noticed what you meant. the immunity likely was removed to have the ingredient effect work at all. as for the falmer i did misread what it meant. but still... it feels like quite a few scripts from this mod dont really have the desired effect such as moonlit waters dissapearing still even though that bug was supposedly fixed. might be a mod that loads after or for the ability simply a limitation of the engine... though i do agree not being immune to poison can be pretty bad against falmer/their reapers/hunters.
if you eat human hearts an flesh which usually damage your health they're basically free health potions an if you combine it with the heartbreaker kill mod it makes for such a fantastic playthrough
I am and have always been an avid Vampiric Thirst fan. When I come across other vampire mods I of course compare them. I really do enjoy Sacrosanct. Its been a forced experience as Nolvus (modlist) uses it.
There are a couple of things that I prefer in VT and would like to create my own personal use patch for these. I am not suggesting taking anything from VT as that would be too complicated for me. I am suggesting adding stuff.
Mainly:
Ability to feed/drain in battle.
Feed/drain in sneak mode. I know you can do this when people are sleeping so I imagine its a pretty easy addition?
Also for vampiric drain etc to sate thirst.
I consulted ChatGPT to help but couldnt really understand what it was suggesting.
Do you mind pointing me in the right direction for this personal patch?
PS. Profained Sun is 100% my favourite spell in this mod.
Combat feed is already in the mod, it is the Blood Knight vampire rank reward.
Sneak feed is already in the mod, it is the Night of the Wolf vampire rank reward.
Change the vampiric drain spell by adding a magic effect with a custom script that calls the feed function. Consider using the feed magic effect from the Potion of Blood and changing its target type. Obviously this will make starvation and all associated mechanics completely irrelevant as you can cast one spell for 5 mana and fully restore hunger, which is why this mod does not offer this feature.
i think feeding through vamp drain could be done, if Thirst were given a "bar" like a progress bar, but each level would be idk 1-100 for example, so you could still have the stages, but by having a progress bar, you could also assign a number to the vampiric drain per second that would fill that bar, reaching the end of the bar advances you to next stage of thirst, but keep it limited to the stage before sated and keep the blood potion as it is to just sate you immediately. so you dont have to assign the spell the same effect of the blood potion, but still totally unnecessary and irrelevant imo because you can just use a blood potion. though, i have no idea how to code at all just giving my thoughts.
If you use Obfuscate with the Bow of Shadows you stay permanently invisible (visually at least) and have to shut down and restart the game entirely which may fix this effect.
I tried this mod again after being away from Skyrim for a while. This time around, after becoming a vampire lord I kept getting this annoying and never-ending prompt to "press (xxx) to switch between magic and melee modes". Is anyone else experiencing this? After rolling back three saves and trying Harkon's training dialogue, I gave up, nuked all my saves, and uninstalled this mod.
Update: after doing more research, it turns out it's a Skyrim level bug. I'm using a controller, so to fix this I had to unplug the controller and toggle melee and magic modes with the keyboard. The message went away.
This mod adds a multi-stage boss-fight for all the master vampires. Kill, for instance, Movarth, and suddenly you're faced with a Vampire Lord called an "Ancient Vampire Priest" that has a summonable minion called a "Feeder" that looks like a gargoyle.
This is mentioned precisely NOWHERE in the description for this mod, the Articles tab, the latest 10 pages of your comment section, or any of your changelogs.
That's a deal-breaker for me. It's one thing to go into a mod knowing such a thing will happen, but another thing entirely to be blindsided by such a thing because it's not even mentioned.
I've checked every single vampire-related mod I have, and they don't have this. And when I remove Sacrosanct, this feature is gone.
I really wanted to love this mod. You add cool spells and passives, and along with those quests such as Blue Blood it makes playing a vampire fun.
But that fun evaporates when you add a new feature that ups the difficulty exponentially and you don't tell anyone.
I was wrong. I still don't know what's causing it, as I don't have the Mihail mod linked to, but it isn't Sacrosanct.
You sure you don't have this one? I am pretty sure this mod doesn't add any bosses. And Enai Does not usually make a habit of not including any major features in their mod description. Also if this does not help, best to quickly ask on the Discord they linked somewhere in anny of their mod descriptions.
Because if it isn't mentioned ANYWHERE; bugs, comments etc. then its probably not from this mod.
@Pumparum, I checked in xEdit as well, and without Sacrosanct installed (because I'm using a different vampire overhaul now) there is nothing in any mod, anywhere, in my entire game, that references anything even remotely resembling it.
@SentinelSword, I checked the mod you linked, and the "Ancient Vampire Priest" in that mod is the same as the one I encountered with Sacrosanct installed, but I don't have that mod or any other similar vampire overhaul like it installed. As I said before, I didn't even know that mod existed until you linked it.
I can only assume based on this, that Enai added parts to that mod to Sacrosanct and didn't mention it. Maybe he didn't even know he added it (as in it was part of something else he added that he didn't notice), or forgot to add it to the description, but what I do know is that removing Sacrosanct removed the Ancient Vampire Priests from my game, so no matter how many people tell me to "check harder," the evidence says it's not user error causing it.
The only other possibility is that Mihail added the monsters to his "Bantam Guars" mod (something I highly doubt) as it is the only Mihail mod I have installed.... except, as I told Pumparum above, I checked all my mods without Sacrosanct installed, and there was no reference to it whatsoever.
I was wrong. I still don't know what's causing it, as I don't have the Mihail mod linked to, but it isn't Sacrosanct.

This mod does not add boss fights, ancient vampire priests, or feeders.
I hate people who flame first and ask questions later.
And I hate people who refuse to acknowledge that I already did my due diligence before commenting.
Also, criticizing your mod isn't "flaming." You're flaming me now for having the gall to complain about something that your mod added to my game.
And yes, Enai, it DID add it to my game, whether you acknowledge it or not.
What part of "No other mod in my entire load order adds this" and "this goes away when I remove Sacrosanct" do you not get?
This happened, whether you want to believe that it did or not.
I was wrong. I still don't know what's causing it, as I don't have the Mihail mod linked to, but I got the same thing with Scion installed, so it isn't Sacrosanct.
Can't report bugs for some reason. I finished the blue blood quest before going to serana's home and now that I'm a vampire lord, I am affected by sunlight in vampire lord form normally. I believe this is a bug, but let me know if its working appropriately. Still a daywalker in normal form luckily.
Hello guys, I know its February 2025 playing this mod with Skyrim Anniversary Edition heavily modded, I would like to share a fix for an issue w/ Sacrosanct mod where if your character is in Vampire Lord flying form the right hand spell(Blood Magic) or sometimes left is not showing and even if you switch from ground form to flying form again it's still not showing.
The fix for this is to download the loose file version(where the files are extracted or something rather than compressed) of the Sacrosanct mod - Loose version : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/103286
Then that should fix the no Vampire Lord spell issue or any missing Sacrosanct issue that you have. That's all thank you.
Note: The only time the loose version is not usable is if the loose version is not updated to the same latest version of the original but as of now both are on Sacrosanct v6.0.0 so for now its usable
The reason this works for you is because you have a mod in your load order that changes vampire stuff, is loaded after Sacrosanct, and instead of fixing your load order, you just extract the files to forcibly override the other mod.
Of course, its actual esp still loads after Sacrosanct so who knows what else is still broken.

Discuss this mod on /r/EnaiRim or the Enairim Discord
Update: Issue allegedly caused by RaceCompatibility. You don't need RaceCompatibility with Sacrosanct, it already supports custom races by default.

No, I don't. I hadn't even heard of that mod until you linked it.
And as I said, it goes away only when I remove Sacrosanct, which implies at the very least that it is Sacrosanct that adds it.
