Uninstall Wearable Lanterns MCM Fix. Wearable Lanterns MCM Fix included an LE/Oldrim version of StorageUtil.dll which will completely prevent SKSE from loading any dll plugins.
Old versions of CoMAP and Compass Navigation Overhaul may cause an incompatibility that breaks all SKSE mods: Please update CoMAP and Compass Navigation Overhaul or they will prevent SKSE from loading any dll plugins.
Before asking for help without the relevant information. Go through this check list: 1. What verison of visual c++ redistributable are you using? Is it the correct version? 1. What version of skyrim se are you using? 1.5.97 or 1.6? 2. What version of SKSE are you using? is it the correct version for your game? 3. What version of address library are you using? is it the correct version for your game? 4. What version of po3 tweaks are you using? is it the correct version for your game? 5. What verison of security overhaul skse are you using? is it the correct version for your game? 6. Are you actually looking at any locks this mod changes? 7. Are you launching the game through skse? 8. Post skse64.log and po3_lockvariations.log in my documents/my games/skyrim special edition/skse. Put it on pastebin 9. Post screenshots of the mod not working
For anyone using pre-1.629, the 4.0 update won't work. My guess is the DLL or SKSE versions being the issue. A shame, because I want to use the "Extra Locks' mod. Oh well. It isn't worth starting my modlist over. No idea if there's a possibility of a patch of some sort, but I'm not anywhere near as tech-savvy as that would require. Great mod anyway!
Vanilla lockpicking played a certain sound when you hit the sweet spot by rotating the pick slowly. This mod introduces rattle noise as a baseline so that its impossible to tackle harder locks with patience as the rattle is there all the time on slow movement. Is there anyway to revert this so that, with patience, once can still unlock harder locks? Thanks
Not working. I've read the posts and tried what others did to resolve the issue of not seeing the locks appear. Nothing works. I have installed all the author's lock mods. I tested in Markarth.
And here's a paradox — the mod tells us that we HAVE to have the latest version of SKSE, even though in the description of the files it says the mod is compatible with prior version of the game, yet we can't use the latest version of SKSE if we play with an older version of Skyrim, otherwise we get the error message : "You are using Skyrim version X.X.xxx, which is out of date and incompatible with this version of SKSE64 (2.2.6). Update to the latest version."
That probably means you need to use the latest SKSE version that was released for the version of Skyrim that you're using. Here's a nice reference I keep pinned to my clipboard: https://modding.wiki/en/skyrim/users/skse-plugins
That's interesting, never heard of that before and Google sure as hell never brought this when I used it to troubleshoot problems I had with Skyrim for over a decade lol. I'm gonna bookmark it and see what I can do with this! Thanks!
I doubt it, but I get it, it is the go-to excuse in any given mod community. Not that it isn't something that is likely to cause issues, but if the risk of conflicts were that high, the mod author would likely have mentioned it. And I don't have as many mods as most people do, I don't even have 200 mods.
Hi, there. I've been having trouble getting this mod up and running. Not sure what my problem is or what I did wrong, but I've gone through the pinned checklist and everything seems to check out. Any help would be appreciated! :-)

Your install is outdated. Current version of 4.0.0
Also all your links are broken
Anyway, you nailed the problem though.
Thank you!
