This solved my biggest problem with Windhelm... but for some reason the walls near the entrance to Ulfrics throneroom disappear when I stand too close to them :(
I did notice that in vanilla there seems to be an invisible barrier preventing the player from getting as close to the walls, so maybe that has something to do with it. Not entirely sure. All I know is that enabling this mod caused the issue for me, and disabling it made it go away. This is without any Windhelm-specific mods btw
This mod has made the walls in Windehelm blink in and out of existence near the palace. It did work for the streaks on the front if the inn, but all other streaks remained near the trellis fences passed the Shattershield home.
Well, no. I can read the installers in Notepad++ or FOMOD Creation Tool, and WinMerge is perfect to decide whether I want to replace something I already have with something new.
Thanks for confirming that it is the snow texture messing up the Candlehearth Inn windows! Its been bothering me a lot and I could find no explanations for the glitch. It might interest you to know that just changing the the material on the inn like you did (SnowMaterialMountain1P to SnowMaterialFarm) is enough to resolve the glitch, at least for my setup. Changing the max angle is not necessary. In fact, it removes snow from the roof if you do that.
This worked very well for me. I had the snow streak and the would kind of give off a slight flickering effect that was a bit irritating. So i gave this a shot. And indeed, it worked. Clean and clear. thank you endorsed.

Maybe it's something on my end causing the problem. I do have Mrf's Parallax Windhelm, A Few Trees in Windhelm, and Icy Windhelm.
I have some snow on the windows but it looks nicer.
I'd love to know what is causing this.
