Version 1.21
- Safe to update mid-save (pre-quest & post-quest.) Updating while inside the dungeon may cause issues.
- MAJOR CHANGE: Enemies start a couple levels higher, scale with level a bit under 1-to-1, and have a bit higher base health. Compared to v1.10, they're about twice as damaging and 3-4 times (or higher, depending on level) as tanky. Level 1 characters on Adept with no perks & only iron weapons may have to play extra careful.
- MAJOR CHANGE: Tilael's control section if she is reckless is much, much easier. my friends liked it when it was at the hardest difficulty im sorry please stop sending me mean messages i cried reading them
- OK BUT WHAT DOES THAT MEAN: Tilael's base movement speed increased, and pressing the correct first button now boosts her speed by 30% until the end. Time to solve increased by 10 seconds. You now have enough time to go Ruby > Sapphire > have Tilael play her 'that is not the right solution, huh?' line > Ruby > Emerald > Ruby, and then sit at the finish line for another 6 seconds until the timer ends. For context, you can now beat the puzzle far before the song even ends with the new 'correct path' speed boost.
- MINOR: Added 3 lowest-tier waterbreathing potions to Peletius' cell. Added one onto the main bridge. Added several levelled healing & stamina potions scattered around the whole dungeon.
- GENERAL FIX: Subtitles were missing for the two lines added in 1.2.
- GENERAL FIX: Tilael's new line wouldn't play if your framerate wasn't high enough or something (papyrus.. lol..)
- uhhh: The Cause patch is now labeled as unsupported. idk what the problem is.

Version 1.2
- Happy sroot anniversary!
- Safe to update mid-save (pre-quest & post-quest.) Updating while inside the dungeon may cause issues.
- PUZZLES: ALL puzzles with button timers have been changed to no longer include a timer. They are still completed in roughly the same way, nothing is too different. (Tilael's timer /consequence/ is still present, you still must complete that section quickly as it's a result of your choices. Her movement speed has been adjusted for the puzzle.)
- PUZZLE: First post-dream puzzle mostly unchanged. The water level changing button now affects the upper door, the lever no longer has a timer.
- PUZZLE: The 'mirrored' puzzle before/with Tilael is a bit easier. The ruby switch no longer has a timer, and certain symbols have been changed.
- PUZZLE: The timer in Yineel's route area is gone, reaching the end now spawns enemies instead.
- MAJOR CHANGE: By default, enemies are a pinch more challenging: rather than pulling from your game's base skeleton stats, Sirenroot skeletons start at level 2 and scale very softly with level, while also using elven weapons. They're roughly.. 10-30% stronger?
- MAJOR CHANGE: The resurfacing map route for Peletius is no longer a 'control' route- he now moves on his own, and the result depends on whether or not he is injured. (This is because the scripting for checking if he is underwater suddenly did not work the same as before, without any changes at all. Attempts to fix it did not work.)
- MAJOR CHANGE: Cayrice's 'memory' route can be locked out if you're mean to her. ('I don't care,' the first time you find her underground.)
- MAJOR CHANGE: Death routes for Yineel now can be corrected if you have the prerequisites and speak to him in the main hall, rather than locking you out for progressing too quickly.
- MAJOR CHANGE: Yineel's 'best' outcome route is a bit more flexible to account for unorthodox solutions. There are now inventory & death condition checks, rather than a conversation check.
- SMALL CHANGE: The first waterbreathing potion you can encounter is now in a different spot, behind a ruby door. The original location now has a levelled potion, which is easier to access.
- SMALL CHANGE: Enemy count adjusted in the Sapphire pedestal room- rather than 4 immediately, 3 once and then 3 after waking up Tilael.
- SMALL CHANGE: The game saves when you take the first sapphire by Tilael. An engine bug sometimes happens right after, so having a close reload point is nice.
- SMALL CHANGE: There is an actual skeleton for Yineel to check when his ghost scene plays.
- SMALL CHANGE: Tilael has a new little blunder line if you make an incorrect puzzle choice while controlling her.
- SMALL CHANGE: Added an alchemy station onto the main hall bridge. (There are some Nordic Barnacles in the dungeon!)
- SMALL CHANGE: Added a music trigger when you enter the Morbalseli's large room for the first time.
- SMALL CHANGE: Updated The Cause patch. Wade In Water patch removed, as timers are gone. No Puzzle Patch should function fine.
- GENERAL FIX: Frissa's weight slider was at 50 when her face mesh expected 0.
- GENERAL FIX: Peletius should want to actually stand in the right spot when the quest starts.
- OBSCURE FIX: Filled some level gaps in the main hall.
- GENERAL FIX: Telling Peletius 'You'll have to try your hardest.' now gets him moving.
- GENERAL FIX: Post-quest, Yineel and Frissa both move to the Black-Briar manor. Frissa might go to Elgrim's Elixirs during the day.
- OBSCURE FIX: One of Yineel's (granted, very difficult to get,) lines was not triggering: If the player mentioned his work by the lake, he would not reference this later during his main section.
- GENERAL FIX: The dialogue choice that triggers the above line now has a 'Yineel will remember this' message.
- OBSCURE FIX: More checks added to make sure Tilael is in the right spot during her main section.
- GENERAL FIX: I really hope the fake camera NPC at the end gets disabled. please. why is Disable() not Disable()ing. they'll be moved to ANOTHER spot if they're not disabled. hopefully.
- GENERAL FIX: Added missing navmeshing in EVGSiren05

- SIDE NOTE: Did you know that the unique raising water mesh used in the Thieves Guild doesn't have reflections turned on? I did not fix that, but Sirenroot's water is no longer a copy of it
- VISUALS: Updated water visuals, water is significantly clearer when above it and now has full reflections (this makes a huge difference if your game is dark through ENB/you have the Lux patch, etc: many people had pitch black water- this shouldn't be the case anymore.)
- QoL: Updated 'wind' marker positions and scuff marks on some climbing spots to better match the triggerbox (Varlorsel, Welkeseli, Buroseli, Gardens)
- QoL: Prepared extra doors for follower authors who have mentioned adding follower patches (ily)
- QoL: Touched up some clutter in Honrich Ruins and Honrich Varlorsel, cleaned up a seam
- QoL: Added extra collision to the main hall bridge to make it easier to get on from the water
- QoL: Added extra collision to the top of the 3-block puzzle in Honrich Welkeseli to allow faster climbing and less getting stuck on bully meshes >:(

- Merged ALL fixes from patches 1.02 and 1.03.
- NEW: Added a note near Cayrice in Honrich Varlorsel, hinting at an item related to the ending.
- MODLIST CONFLICT FIX: (merged from 1.02) Redid all Ayleid quest aliases as some users were getting crashes on load
- MODLIST CONFLICT FIX: (merged from 1.03 + added more) Generated facegen for actors who are invisible/wear helmets as some users were getting crashes inconsistently (Lost Souls, Crilduin, the Camera NPC)
- MODLIST CONFLICT FIX: Disabled doors and certain pathing routes in the Main Hall until Tilael's first dialogue is over, as some users found her wanting to teleport all over the place

- GENERAL FIX: Yineel's first line now only triggers when the player speaks to him, rather than on detection to prevent it from getting cut off
