    Hey shay what are you planning to do in the future?

    current status as of may 26th :
    I have spent the past 2 weeks in the spare time i had with limited amount of testers (people move on, can't expect free testers always so no blame on anyone there) trying to find the culprit of the AI loop spawn issues. unfortunately, i'm sorry to say this but: it is guaranteed something we can't access. It does not happen often but it does pop up once in a blue moon unfortunately :/ besides that problem the main file and all add-ons function the same way you are used to. Waiting on SDK news so i can take a look under the hood and see the future of this mod. I am once again sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and i hope you will keep having a great time with this mod even with this new weird behaviour!

    can i use addon with the am1 deadzone fix? 
    because the main one dont work but i want to use addon too

      How far in story are you? it has been a while since that has been reported, it should be fine to use but it might just be your progress giving the feeling that it isn't working :)

    Havent played the game in awhile because of frequent updates breaking mods that I have to install over and over again, but is this mod still an improvement over base game AI by 1.4?

      I don't advertise my mod, i like it if others share their opinion. (to not be biased in regards of my own work compared to others).
      The question is only up for almost 2 days so i hope others will come to answer :)

      but to help you get started:
      There are currently 2 active a-life mods on nexus that are both safe to install and uninstall at any time, those 2 are:
      - This one (SLZ) or its more complete version (SLZC)
      - A-life Found a Way (FaW)
      It goes to say they are not compatible with eachother.
      so it doesn't hurt to try both in an individual play session each (if you have the game still installed)

    Are the "other mods by amazing people" listed in the description supposed to be compatible with this mod? Also, are they currently functional in the latest version of the game?

      yes! all of their mods are compatible and have been tested by testers in combination with my mod :D

    i now you said this would work for 1.4 but until you update past 1.4 as much as i like your mod i will have to wait

      thanks for kind words man but what do you mean? im confused, i tested it myself for around 15h on 1.4 it works.
      only known issue atm is the weird AI behaviour that i think is related to the changes in areas we can't see/access

      i dont want the weird AI behaviour i need that fixed i mean you have a great mod and your really good at doing it if you can get that fixed that would be great sorry if my words offend you in anyway i just read all comments on the first page and you and the comment above me say it i hope you can fix it but if you cant i understand modding is hard o and thx for getting back to me

      no worries and i am testing but can't find a cause, neither my mod nor the files are touched making me believe it's something we cant access or see. it does not happen often from what i see in testing, still looking for it but hard without proper tools and such :/

      unfortunately i don't quite get your question, do you mean the talk and trade + roaming traders? those are in the "complete" see bottom of description :)

    Don't know if its because of SLZ, but since the 1.4 patch, stalkers in Pripyat at least are behaving weird, they just stand still and glitch out. Nothing is really happening.

      no changes here, just some random buggyness i guess.
      neither slz nor the files it changes are changed in 1.4 :/

      hello dropping in for an update:
      Is this happening often? other regions? i'm currently testing an update for the complete version and have noticed weird behaviour since 1.4. working with testers to find the issue. so to let you know i havent just brushed this off per se :D

      I think it might be the game itself that's bugged, I just started a new game with OXA and stalker infinity and there are squads of stalkers spawning on top of the bus stops in the lesser zone and getting stuck on top of them and other weird s#*! like that. Im going to install this right now, I'll let you know if it makes the weirdness from before I added better or worse.

      it's the game, i've been testing for a while together with a few others and i can't pinpoint the cause, i think its something we cant access/see. does it happen often? i dont play often myself anymore besides testing for certain durations at a time

    I just ran into a bug.

    Started a new game after 1.4 dropped. And now while at the cottage with the Monolithan and Mastiff there's an infinite repeating spawn of a squad of loners. They spawn in at the house, run north west for about 50m then despawn and respawn at the house again. This loops infinitely.

      On my radar, honestly no clue since none of the accessible a-life files are changed so this must be a change in something we can't access, i have the same issue with boars currently while testing the complete version update. very strange :/ will keep you updated on findings and if needed update this mod too for a possible fix

    The 100m NPC render distance hard cap remains in 1.4 as well, right?

    question? Need help.  if I use this with Deso and OXA will it tome down the hardcore npcs of Deso?

      not at all :)
      This mod does not impact the behaviour of NPC's at all so any combat mod or NPC mod will work.

      Sorry, i just read this. rest assured all existing add-ons as well as the main file will remain the very same way you are used to throughout updates, i will only adjust accordingly to make them compatible with never versions until this mod isn't needed anymore (decent release of alife 2.0 by gsc themselfs).
      I am obviously aware that some users have grown to like the main file + any possible add-on they are using and i will therefore not alter those versions to not ruin the experience of the user (like you <3).

    What means OG ?

      These refer to spawn times ranging back to november-december, these are the slowest spawn times available most of the time and are purely there for people who enjoyed the exact spawn times from the early day's of the mod.
      10x just refers to 10 times faster spawn times compared to the baseline available in main file :) (usefull for longer days users since spawn times are slowed down if days are longer)
