current status as of may 15th : No changes to the files i adjust for a-life (that are the main file so no a-life changes in 1.4) therefore no need for mod update. for future updates that do require one then i will update the mod only to be compatible with the most recent version, not anything else since some players have grown to like the main file settings and/or one of the add-ons after it.
Are the "other mods by amazing people" listed in the description supposed to be compatible with this mod? Also, are they currently functional in the latest version of the game?
thanks for kind words man but what do you mean? im confused, i tested it myself for around 15h on 1.4 it works. only known issue atm is the weird AI behaviour that i think is related to the changes in areas we can't see/access
i dont want the weird AI behaviour i need that fixed i mean you have a great mod and your really good at doing it if you can get that fixed that would be great sorry if my words offend you in anyway i just read all comments on the first page and you and the comment above me say it i hope you can fix it but if you cant i understand modding is hard o and thx for getting back to me
no worries and i am testing but can't find a cause, neither my mod nor the files are touched making me believe it's something we cant access or see. it does not happen often from what i see in testing, still looking for it but hard without proper tools and such :/
Don't know if its because of SLZ, but since the 1.4 patch, stalkers in Pripyat at least are behaving weird, they just stand still and glitch out. Nothing is really happening.
hello dropping in for an update: Is this happening often? other regions? i'm currently testing an update for the complete version and have noticed weird behaviour since 1.4. working with testers to find the issue. so to let you know i havent just brushed this off per se :D
I think it might be the game itself that's bugged, I just started a new game with OXA and stalker infinity and there are squads of stalkers spawning on top of the bus stops in the lesser zone and getting stuck on top of them and other weird s#*! like that. Im going to install this right now, I'll let you know if it makes the weirdness from before I added better or worse.
it's the game, i've been testing for a while together with a few others and i can't pinpoint the cause, i think its something we cant access/see. does it happen often? i dont play often myself anymore besides testing for certain durations at a time
Started a new game after 1.4 dropped. And now while at the cottage with the Monolithan and Mastiff there's an infinite repeating spawn of a squad of loners. They spawn in at the house, run north west for about 50m then despawn and respawn at the house again. This loops infinitely.
On my radar, honestly no clue since none of the accessible a-life files are changed so this must be a change in something we can't access, i have the same issue with boars currently while testing the complete version update. very strange :/ will keep you updated on findings and if needed update this mod too for a possible fix
dear shay! i just wanted to let you know, your current version of this mod (main file) is absolutely PERFECT! you did a great job, please dont change it ever. it just feels so natural. thank you!
Aw man thx <3 Sorry, i just read this. rest assured all existing add-ons as well as the main file will remain the very same way you are used to throughout updates, i will only adjust accordingly to make them compatible with never versions until this mod isn't needed anymore (decent release of alife 2.0 by gsc themselfs). I am obviously aware that some users have grown to like the main file + any possible add-on they are using and i will therefore not alter those versions to not ruin the experience of the user (like you <3). Have fun out there in the zone stalker!
These refer to spawn times ranging back to november-december, these are the slowest spawn times available most of the time and are purely there for people who enjoyed the exact spawn times from the early day's of the mod. 10x just refers to 10 times faster spawn times compared to the baseline available in main file :) (usefull for longer days users since spawn times are slowed down if days are longer)
i mean, not sure what exactly add-on u will prefer, im not at my pc atm but i would just try some add-ons and see if u can find the sweet spot, perhaps more human and full mutants unlocked
It doesn't seem to be working for me for some reason. I walk around the world and hardly meet anyone. And sometimes, there are moments when it looks like 5 NPCs spawn at the same time at one point. I'll try out the complete mod. Thanks for the mod and (probably) good work!

have u tried the faster spawn time variations? perhaps its not fast enough for you? its a personal thing i assume, as for the 5 at once that could just be that u spotted a spawn in open world, the other reason could be its a lair/poi and it was a spawn for that. how is complete? u tried it by now?

This mod does not impact the behaviour of NPC's at all so any combat mod or NPC mod will work.
