The relatively recent addition of Anti-Cheat in Star Citizen seems to force the use of the vanilla PS5 controller. If the L1 modifier doesn't work for you and the lightbar is not orange in-game, this is likely the issue. Please follow the troubleshooting steps I added to the description and let me know if it works!
the troubleshooting is not working for 4.0.1 PTU. DS4 instant closing.
Edit: After a few tests, I found out that the problem only occurs when I select the DS4 profile. The default profile does not cause the program to crash. The Profile gives me that error ERROR. vJoy initialization failed. Make sure that DS4Windows application can find vJoyInterface.dll library file
Love this mod and i cant play without it. But there is few issues I'm running into. While in ship you can only swap between guns and scanning or QT and scanning. No salvage/mining/collecting or using missiles. Also while in Zero-G its slow or nearly impossible to turn around.
Never mind i need to learn to see the layout picture.
Been having a few issues with this. I seem to be having a lot of problems with the LB modifier. It just doesn't seem to function. I cannot use it to open pit menu or even use it to strafe left and right while flying. The input is coming through as I see holding LB + Y doesn't open the interact menu. So the game knows LB is being held.
Another question, why does the ingame mapping look totally different from the mapping in the images you provided? Which mapping am I following?
I hope someone can help as I really want to play this game on controller.
I believe I have tracked down the problem. It seems to be caused by Star Citizen's relatively recent addition of Anti-Cheat. Please check the troubleshooting solution I added to the main description and let me know if it works!
I usually turn the controller on and off a few times, until the lightbar color is correct, and then everything works well. I believe Hide DS4 Controller option enabled is necessary.
Thank you for your great work! In Vehicle Mapping image lights should be M1 Lights [2], not M1 Lights. Maybe Freelook would be more effective without L1 modification key?
Hi, thanks for the feedback! I will add the correction to my notes. Are you holding for freelook or toggling it? It could be swapped with decoupled flight, which is currently on the stick without modifier.
Unfortunalty I tried it today and somehow the mappings do not work correctly. If I press the touchpad it opens the mobiglass. Circle makes me crouch and holding it prone. I used the extra tool and my controller does have red LEDs, but they are flickering somehow.
Is there maybe an issue or maybe I did something wrong?
Hi, I wanted to provide some feedback on version 3.24.2. I've encountered a few issues, such as overlapping commands and problems with double-tap. Thank you for looking into this!
I think you are right about the inner thought, it is hold now with their interaction refactor. I should update the diagram. You can also just mouse-click with the touchpad on the locker to skip the interaction wheel, which is what I tend to do.
Landing gear is "landing system" under LB + digi-down!
I have not tested it myself, but since all standard buttons are directly bound in Star Citizen it should work fine. I don't know if it would support the touchpad as a mouse.
I made a whole mapping centered around reWASD and incorporating Emily Voice Assistant. I may incorporate Tobi Eye Tracking in the future but I am moving soon so it will have to wait until I settle down. You can use reWASD as a mouse but not exactly what you have going. I have it set to click the touchpad instead of scrolling. Clicking the right top makes the mouse scroll up and clicking the right bottom makes the mouse scroll down. I use the right side to zoom in and out while ADS but then again I can activate that command with Emily by voice. The good thing with reWASD is that you can have several different layers so I have one just for "ON FOOT." Then I have a second layer for "FLIGHT." For the on-foot layer, I have a shift layer that activates to allow me to use the tractor beam more efficiently. I may incorporate that and add more key binds for mining/salvaging. I just haven't gotten to those game modes yet to trial and error. I used your setup to assist me in many of my mappings though. reWASD even has a Radial Menu layer that I may incorporate in the future but I may not due to Star Citizen having its own Radial Menu. And your added program to make the mappings pic is a lifesaver. I was screenshotting the reWASD mappings and pasting them in my OneNote before but now I can go and make accurate headings for all my custom settings.
Thanks! Not currently, unless I get one for Christmas 👀 I'm assuming the majority of the player base does not have the Edge controller though. But I'm curious how you make use of the extra buttons?
If you get reWASD you can do all that and more. Plus, it works with a myriad of different controllers. It is worth the purchase but they even have a free basic version if you want to test it out.

thank you for this amazing layout.

Some stuff works some dont.
Thanks for this mapping but i have a question.
Whenever i try to open a door or open a locker i have to hold the interact button rather then just tap the interact button
Is this normal ?

I was baked as hell last night trying to start my ship looking at that paper layout which was the on foot layout lmao
Just printed out the in vehicle layout as well =)
I had to modify it to add functionality to PRO extra buttons. Is there any plans to add PRO functionality into this mod?
Back button as Q and E for FPS.
Function as A and D to strife right n left.
Would be cool if you can use function buttons as two separate modifiers.
Totally worth not really 200 bucks but lol
