Baldur's Village is a fan-made expansion that adds Baldur's Gate 3 characters to Stardew Valley. This mod adds 20+ new beautifully drawn characters, 6 new locations, new shops with special items, events, and more!

A new village has recently been built north of Pelican Town, and its new residents seem... rather unusual. You can find the entrance to Baldur's Village at the top of the southern mountain map, right next to Linus' tent.
Baldur's Village is a large expansion mod for Stardew Valley, inspired by Baldur’s Gate 3. It introduces a brand-new village map and NPCs while staying true to the game's original atmosphere. Among them, Astarion features a fully developed personal storyline and is available for marriage.
More content updates are planned for the future, including new gameplay features, additional NPCs, and new storylines and romances.

Astarion Romance Events:
0 hearts(blood trail): Enter Baldur’s Village, 7 PM – 11:50 PM, sunny weather.
1 heart(apologize and gift): Enter Astarion‘s house, any time of day. (Requires 0 hearts event)
2 hearts(hunting wild boar): Enter the Mountain, 7 PM – 11 PM. (Requires 1 heart event)

- This mod requires SMAPI, Content Patcher, and Portraiture to be installed.
- Move the BVportrait files to the Portraiture mod folder. You can find the BVportrait files on the download files screen.

I haven't played Baldur's Gate 3. Can I still play this mod?
You can. You'll follow the new villagers' stories as a farmer, so prior BG3 experience isn't required to enjoy this mod. However, please note this mod contains lots of spoilers since it takes place after BG3's ending.
Also, we highly recommend playing Baldur's Gate 3—it's a great game. If playing our mod sparks your curiosity about Baldur's Gate 3 or the fascinating world of D&D, we'd be thrilled—that's exactly why we created it!
Why are the character‘s portraits not displaying correctly?
Please download the Portraiture mod and place the BVportrait files into the Portraiture mod folder. For detailed instructions, refer to the sticky post on the Posts screen.
Are you considering creating 64x64 portraits in the future?
No, we're not planning to create 64x64 portraits, as that resolution doesn't allow us to accurately portray the characters' appearances. Thanks for understanding!
Do I need to start a new save to play this mod?
No, this mod simply adds new content; it does not alter or break the original game.
Why do all the new characters stay in bed all day? Is that a bug?
Unfortunately, this is a known Context Patcher issue, not a bug with our mod. It occurs only when you add the mod mid-game(rather than from day one). They'll return to normal schedules the next day, so it won't affect gameplay. If you want to avoid this entirely, we recommend installing the mod before starting a new game.
Is this mod compatible with SVE, RSV, and ES?
Yes! We've worked to ensure compatibility, but minor issues may occur due to limited testing. Please report any problems to us.
Will new character romance storylines be added in the future?
Yes! Our next focus will be creating Halsin’s romance storyline. Once completed, we will shift our attention to expanding the mod’s world-building, background stories, and gameplay by introducing new features and items.
Future updates will depend on:
- Nexus download & endorsement count
- Crowdfunding support
- Whether we encounter issues with piracy, unauthorized reuploads, or reselling of the mod
