Before you comment your issues with the mod I would like you to exhaust all possibilities. Be aware of where your game is installed and of what other mods you're already using. I purchased my game through Steam so if you have the Gamepass version I cannot help you. that version of the game is quite different in how it can load mods from what I understand.
Download xedit to view and compare mods that may conflict with one another or try moving the ESM around in your plugin list. If this is your first time modding then your issue may be user error. That's fine. Modding can be difficult sometimes. Just read the comments and bugs section before reporting your issue. Someone has likely had the same issue.
Currently the best method of loading ESM mods is through Plugins.txt Enabler. Make sure you read that mod pages description and that you install its requirements. Vortex currently doesn't know what to do with plugin.txt. you'll need to manually add that to AppData folder as the mod page describes. If it is still in your data folder delete it. Adding sTestFile Line in starfieldcustom.ini is also an option if you don't want to download script extender but it doesn't always work so I no longer support this method. It only allows you to have 10 ESM plugins anyways.
I'm having a specific issue with this mod. When the ESM of this mod is active, the guard helmets are sideways and not on the top of their heads and the uniform the marshal wears at the bank robbery quest has a lot of weird Z-fighting going on. When I disable the ESM, the helmets are on their heads properly and the marshal's uniform isn't messing up but the guards who had the custom blasters are A-posing.
nevermind, I didn't uninstall the old version of the mod. I'm being stupid
I know it's a big ask, but due to the mod/form cap issue CK2 has, is there any chance you can make an AIO mod for all your replacer sets? Would that even change anything to lower the cap?
Greetings! I'm having trouble with the Freestar Rebels mod. The helmet and backpack show up as the intended rebel gear but the spacesuit doesn't. Its still the Ranger suit. Ive moved it up and down my load order but the suit doesn't change to the rebel spacesuit. Beautiful mods! I hear a Chewbacca mod is coming? Looking forward to that! Forgot to mention I downloaded it from Bethesda.net if that matters!
Having an issue where all the security guards look like 1 guy, even female guards. They are labeled properly and have on the uniforms but they are the same and their mouths don't move.
It worked fine for a day. I got up this morning and loaded the same save... all the gear is gone and they are wearing vanilla again. How does that even happen mid playthrough?
Not so much a complaint about the mod and me looking for a solution.
hey, i downloaded this mod from the Creations menu on Starfield and it wasn't working, deleted it and downloaded it from Nexus and now it works?? weird but thanks for the mods really cool
Yeha im noticing vanilla replacer mods tend to revert to their original files if you reload a save. starting the game over fixes it for me. Ill probebly rework the mod the same way i did my uc empire mod.
