This tool can also customize NPC sabers. Just edit the slot that is their lightsaber's default color.
Share your RGB values in replies to this post if you create good looking colors! Additionally, a pic of the saber would do nicely.
Due to the download file being a digitally unsigned standalone portable executable which was directly compiled to .exe, it may trigger a false positive for some users in your browser or threat protection.
what's the hex code for this crimson color? I can't get it to work. Trying to export that hex code for outfit manager because I need different colored sabers.
Red and Green do not work properly while Outfit Manager is installed (Red being the reason to download this as vanilla Red is blood orange).
Amendment: Can confirm the Crimson preset in both Red slots works for Original Trilogy Red. As for Green I used a Chartreuse Core and a Forest Green Glow for something I liked.
As for a Prequel Red that works for both player and NPC alike, it remains elusive.
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could share some simple tips with me. I'm trying to get the hang of altering these colors and mostly its all good. I've noticed that some colors aren't turning out as good once I get in game. For instance, I tried altering the "indigo" color to make it more distinct from the regular blue. Once I got in game, it had a very weak "light in a little tube" effect. I noticed that some of the colors I altered came out awesome in game, having the core and glow both be really bright and more "fat" looking than some other colors.
Does anyone have a general idea of how to avoid the "thin neon light in a tube effect" and how to get more of the colors to come out looking like the "fat" bright colors that make the saber look bigger than some of the others? I'm thinking maybe I need to have the "glow" set to the actual color i'm shooting for and then set the "core" to be a slightly brighter/lighter version of the same color to make it work correctly?
Thanks for any help and thanks again for this really cool mod!
I've played around with the settings so much and have gotten many great results. I've managed to get indigo to look better than I initially reported, but it still seems to be not as "thick" as the other colors. Here is a good example:
Indigo - Core -- R = 105 G = 45 B = 225 Glow -- R = 105 G = 20 B = 225
In comparison to my awesome yellow setting
Yellow - Core -- R = 239 G = 214 B = 48 Glow -- R = 234 G = 214 B = 60
In the case of the yellow and most of my other colors, the saber looks nice and "fat". Most of the colors seem to be about the same width or "thickness" and I'm very happy with them. It's only indigo that I can't get to look this way and to a lesser extent the orange red color, though not as pronounced in difference as the indigo.
I'm just wondering if there are some general guidelines of how to set the core vs glow options in order to get the best results. Or perhaps the darker tones of the blue/purple spectrum just don't show up as well on my screen. I've had to set my "blue" and "purple" saber colors to fairly lighter tones in order to make them show up nicely.
Either way, I'm having mostly amazing results with this editor and I really appreciate you making this mod. Its been awesome to play around with the colors and change them up as I go through the game. Thanks again!
Modern system security suggests that directly downloading executables from the internet onto your Windows system is a bad practice. Even official executables from Microsoft get flagged by SmartScreen and Edge.
Does anyone know whether this mod allows its user to have two different saber colours while duel wielding? (example Darth Revan's purple and red sabers)
I love you, I waited a long time for this, always hoped someone would make it considering it was one of Fallen Order's most popular mods! The best part about this for me is the SFX swap. Can't wait to set the white, cyan, and red sound sets onto other colors as well. Thank you!
I adjusted the colors and exported the file, then copied the pak files into the game's directory in the pak folder. Yet the edited colors aren't showing up in-game. I don't use any other mods. Does anyone know why the game isn't reading the pak file?
A mod author very recently told me that this tool in its current state is incompatible with the game on patch 9. It looks like you could be facing the same issue. I'll look into figuring out what's wrong and update the tool if and when I find a solution to this issue.
alright, thanks. I'll follow this and see. I've used the color editor for Fallen Order and I honestly can't play without it. The vanilla colors just seem so off.
So the mod itself works for me only when i reselect the saber color i replaced in the workbench. fresh launch does not apply the color until i visit a bench unfortunately.
Really glad you made this mod as the Outfit Manager mod conflicts with the UItra+ Performance mod. Using your lightsaber colour editor and the performance mod makes the game much more satisfying to play.
Also thank you for figuring out the red combo because the in-game red is basically orange, the orange red isn't even remotely close to Baylan Skoll's colour either. I don't know what the developers were thinking when they set the red colours in this game.

I could make proper "red" colour lightsaber with it. Standard "red" is closer to orange in this game.
For other people trying to do the same - choose pre-defined color "crimson". Looks amazing!

More options are a good thing.

I'm just installing this and I suck at identifying the colors by myself
