Prepare to Die Edition Changelog:
General Changes:
- Improved Hard and Legend difficulties.
- Readjusted gear properties and values (gear is now more unique, split into tiers and sets have more impact, also there are more set combinations and even a hidden set).
- Guns are dangerous, always carry gun resistance armor with you.
- Readjusted food/medicine cost and recovery values to be more appealing.
- Readjusted sodas buffs potency and duration. Weak sodas last longer, powerful sodas don't last long (but there are food items at Poppo that cost a lot and offer an increased duration, though you can only carry a few at a time).
- Most Story Bosses and some mini-bosses have more hp and damage.
- Coliseum bosses completely remade and readjusted, no more boring bosses, no more easy encounters, enemies use the strongest version of their fighting/weapon style.
- New Coliseum bosses:
Shun Akiyama (replaces Iron Fist Sakai)
Taiga Saejima (replaces Chol-Su Kwon)
Daigo Dojima (replaces Sho Imaizumi)
Osamu Kashiwagi (replaces Nagafuchi the Skanda)
Kazuma Kiryu (replaces Majima if using Majima Style Switching mod or Yamaoka if using Yagami mod)
- Coliseum boss Majima, Saejima, Akiyama and Kiryu use heat mode (but Choshu, Tenryu and Kamiyama no longer have heat).
- Coliseum battle exp gained increased to reflect new difficulty.
- Better Coliseum rewards (you can actually make money now).
- Coliseum hp restored between rounds increased (about 1/3 of hp restored).
- Increased exp gained from street fights.
- Increased exp gained from karaoke.
- Readjusted skill/stats exp requirements, readjusted description and prerequisite skills for Style Switching.
- Increased Extreme Heat activation cost and drain (extreme heat mode is not longer the "get out of jail" card used to prevent death).
- Start with less attack, defense, health and heat, which means less stats by the end of the game (also reduced attack cap). This makes sets more relevant to the overall game as they will balance out survivability and offensive capability.
Cabaret changes:
- Cabaret Grand Prix bosses are actually challenging and require planning, strategy and a fair amount of min-maxing.
- Cabaret hostess health decreases if you fail to help them and recovers less if you need a tip.
- Cabaret Tycoons are no longer guaranteed to extend the sessions, but Requests still have a high chance to extend, while generating a bit less than Tycoons.
- Platinum hostesses are a bit better.
- Yuki has full S rank in all categories and improved stats, true to her diamond status.
- Gold hostesses go up to level 35 and are a bit better, to be competitive in the late game.
- Leveling from 20 to 40 requires more exp, to balance out the improved stats.
- Silver hostesses are a bit better (especially those from substories).
- Some bronze hostesses are a bit better.
- Readjusted Grand Prix rivals.
- Increased difficulty and decreased reward from Oil Barons.
- Readjusted income from "rich" and "request" clients.
- Increased prices and some stats to accessories, dresses and hair styles.
- Increased recruitment cost for early game hostesses and clan creator employees.
- Increased partner shops cost proportional to league (later leagues have expensive partnerships).
- Increased partner shops fans from later leagues (as they cost more).
Clan Creator changes:
- Clan Creator money reward from repeating missions increased (for replay value), but recruiting price increased.
- Clan Creator SR (and some R) recruits buffed to be more comparable to the DLC recruits (no more P2W).
- Clan Creator skill costs readjusted to be proportional to the buff they give, while money generating skills are cheaper to counter-balance the increase. (instant skills untouched)
Yagami version added. (only if you want to play as Yagami)
- Kiryu replaces Yamaoka in the Coliseum.
- Yagami has his own fighter info for the Coliseum.
Kiryu Must Die Vanilla version added. (only if you want to play with the vanilla combat moveset)
How to install:
1. Install Ryu Mod Manager (RMM).
2. Run RyuModManager.exe once to generate the mods folder.
3. Choose ONLY ONE of the 3 files (either Yakuza Kiwami 2 Prepare to Die Edition, Yagami Must Die OR Kiryu Must Die Vanilla version).
4. Place the contents of the archive following the folder structure of RMM (Yakuza Kiwami 2 -> mods -> mod folder).
Example: open "Yakuza Kiwami 2 Prepare to Die Edition.rar", open the mods folder inside the archive, place the "Style Switcher KRU", "Style Switcher MJM" and "Kiryu Must Die" folders inside Yakuza Kiwami 2\mods
5. Run RyuModManagerGUI.exe, check the desired mod and have the correct load order, then click "Save".
- For ""Yakuza Kiwami 2 Prepare to Die Edition" you need to load "Style Switcher KRU" first, "Style Switcher MJM" second (only if you want to play as Majima) and "Kiryu Must Die last.
- For "Yagami Must Die" and "Kiryu Must Die Vanilla version" there is no load order as there is only one folder.

Mod inspired by Kiryu Must Die Overhaul by gladias9: https://www.nexusmods.com/yakuza6/mods/1
There was nothing similar for Kiwami 2, so knowing that it can be done inspired me to make this. Please download and endorse this if playing Yakuza 6.
Style Switching by ReLLeRtR: https://www.nexusmods.com/yakuzakiwami2/mods/258
I cannot see myself playing without it, so my mod is tailored around it. I do not claim any of the work done on Style Switching, so please download and endorse the original mod, even if it is included in this pack. Also, please check the original mod page to understand how the mod works.

Please download and endorse all the above mods if you enjoy playing as Yagami, as it would not be possible without them. My mod only makes the game more difficult and the pack is made only for compatibility sake. I do not claim any of their work and do not wish to profit, this upload is made for entertainment purpose.
This mod pack was made for me, I don't mind taking it down if any of the above creators feel like I've stolen their work, but I'd like to share this in case anyone else feels like the game is too easy and want a fair challenge on Hard and Legend.
